Even though Linkin Park's 'Waiting For The End' hasn't been released as a single yet, it has already found its place in Billboard's Rock and Alternative songs charts. It debuts at #40 in the 'Rock songs' chart and at #37 in the 'Alternative songs' chart. Their first single from 'A Thousand Suns', 'The Catalyst', remains at #1 in 'Alternative songs', while it has finally lost it's first place in 'Rock songs', owning to 'Another Way To Die' by Disturbed. As much as I love this song, I think it's a bit boring live. Chester's performance was awesome, though. Maybe the bad mixing is the problem, you can't hear the crowd anywhere during the song.

Okay, this song deserves a topic. I don't know what's with all these people hating it, but I do believe it's one of the two best songs in ATS (together with Iridescent), as well as one of the best Linkin Park songs ever. The whole mix of soft acoustic guitar parts and rough vocals is just incredible. The lyrics are awesome and I can't believe what message the band managed to leave us in just 3 minutes. The perfect song to conclude the perfect album. What do you think of it?

It's a must-listen, do it. xD Anyway, I love the guitar work, but the vocal line is way overproduced. It sounds worse than Chester's actual voice, no need for that.

I can't explain how much I love it. If the song is as good as this short snippet, it's definitely one of the best Linkin Park songs ever.

He never actually said that the elephant was in the video. Ana asked him and he answered that a movie was being shot at a studio next to the studio where "The Catalyst" was recorded. That's where the elephant came from. xD

It's the radio edit.

It's an okay video, but not my favorite - it's kind of boring and monotone at some time. And radio edit is a major disappointment too, but if there was one more minute of the same monotonous thing - no, thanks. Maybe I'll like it more after I watch it a few more times, but they've done several better videos imo. EDIT: Okay, I like it more after watching it again, but it definitely didn't have the same effect on me as I watched WID for the first time.
