I can't wait for this album, that's going to be awesome. Santana is one of my all time favorite musicians.

I have two guesses as to what this is referring to, its either Time or Death. I'm leaning more towards time, but reading it over and over again, I'm sort of second guessing myself.

I still think the first song is going to have a Hindu influence, the elephant and the quotes are all leaning in that direction.

Don't know if any of this is useful, I was rambling to Mark on msn. well knowing what i do about the hindu religion, they worship the elephant *and theres what in the new lp video? *an elephant Mark says: *:-O *Scarlet* says: *and oppenheimers quote was something that he said reminded him of the hindu holy text *two quotes in particular *chapter 11 verses 12 and 32 *which talk about time being the great destroyer and the ultimate being. *and im totally rambling *but mike said something about it being rewarding, the answer *in the hindu religion, enlightenment is the ultimate reward

Ok, I'm the one who posted on LPA about the elephant being worshiped and the path to enlightenment. Also, Trinity is a religious concept in Christianity. You have to think on a large scale about what kind of reward Mike could be referring to. With all the religious overtones present so far, that could be where he is pointing us.

Ok, I'm a total nerd for probably even coming up with this. A lot of people are suggesting that it has something to do with space. In an early LP song, Dedicated, there's a line about a space odyssey monolith, which refers to the science fiction movies 2001: A space Odyssey and its sequel 2010. These movies center around a computer named H.A.L. and the evolution of man kind. Also a few weeks ago Mike mentioned that he and Brad were in the studio listening to Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. The main character in 2010 is a Doctor Heywood Floyd. I'm probably totally reaching here, but its a possibility that maybe they are doing something centered around the plot of these films?

When I go to the homepage it doesn't have the skin I selected, attached a photo of what it looks like, and it tells me to log in each time, and then automatically redirects me to the forum.

Right now the two sites are actually co-existing peacefully, so please refrain from making negative comments. Thank you.

When there's a thread like this that's so active it can lead to arguments easily. So yes, we read every single post.

Well if everyone learned to stay on topic it would be much better honestly. When we have pointless posts about the color of Adam's underwear and about tv shows that could go elsewhere on the board, it gets rather tedious. Plus we have to keep track of every other post that goes here.

While all of us appreciate the added traffic, its a lot of work for us mods and admin, we have to read every single post that's made here, and its been hours of reading non stop for some of us.

I agree, this is getting to be a lot to keep track of.

I don't know whats funnier, people asking Adam for details when he's not going to give them, or that Adam calls Mike Mr. Shinoda.

I definitely think it will be announced in a ustream chat, since Mike seems to enjoy doing those.

I am not expecting an announcement until late tonight Pacific time, I am sure they are going to drag it out as long as they can, just to make us drool some more.

I think about the only person who probably knows more than Astat about Linkin Park is Mark. He's well known in the fan community for a reason, and he's proven he deserves that recognition.
