  1. Arena tours ftw. I like them better anyway.
  2. Depends on what your definition of a good show is. Obviously a lot of stock goes into the lead singer, as he is the main voice you hear. If going by that, I have to say 2008 was worst. Songs like Leave Out All The Rest were cringe-worthy at times. His screams sounded very thin also. 2009 his singing started to improve a bit, especially during the DBS tour (except for that first performance of Into You, good lord. XD ) Yeah the first performance of New Divide was bad but it got better as time went on. 2010, Chester's singing sounds pretty on point. I'm pleasantly surprised. It seems like he's accepted that his voice isn't what it used to be and isn't trying to push it so hard anymore (bridge of Given Up, lowered key of The Messenger, etc.)
  3. This. I think if there is a setlist, it should be done exactly the way it shows on there. Same for songs like Jornada and Fallout.
  4. The Radiance (piano version)
  5. They're back in 2003-2009.
  6. I'm a fan of Chester's vocals on the album version of The Messenger, but the way they did it live an octave lower and with drums at the end sounds really beautiful.
  7. The laser show was one show. No one promised lasers for the tour.
  8. God damn it that was quick. How the hell was this predictable? You thought they would start with W&K? Bring back Papercut? Play The Messenger?
  9. Holy shit they actually did The Messenger.
  10. These two are the only ones that have a shot at making it, LPU admins confirmed that all demos are new, unheard songs. B-sides basically.
  11. Exactly.
  12. ree_ree asked if they were going to do anything for the HT anniversary. Joe said the anniversary has passed, so they missed it, and joked that ATS was the celebration. ......yeah.
  13. Good reason to be late.
  14. Is this starting now? Someone should post updates in here. It sucks we can't sign in with the LPUX pre-order until it actually launches. My LPU9 expired so I can't be in this chat. meh.
  15. Maybe Mike just doesn't realize that Decade Underground comes right when you pre-order. Maybe he thinks it'll be released which LPUX launches?
  16. LPUX seems to have like, put on a ninja costume and gone into hiding. Even the band doesn't know what's up. I remember at one of the pre-listening parties someone brought up Pretend To Be after it was released to the LPU pre-order people, and he had no idea we even knew about it, much less heard it.
  17. He kind of makes it sound like the only full song on the LPUX CD is Pretend To Be. Which would kind of really fuckin suck. XD
  18. I disagree with this. The Catalyst is not very good live at all. And I'm not talking about Chester hitting the notes or whatever, the energy and feel of the song just doesn't seem to translate to the live show.
  19. 1. Foreword --------------------- 2. Empty Spaces
  20. ...No. Not even.
  21. Oh, well if confirmation is the only thing keeping people from talking that's different. I guess just the way you worded it made it sound like Joe had no idea about anything having to do with LPUX.
  22. Does ANYONE know?
  23. Theeeee entire point of MOATS and Mike's post and When They Come For Me is kind of to say that they don't give a fuck about anyone else's expectations. And if they don't give a fuck about anyone else's expectations, what pressure is there?
  24. Yeah, I'm thinking he doesn't want to have a bunch of people going to over to that guys iTunes Ping or something and bashing the hell out of him. We'll see.
  25. He probably removed it because he called that iTunes guy out by name, but doesn't want to give him the attention.
