The note about SIB debuting on this tour should say "for the first time" instead of "first the first time". This setlist is a lot better than Set A. If they used the encore the European tour with UIG in full and the intros and transitions, it would be near perfect

How have the 30STM setlists been lately? I was only a fan of ABL and a few other big singles for recent years, and I guess the other night The Kill was the only song that wasn't off their last two albums.

The majority of the 30STM videos that I have seen of them live have been proshots or TV broadcasts, so they must have been edited to make it seem better than you all are making them out to be. One thing I do like about their performances, though, is when Jared brings many fans up to the stage to sing on Kings and Queens.

The only thing that is good about shortening UIG is that it skips one instance of Chester repeating "you don't know what you've got" before what would be the first chorus. But the whole song builds, and this just makes it the Living Things version of the song.

The show is very good, watched most of it the other day. POA is a highlight for sure.

Did Chester get hurt AT the show, or before? If it were before, that could have been the reason, but he was able to go out to addres the crowd during the break. How was Brad? His back injury could have been having complications.

I am going to go with Jim on this, does anyone know exactly how long ago that chat with him was? If there were 3 at the time, that could have changed. But I can't imagine LP doing only one setlist for the entire tour, when it is the "big one" of this cycle up to this point. Even the band would get tired of doing the same order for all of these shows.

I'm waiting to see videos, but so far I like the previous setlist, even if it went unchanged for that whole tour, for the most part. I was hoping for them to add more THP songs (and carnivorous songs) to that setlist and drop things like Runaway, Crawling, Ballad Medley, and other things that are holding them back, nut instead we got this. I didn't even like some of the songs in Act III of the last setlisr, but it flowed together so well that I couldn't hate it. From the extended intro for UIG into songs this site hates like Crawling and New Divide, it was still very well placed. Who knows, maybe there were some difficulties for this show and they decided that it would be better to drop those songs,

Will this be earlier than when they typically play shows? Id tney are going through a refular setlist, would it have to be earlier to make sure they can have extra time for replaying songs?

I hope that Chester Brad and Mike all play guitar on it, that way Mike can do the synth parts in the breakdown along with Joe and it will give the guitars some heavy texture to it. I was actually hoping they would add ALITS (what I think is possibly their best song) or maybe All For Nothing or War, but this is all right, as long as they debut more songs as the tours progress (Europe, South America). I jst hope that they get it to work out and it doesn't take several shows to sound halfway decent.

Disappointing set when we were expecting FM at the least, but they do have a point in making it a heavy mini-set. Throw in something like APFMH, WTCFM, or most songs from THP and you have the foundation of the Carnivores setlists. But for that tour there will obviously be some soft classics in it. Probably gonna get what we have had for the last tour with more of THP songs.

Anyone know what time they play? I'm on the East Coast so I'm hoping they are on before 8 on the West Coast

Whatever the final song is from the setlist, it clearly has some note to it, like an extension or somethng of the sort. Mike's picture has his keyboard and samplers getting ready for the new songs, so piano is used on at least Final Masquerade. There is some piano in ALITS so that could be used too, I don't know what samples Mike would be triggering on songs that he has prominent vocals in anyway, like AFN or Rebellion. Rebellion also has some synth part in the bridge, but that may be a guitar with effects on it.

I'm not completely sure what you are saying here. Mike means they will play 2 NEW songs. They wouldn't drop GATS, UIG, and Wastelands and use 5 different songs from THP.

If they play Drawbar before FM, the best choice would be as a transition from WID. It has been done for Numb and this would work because WID is in G Minor and FM is in C Minor which would work well. The Iridescent portion from the Ballad Medley is in A Minor which would sound bad to transition. Plus by moving it after WID, it will place it at the end of the main set or in the encore. I think Drawbar could happen especially since it is rumored that Tom Morello may join them for a few shows in England later. I don't know about the other song but I'm hoping for A Line In The Sand.

That explains a bit anout Brad from that show when he was pretty inactive. Which show exactly was it, so they can add a show note to it. I know one of those shows had Brad sitting down when he played the WID solo. And how exactly did he hurt his back? That show could have been tricky with the new guitar tech. Glad to see that Rob was enthusiastic about the album, especially since he had shown so much power on it.
