  1. Some TV broadcasts are givens for when they couldn't swear (Ex. Bleed It Out on SNL in 07 and WTCFM in 2010)
  2. Yeah a hybrid verse could work since he's done them already, but it might confuse him to do half of There They Go and immediately do half of High Voltage, for example.
  3. I think he said High Voltage was too fast to do, and someone asked for him to play RME ( probably as part of the medley) and he jusy did it over BIO intro
  4. If UIG live is from Carnivores and it is the abridged 2 minute version, so help me God...
  5. Predictions for Mike's solo: Skin To Bone Rmx
  6. Set A VERSION FIVE tonight. A PLACE FOR MY FUCKING HEAD?!
  7. http://lplive.net/shows/db/mikeshinoda/20070817M while we are on the topic of Mike Solo shows, the notes should say "may very well be true".
  8. Yeah his new stuff is actually good and I don't have to defend it like his old soloing. What he's done with What I've Done (pun intended) is great, and they need extended solos on other songs like UIG.
  9. Are you doing videos? Because if so, proshots would be best.
  10. Watching Making of MTM and saw a seed titled "Get what I deserve". I can't tell if it was a full song or remained a seed.
  11. There was another older thread about RME as a sort of history lesson, would it be better just to add this to that?
  12. But some are greater than others.
  13. Numb. ETR is a great song, fuck haterzzzz
  14. Wouldn't Set A_V5 just likely be replacing V4 at this point? It's just one extra song that makes it different. And still no setlist, but ending with APFMH is not a good idea. It would be great while the song is going, but as it ends, it just abruptly goes out, like Astat was saying, even with a longer outro. I'm still a fan of BIO or OSC closing, largely for the fact that they have the droning guitars at the end so you don't end the concert in awkward silence. APFMH would need pyro or some really good modifications to the outro to serve as the final song. And Mike's instagram video looks like they ended with BIO with the sustained guitar feedback playing. I could be wrong, but it wasn't APFMH tonight,
  15. I don't know whether to facepalm or laugh hysterically. Other random fact: Phoenix originally played guitar until he was asked to switch to bass when he joined Tasty Snax/The Snax.
  16. I'd rather have them open the encore with APFMH. It was an awesome show opener during the LT tours, and got the crowd ready for the show. This tour is good with the mashup intro, even though GATS after it isn't very spectacular. Adding APFMH as the encore opener would make the encore much better (then again, throwing an LP playlist on shuffle for 5 songs would make it better as well at this point). As a show closer, I'm hoping it has something new to it to end the nights.
  17. I don't remember where I read it, but I heard that Linkin Park's 2011 performance of "When They Come For Me" on Saturday Night Live was the first black-and-white musical performance in the show's history.
  18. Yeah I've noticed that more on recent shows. Audiences have been muted on a lot of their recent webcasts it seems, which is bad for when they are trying to show the aggressive music in a live format.
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5NyxyPIVrU Sonisphere 2009 begs to fucking differ.
  20. For Mike's Solo woth Remember The Name, could we just call it a "hybrid verse"? I saw someone call the Until It's Gone verse that for the Carnivores Tour since it goes 1st half of v1 and 2nd half of v2. Mike does something similar for RTN, right? So would that at least give it a better name than the longer explanation? If so, I think it would apply both to any of Mike's RTN verses and also UIG.
  21. The Making of UIG had some insight into the meaning and details of the video. This one did not. Way too short to provide us with anything substantial about it. As for the good things about it, Rob gets to talk about the video instead of Mike for once, Phoenix having fun as usual, it shows that Brad was still dealing with his back injury during the filming, and these are coming out rather frequently.
