I can confirm this as fact.
  2. Thread closed. This is about as old news as you can get at this point.

I have to disagree. The overwhelming tone of the feedback about bazinga! has been negative for years, except the opinions of those who run the site. Strange though that nearly every site owner or admin venture out onto other LP fansites except for bazinga!'s. Maybe because of the negative feedback they know they'll get? I'm sure they're around, just not actively posting. I think it's a sadder state of affairs that undue pressure is put on other fansites to do the right thing - not allowing official materials for the most part - while these guys get away with pretty much whatever they want with the vague explanation of a difference in US vs. Russian law. While I know it would never happen, all it would take would be a comment on Mike's part on his blog about what they've done over the years... Public embarrassment at that level might do wonders for what they offer and sell on their site without the threat of lawyers getting involved.

  6. Back in the day, yes. Before the change to the site, that place was a shell of its former self much like the LPUMB is now.
  7. Actually, that was post-PR08 and they assumed there would be a PR09. Just like it's a big assumption in this thread that there'll be a PR10 this year.
  8. Well, except that one thing... You know... that thing with the added parts and missing that other stuff? As for how much I've got... I'm up there with Mark, between official stuff, fan recordings, DSPs, etc I'm up over 300GB on my PC and external HDD with some other stuff archived on DVD-Rs.
  9. You just gave all of the details that anyone knows, with the exception of Mike Shinoda and Mark Wakefield. To my knowledge, Mike has never addressed it other than saying that he and Mark are still friends and work together from time to time.
  10. Thanks, but this has long been speculated...
  11. That'd be great! Been ages since I lost it. If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and walks like a duck, I'm calling it a demo. Understandably, remixes are a different monster, though I'm inclined in this case to still classify it as a demo as it's from the same person/people who produced the final track. Any work that went unused for the final is inherently going to be called a demo by under the circumstances. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=96N8PQU5
  12. I've got dozens I've made myself. Thanks for the tip though. We have no idea what version of Crawling it may be, considering the last ringtone was previously unreleased before.
  13. Tried several times and it only sends me the previously released ringtone (Brad's Yo) Will try again later
  14. You're alive!!!!!!
  15. Funny, but haven't you in essence defined it as a demo by your description? Just remember - By Myself from the Raw Power promo, Mike's vocal track was different than the final track; Untitled was completely redone from top to bottom for the most part to become In The End; Now I See varies only slightly from With You in regards to the mix - and all of these are commonly classified as demos for the same exact reasons you've denied this track to be a 'demo'.
  16. Excellent find. Well worth having gotten a message to get me out of bed to move this to the newswire for all to see.
  17. Sorry guys, but we can't allow links to this stuff. Falls under the same category as multitrack rips in our media rules.
  18. I didn't want to piss on anyone's parade, but a show like that doesn't change hands and just disappear, ya know? Especially for a 4 figure price tag. Particularly frustrating that many of the people who claimed to have info on it back then were and still are less than trustworthy or have just plain disappeared over the years.
  19. Necro-posting much?
  20. A fellow collector who owned it accidentally sat on the CD, breaking it in half. To this day, it still hurts him to talk about it.
  21. Info of the SOAD show is nothing new and many of us have explored every avenue to see if Xero may have been taped but we've never found any proof that they were - at least by the same crew who taped the SOAD set. As for that VHS on eBay, that was years ago and no reliable proof has ever surfaced that it was what it claimed to be. The setlist that circulated after was never 100% confirmed and neither the buyer nor the seller ever came forward with further info. Sad, but I think this may be one of those shows that we'll never get even if it does actually exist.
  22. I do. Tell me - why did you remove the image from your post if you feel you did nothing wrong and weren't trolling? You know the one where the kid is sitting in the hallway looking dejected with the header saying 'I'm going to go listen to Linkin Park'. You having edited it out of your post doesn't remove it from my memory.
  23. Ok. Here's the deal - This is a Linkin Park fansite, not some general music site. Say something negative about the band, people are going to want to defend. Keep up posting shit like this and I will remove you from the site for trolling. Got it?
  24. Let's put it this way (as AndOne has pointed out in a previous post) - They're going to need SOME people to purchase them to make it worth their while to continue posting new shows. At the end of the day, if no one buys them because we're all pissed off that we can't post links to them, then we all lose out when they no longer release them.
  25. Fair warning - requests like this will not be allowed. We realize this was allowed in the past but as we cannot share the DSPs here, we can't allow public requests for links via PM.
