I actually like this a lot better than Crawl Back In. Awesome that Chester just put the song out like that.

I was one of the people that thought the change from the 08 version of the song to the 09 version was just unnecessary, but this is still good.

Love this song

this album will be awesome

I listened fire the most now since that song has a personal meaning to me

but I think this will become #2 soon xD

100% agree. Saw these songs live twice and I can definitely say they're much better live. Overproduced for sure in the studio. Howard Benson fail, lol.

you're absolutely right mark, and in additional I think the stuff we've heared from "let down" is a bit overproduced too, I don't like those high voices they put over chesters vocals in some songs..though the songs are really awesome!!

It's good but the 08 version was so much better.

I actually have to agree with you for once.

This version is good but the 08 version just blows it away. It's cool to have 3 songs from the upcoming album but I feel like I've listened to these 3 songs like 1000000 times already because I've been listening to the live rips for months. I think Chester should have chosen a different producer than Howard Benson too. At first, I cut the guy some slack on CBI and Fire, but now, I'm not so sure that I like the direction that he took the vocals. The music is fine with what I've heard so far, but the vocals aren't so great. I guess I like the more raw style vocals that LP used on MTM. Then again, Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin are much better producers than Howard Benson so...

I think Chester should have just produced this album himself. Obviously, his vocal style works better with a more raw sound than the over-produced. The only time that someone's vocals sounds better over-produced is when the person can't sing, IMO. For example, take the acoustic version of Let Down from 2005. Listen to how amazing he sounds compared to how he sounds in the clip we've heard of the studio version from one of the DBSTV's.

nice song, but this sounds awesome live, less in studio ;)

That's what everyone said regarding "Qwerty." "Qwerty" i agree is better live but for "My Suffering," i say both are equally just as good. But the underlying point is it's a testament to how great a singer Chester is. ;)

The drumming is the best part of this song. I was just driving around blaring it, I had my bass all the way up, plus I have bose speakers in my car and people were freaking out.

fail :P

Yep, I'm really surprised how good and innovative the drumming in the DBS songs is. JK has computer-programmed beats most of the time so I didn't know what Elias is really capable of. :o

Lyrics anyone?

My Suffering

I've reached the end

And I don't know what I believe in anymore

There's something crazy

Running wild inside my brain

I've seen the truth become my lie

Bury my shame, swallow my pride

I've crossed the line and I know there's no turning back

You kissed away all of my pain

You washed away these bloody stains

You are to blame my suffering

My, my, my suffering

You kissed away all of my pain

You washed away these bitter stains

You are to blame my suffering

My, my, my suffering

I've seen the devil in a smile

I found salvation in a vile

My happy ending

Exists only in my dreams

You kissed away all of my pain

You washed away these bloody stains

You are to blame my suffering

My, my, my suffering

You kissed away all of my pain

You washed away these bitter stains

You are to blame my suffering

My suffering

You kissed away all of my pain

You washed away these bloody stains

You are to blame my suffering

My, my, my suffering

You kissed away all of my pain

You washed away these bitter stains

You are to blame my suffering

You kissed away all of my pain

You washed away these bloody stains

You are to blame my suffering

My, my, my suffering

My, my, my suffering

My, my, my suffering

Fixed: Thanks JanekZech & Krylon

It's a great idea for those who don't have that privilege of listening to as many as we can't wait!

Yeah, let's take a recording device to a secret listening party in a WB office...
