  1. Nick, you aren't even that old either, so I don't know what you are talking about...
  2. Happy Birthday Anthony (for the 3rd time, lol). Thanks for the show Mark, its awesome. =)
  3. We can only hope that bitch never has access to a computer ever again.
  4. To post on twitter: At the top of the screen you will see a prompt that says "What are you doing?" and right under that is an empty box. To send a message to someone else you need their user name. Example to send a message to Chester its ChesterBe. you would type @ChesterBe, insert message here. After you type your message click on update. To post a general message, you just type your message in the same box with no user name attached to the message, and then click update.
  5. Thanks! I am still a bit shocked over it.
  6. Latest item in my collection I just won these in a contest one of the LPU mods held. So awesome.
  7. You have to remember that the score is meant to enhance the movie itself, so its going to be more influenced by the film then by anything Linkin Park has released.
  8. http://www.filmjunk.com/2009/04/30/transfo...llen-trailer-2/ Starts about 12 seconds in. It really sounds like its a possibility of being Linkin Park. Thoughts?
  9. Here's another idea, I can change the font color and size if need be. I thought the back ground turned out really cool though.
  10. I think its coming really closely on the heels of Tak's rant on Facebook for a reason.
  11. In an effort to add more detail to the set list from the Summer Sanitarium Set, we are trying to figure out where the sample in this Intro came from. Most likely its something not very well known, as the other sample LP used was very obscure, and came from some 200 year old spanish poem. this is the sample http://www.4shared.com/account/file/962717...01_-_Intro.html any ideas at all would be helpful.
  12. You got that on ebay didn't you?? I was bidding against you if so.
  13. There's a new album update on Mike's blog. He is thinking Dead by Sunrise will be out this Fall and the new LP album early next year. "Anyway, we're still working hard on the new record, at home and in the studio. We've been meeting with producers and trying to make a schedule. Yesterday, we had a great talk about the details...we'd like to have Chester's Dead By Sunrise record out around the fall, and the new Linkin Park record in the earlier part of next year. We're working hard on lots of new music for you, and I can't wait 'til you get to hear it." Source here.
  14. In all honesty, as a sign of respect for everyone, no one should be bashing anyone elses musical preferences. That being said, I agree that this is a very opinionated topic, and for the most part, every single person is going to have a different take on it than everyone else. All the staff asks for is that everyone respect the opinions of everyone else. No bashing or flaming please.
  15. The link doesn't work?? I can't click on it or anything. =(
  16. I think Devon Townsend essentially ruined a lot of things when it comes to Linkin Park and the way they relate to their fans. It seemed that before that entire situation, they were all a lot more personable and accessible. It would make anyone ill at ease after dealing with what she put Chester and his family through. It only takes one person to ruin a really good thing.
  17. I will work on a few other ideas in the next few days. =)
  18. I want to go. damn my lack of money and a passport.
  19. We are eventually going to have the photo gallery up and running again, and one of the additions to it that we are having is old ticket stubs. If you have any old ticket stubs that you can scan somehow or decent quality photos, please email them to hahninator@sotrix.net - or you can reply to this thread with them. Upload them to our forums, upload them somewhere else and link them, send them by instant messenger, send them by email, send them by bird messenger, mail them to me, drive them to my house, whatever works for you, haha. Hahninator edit: Ok guys, back in 2007 when I first launched LPLive 2, I wanted ticket stubs. I posted all over the place and got quite a bit in my email. Thanks for those - I still have them all of course. We WILL be using them so if you have ticket stubs and did not send them in last time, now is the time to do it. We'll be posting them on the show pages, so as many as you can find and send in will be appreciated. Thanks! AndOne edit: I created a folder to upload all the stuff to the server (for the staff) to throw all the stuff together, and for you guys to browse around if you like to. Link: http://lplive.net/images/ticketstubs/ I did not rename the files to prevent multiple uploading of the same files, they need to be all organized at some point. Additionally you can also send in Posters and Flyers for live shows. Already got a couple of them here: http://lplive.net/images/posters_flyer LPU Meet & Greet wristbands, show wristbands (from the pit or anywhere else), anything like that from the show, we'll take it! Any Fort Minor stuff is GLADLY accepted - any Dead By Sunrise (haha, the Club Tattoo tickets or any other DBS shows) are welcome. Anything you have that is related to Linkin Park and a ticket, we'd love to have it!! So, just send in what you have!
  20. I agree with Mark, the only cd's I have bought really in the last 8 years are LP, but its not for lack of wanting to, I just can't really afford to buy all the albums I want. Eventually, my cd collection will start to grow again, when I am not staying home taking care of my children full time. Plus, I still plan on downloading the albums and listening to it in its entirety before I buy it, because if I only like one or two songs, I won't be wasting my money on it anyway.
  21. I would never buy anything from ebay that's supposedly *collectible* without asking one of the people here that's already into collecting LP stuff. I asked Nick about my cd before hand, and it was coming from a charity too, so that helped me out too
  22. I would like to get the Summer Sanitarium 03 San Francisco show. I had it, but the files got corrupted, and seeing as that was my first LP show I would really like to have it again. =) Doesn't really matter as to what weekend this is.
  23. I can't remember where I read it, but Live Nation is the promotion company for approximately 80 percent of the concert venues in the United States. This potentially could prove to be a huge problem for everyone interested in seeing live music. Great article from the Chicago Sun Times here: http://blogs.suntimes.com/derogatis/2009/0...ation_meet.html And Ticketmaster? haha. They have been a major rip off for years. (In Example: Pearl Jam vs. Ticketmaster.) http://www.thefreemanonline.org/featured/p...war-on-reaiity/ If this merger is approved, I can forsee ticket prices being raised anywhere from 25 to 50 percent higher then what we pay now. Ticket prices are already excessive. Fuck Ticketmaster.
