  1. I think your post contains a hidden message. Give me a couple of days to work it out.
  2. And with this, your days of posting here at LPL are finished. You've said your part, you joined here to get yourselves noticed and you've certainly done that. I'm not going to have this go any further.
  3. Linkin Park wants to put you on their new album with their “Linkin Park, Featuring YOU” contest. Unfortunately, not everyone is eligible. So we’ve once again teamed up with LP Underground, LPAssociation.com and LPTimes.com for another big giveaway. Because not everyone is eligible for the official “Linkin Park, Featuring YOU” contest on MySpace, we’re giving those fans that are ineligible for the official contest and chance to win with us and get some recognition for their hard work. The rules are simple: the ONLY people who can enter this contest are the fans who are ineligible for the official contest (you’re not 18, your country isn’t eligible, etc.). You can only enter on ONE of the fansites hosting this contest. At the end of voting on July 21, one winner from each site will get a Linkin Park prize pack and will be go up against the other winners in a final voting, the winner of which will receive a Linkin Park Reanimation plaque! Instructions: Leave a link to your song in the replies by 11:59 PM ET on July 18. Please do not embed any videos or streams. LINKS ONLY! Voting will begin on July 20 for 24 hours. You can only enter on one of the fansites (LPLive.net, LPAssociation.com, LPTimes.com). Be sure to check out the OFFICIAL “Linkin Park, Featuring YOU” contest here. Linkin Park’s new single “The Catalyst” comes out August 2 with the new album A Thousand Suns following on September 14. Rules: The official contest rules apply in terms of how the remix has to be made. Please include your age and country of residence too, so we can identify everyone properly, or your submission may not be considered!
  4. Tickets for the 11/10/2010 show are on sale! Get them while they're available.
  5. We've had many others posting several works in progress. If I went through and deleted duplicated posts or consolidated submissions by user into just one of their posts, this thread would be nowhere near the length it is.
  6. Why, exactly? Isn't most of what's posted there going to be redundant to what we post in the newswire and on the forums?
  7. The man has spoken. Don't do it!
  8. Everyone's entitled to their opinions. Outside the confines of the LP community, the overwhelming feeling is that LP are worth nothing. Again, opinions. But, to me, those opinions are worth less than nothing.
  9. During the ustream chat, Mike said that any samples had to be original creations, can't even sample other LP tracks.
  10. A lot of people 'blamed' Don Gilmore and Rick Rubin's efforts on all 3 albums. Only time will tell if the same will happen to Rubin with ATS, but as a gambling man I'll say that there are going to be a lot of negative comments lobbed his way as it sounds as if there'll be some new elements. Everyone still wants to hear LP circa 1999-2000. I agree 100% with you - at the end of the day, it's LP's work and they could have just as easily parted ways with him if they didn't stand by the work he's done.
  11. As soon as we get some images and ideas for the color scheme, we'll have one. Until then, patience. We can't have a blank theme that just says 'A Thousand Suns' at the top.
  12. Sure. But it'll be mostly blank for now.
  13. Linkin Park On New Album 'A Thousand Suns,' Tour Band reunites with Rick Rubin for September LP Link to article HERE. Alternatively, this can be found on MSNBC HERE as well as other sites, I'm sure. Thanks to dazednnumb and shinoda194 for the links.
  14. ...and begging for full versions will hold up the NEXT album?
  15. It wore out after a few viewings for me. And I'm usually all for behind the scenes stuff.
  16. And that's different from...?
  17. Wow, he's satisfied! At least until the next thing rolls out, whatever it may be...
  18. That's the last thing we'd ever do. Get that shit out to the people!
  19. Myles Kennedy is holding up the new album.
  20. Yeah. I think we all managed to talk him out of that one, at least at the time. I can't be sure that he won't end up selling it at some point though. Sometimes ya gotta make hard decisions.
  21. I did anyway, just because you mention his name.
  22. It's Sal. I recognize the account.
  23. Looking forward to it.
