  1. Hell yeah! Can't wait for US dates now.
  2. My favorite LP live moment: I actually have two. 1. San Francisco, California Summer Sanitarium 2003. My first LP show. This show has a lot of memories for me, and also came at a very difficult point in my life. Three days before the show one of my closest friends died after an accident in her home and I was devastated. Being able to go to a show and scream at the top of my lungs was therapy. I didn't really know all that much about LP at the time, but I was in the pit for their performance and I was won over immediately. The stage presence and the crowd reaction was amazing. I have been to a lot of shows, and this was the first time that any band came out and said hey, girls have as much right to crowd surf and what not without being groped for it, Chester used more colorful words, but having them say that was great. 2. Mountain View, California Projekt Revolution 2008. This was the night Brad decided to play a joke on Rob and let him go on playing his drums a bit longer than was planned. I was in the crowd that night, and I knew enough that something was going on because of the recordings that had been released already from the tour. I could see Rob's face on the big screens and the look he had was priceless. I only wish I could have been in LA the next night to see Rob's revenge on Brad.
  3. It is on American time, everything will be posted by this time tomorrow. =)
  4. EWWWW. There's some really good guesses here. hmmm.......
  5. This is going to be an international contest, so its open to everyone.
  6. There was one video that was fan made, I remember seeing it. It was on youtube at one point, not sure if it still is. If I find it I will post a link later.
  7. When and how did this turn into a thread about sex? Back on topic please.
  8. This. They will release it when they are good and ready, on their schedule. The complaining accomplishes nothing.
  9. Hah, well I was going to be nice today, and not be the warning happy bitch everyone thinks I am. =D
  10. This thread is getting seriously off topic and turning into something that it shouldn't. If I see any more negative comments I will be deleting them. Respect those of us that are sad over the death of a great musician, and if you can't do that then don't comment. Even more so than that, respect the dead.
  11. If you've ever done this: \m/ you have him to thank for it. Rest In Peace Dio.
  12. Love it. Mike - Whats up with all the fangirling? Me - People are just being stupid Mike - Jen74 thanks for that comment. (or something like that) Awesome.
  13. Its that time of year again, when the owner of this website celebrates his birthday and some of the staff got together to wish him a Happy 19th Birthday. From Wilderness: So, I know a guy who once woke up at 5am just to talk about a certain vocalist named Mike Shinoda... in fact, this was only last week, but the point is, who can seriously be such a dedicated Linkin Park fan that he'd wake up before the sun does to talk about them? Well, the same guy who admins the best Linkin Park fansite and hasn't been shy on being an admin to many others. The same guy who traveled to Europe from the US to see Linkin Park/Dead By Sunrise at a few shows. The same guy who is celebrating his 19th birthday today - our Linkin Park freak Mark Terrell (Hahninator). Happy Birthday Buddy! ---------------------------------------------------- From SpikeMinoda: Hey Mark, all the best for you and it was a plessure to meet you last summer at Zürich and Stuttgart. I had a lot of fun with you, would be nice to spend some more time with you on the next LP tour in Germany/Europe. Have a nice birthday and have a nice party with your friends. It's a plessure for me to work together with you at LPL. Happy Birthday Koala! ---------------------------------------------------- From Jen: Mark, yet another year gone by, and I just wanted to wish you a very happy birthday, and that you have a great day. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to work on this site, and to be part of the Linkin Park fan community. ---------------------------------------------------- From Nameless: It's been very long time since I first met one of the most hardcore Linkin Park fans ever on the old EFnet channel, and I can certainly say that you've become a good reference and a great friend, inside this world wide community. Last year you asked me to join the crew of this awesome, badass fansite and I'm very glad to be a part of it! We definitely have to meet on the next LP euro tour, with all the other guys. Happy bday dude! ---------------------------------------------------- From LPxDC : Wow I remember first talking to Mark back in 07 about his site and giving my compliments on it. Now fast forward three years later and this guy has become one of my greatest references/friend in the world of Linkin Park. It's been an honor working for him as mod on this site. I hope one day we meet at a Linkin Park show man. Happy 19th Birthday Mark!!! ----------------------------------------------------- From the king Joe_LP: You know we love each other... ... anyway homie happy birthday, you know how proud i am to be part of this site. One day i'll go to US and get drunk watching lp shows, have fun. *will be editing this as the other staff members add to it*
  14. *shakes my head* my god, am I really that old. *cries*
  15. *facepalm* Mickey Hart was part of a little band called the Grateful Dead.
  16. Anyone else want a suspension?
  17. They have a history of stealing official audio and hosting it, and at times even charging people to download it. This is just the most recent incident in a long line of things they have done.
  18. Oh sounds like great prizes. good luck everyone.
  19. I like that he's making himself more accessible to the fans as of late. Its pretty awesome. I hope he continues to do that, and that maybe some of the other guys will follow his lead.

    Lots of New JK

This right here is what makes my job as a mod so much fun. The vast majority of the users here are fine with the content, and the decisions that the staff makes. But there's the small minority that chooses to complain about every single little thing, and guess what? It gets old really fucking quickly. If you don't like the content here, and the hard work that we as the staff and moderators put into finding it for you, then leave, no one is going to stop you. The door is that way ----->
  21. And on that note, none of the independent tapers have to share anything with the community, they do so because they want to, and its not easy work from the sounds of it. Being constructive in criticism is one thing, being condescending and rude is another. After all, being nice gets you more stuff in the future.
