  1. Hey, guys! I have an interesting idea for a game. It's called 'Song knockout' and is based on sport single-elemination tournaments. So, I picked 64 of Linkin Park's songs. They include all the songs from the band studio releases (HT, Meteora, MTM, ATS, LT), as well as HTEP. I excluded the interludes, as well as Tinfoil (as it is basically the same as Powerless). I added New Divide (as a single) and No Roads Left and QWERTY as fan favorites. I'll be randomly picking 2 songs, which will battle one against the other. The one that receives more votes gets to the next round, the other one is eleminated. We're going to start with 32-finals, then 16-finals, then eighth-finals, quarter-finals, semi-finals, a third place match and a final. Rules: The first one (me) starts voting for all the matches this way: (Example) 1) Iridescent 1:0 Don't Stay 2) Somewhere I Belong 0:1 With You And so on. The second one goes like this, according to his choice: 1) Iridescent 2:0 Don't Stay 2) Somewhere I Belong 1:1 With You The third one adds another point, for example 3:0, 1:2 and so on. I guess you got the idea. The only rule is that you have to vote for every single match - you can't have a tie. Even if you love both songs - pick the one you like more. When some times passes, I'll call the end of the round and post the matches for the next one. I'll wait for an odd number of people to vote, so we don't have any ties in the matches. 32-finals 1) When They Come For Me 0:1 The Little Things Give You Away 2) Victimized 0:1 Numb 3) From The Inside 0:1 Runaway 4) One Step Closer 0:1 High Voltage 5) And One 0:1 Breaking The Habit 6) Wretches And Kings 0:1 Don't Stay 7) Pushing Me Away 1:0 I'll Be Gone 8) Waiting For The End 1:0 Nobody's Listening 9) Shadow of the Day 1:0 Hit The Floor 10) Lies Greed Misery 1:0 Step Up 11) Castle of Glass 1:0 Given Up 12) Valentine's Day 1:0 Easier To Run 13) Burn It Down 0:1 Carousel 14) Wake 0:1 Figure.09 15) No Roads Left 1:0 Skin To Bone 16) The Catalyst 1:0 Powerless 17) A Place For My Head 1:0 Hands Held High 18) What I've Done 0:1 Forgotten 19) Part of Me 1:0 Blackout 20) No More Sorrow 1:0 Session 21) QWERTY 1:0 Burning In The Skies 22) In Pieces 1:0 Somewhere I Belong 23) Points of Authority 1:0 Bleed It Out 24) Roads Untraveled 1:0 New Divide 25) In Between 0:1 Iridescent 26) In The End 1:0 Lying From You 27) Until It Breaks 0:1 By Myself 28) With You 1:0 In My Remains 29) Leave Out All The Rest 0:1 The Messenger 30) Lost In The Echo 1:0 Crawling 31) Robot Boy 1:0 Cure For The Itch 32) Papercut 1:0 Faint
  2. Yeah, Rick producing Linkin Park music always appeals to me. Not that I was impressed by Living Things, but it's definitely not his fault lol. I love how he changed the way the band writes music and MTM and ATS are incredible records. Hope their next record is at least as remarkable as those two.
  3. Yeah, Dave uses a slightly different strumming pattern. And when Brad and Chester play this song, they mute the first (highest) string, while Dave doesn't.
  4. So 4 of my most favorite bands (Linkin Park, Metallica, Blink, Offspring) are playing on the same festival and I only get to see two of them? That would suck.
  5. I'm not Astat, but I would guess that it's just because of Mike. I mean Camp Freddy already have two guitarists, but Mike also takes part in the song. Just shouting two lines during these 3 minutes would be kind of dull if he didn't play the guitar.
  6. As far as I remember, it's a bit shorter. They cut something after the second chorus or something like that.
  7. Voted for Across The Line & What We Don't Know, but I wouldn't consider them demos - these are finished b-sides. By the way, Under Attack is fake.
  8. Wasn't something along the lines of 'The Fog' mentioned to be the demo name for BITS?
  9. (8) Faint vs. (5) Waiting For The End (31) The Little Things Give You Away vs. (35) Don't Stay
  10. (17) Across The Line vs. (8) Faint (13) Leave Out All The Rest vs. (5) Waiting For The End (31) The Little Things Give You Away vs. (39) In Pieces (35) Don't Stay vs. (6) Bleed It Out The last match is terrible lol. Can't believe one of these two songs will make it to the top 4.
  11. (1)In The End vs. (17)Across The Line (24)Blackout vs. (8)Faint (4)One Step Closer vs. (13)Leave Out All The Rest (12)A Place For My Head vs. (5)Waiting For The End (31)The Little Things Give You Away vs. (18)Papercut (23)With You vs. (39)In Pieces (35)Don't Stay vs. (14)Given Up (22)Wretches And Kings vs. (6)Bleed It Out
  12. So you're saying you have anything different than the low quality rip we all have?
  13. 'Stadion Chernomorets', which translated in English means 'Chernomorets Stadium'.
  14. Not really, it was supposed to end at 8:06, every LPTV ends with these animations. And then, after the end, came the colored part, so yeah, they're pretty much clear that this is the end of the ATS cycle.
  15. Yep, I was really surprised, just clicking escape to stop the fullscreen and seeing that this was actually not the ending. Pretty obvious that next LPTV episode will not be from the ATS era, hope this means we are soon getting some info on LP5.
  16. I'm actually curious, what part of Reanimation was written by Linkin Park? I mean, apart from the lyrics and melodies from HT. Did the dudes who remixed the songs do most of the stuff or Linkin Park were heavily involved in the process, too?
  17. 1. A-Six (Original Long Version) 2. QWERTY (Live) 3. Dedicated 4. Carousel 5. Slip 6. Part Of Me 7. And One 8. Blue 9. My December 10. Across The Line 11. What We Don't Know
  18. I'm on 'Program' and fuckin' love the prominent bass lines so far! The whole thing sounds badass.
  19. Well, they usually say that people in the crowd expect to hear their more famous songs (in other words - singles) and there's a small amount of hardcores who know the songs we want to hear. But it's different today, I believe that most of the people there are pretty hardcore to raise all this money and it's a small crowd, so there isn't a better place to please all the people that want to hear something new (old actually xD) in the setlists. Hope they play something interesting. : )
  20. Umm... really? Don't get me wrong, ATS is still my favorite Linkin Park record, but the only song I'd call 'rock' out of these is The Catalyst - and even it is disputable.
