Since that we've announced the winner of the ticket to the NYC show next week, now is an opportune time to tell you that we've got another giveaway brewing. This one will be announced the night of the album release show and will be open to all users, including those of you outside the US. Feel free to guess as to what we're going to give away this time... But I doubt you'll figure it out.

Agreed, to an extent. It's like walking into an electronics store, buying a TV and then you drop it while attempting to mount it on your wall. They're not going to give you a replacement based on your carelessness. Not that you can really draw a parallel between a TV and these shows, but it's the same no matter what the product is. How long ago were the shows purchased? They might be a bit lenient if it was truly recent, but anything past a week and you might be out of luck.

Unless you get an response from support, you might be out of luck. If you take some initiative, you should be able to find them again somewhere out on the net. Not that we'd ever support that kind of thing.

Firstly - The somewhat secret Abu Dhabi show that was rumored earlier this week has now been officially confirmed. Thanks to Adam for confirmation on this one. As reported before, the show will be November 13 in conjunction with the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Second - A quick reminder to our users that if you've not replied to enter in our contest for a ticket to the 9/14 show HERE, you need to ASAP. Third - Anyone want to go to the LA laser event? First 5 people who respond in this thread who can go and want them will receive a pair of tickets. A further 5 people will be chosen at random for a pair of tickets. Many, many thanks go out to Adam and LPHQ for this one.

If that were the prize, I'd purposely rig it so that I won it!

A giveaway? Didn't we just do one of those AND the fansite remix contest? When will enough be enough? Oh, that's right, it won't be. We'll just keep doing stuff like this to raise the bar.

Not everything we do will be a hit with everyone. I'd probably suggest giving a few of these a shot, even if you're not into collecting all of them, you're bound to find a new favorite. We've always prided ourselves on high quality releases. That'll never change. For the above reason, we decided against radio/streaming it's more a quality thing for us.

You already had a turn! Serg - If no one suitable contacts me by next Sunday, it's all yours. I'd like to give non-staff a chance though.

Where do you think we got the idea? Mark helped put that site together. Samples of nearly everything we've offered so far are on each individual show page as linked in each post. I've got one. It crapped out the first week I attempted to use it for RotW and I'm superstitious about going back to it. If there's truly a need *cough* like next weekend *cough* it'll be put to use. These are the kind of responses that are appreciated (and will be appreciated by future uploaders).

Download links are being posted on our main page and can easily be passed on elsewhere. It's not necessary for people to register on the site to access them so it's pretty anonymous when people are downloading.

We've now got a good number of Recordings of the Week out there and some feedback is needed. What do you guys think? Is it worthwhile for us to continue? There have been into the thousands of downloads (1500+ as of last week on megaupload files alone) but very few people are posting in the threads compared to the number of downloaders. We need to know what you think! Responses can be a 'Thanks' or 'I already have this one but thanks anyway' or 'This one sucks, why did you make me waste my bandwidth?'. We don't care what you say but WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU. A volunteer is needed to handle uploading and posting duties for the last week in August as I'll be traveling. For those interested in helping out - Even if you aren't chosen for that week, I'd like to get a list going of people who are willing to contribute a show or shows. PM/email/IM me and I'll see what I can do about setting up a schedule of downloads and guest uploaders. And finally... There's something special planned for the RotW next week, so keep an eye out on Friday, Saturday AND Sunday for a number of downloads. That's all that will be said on this until then.

All in a days work. Or a night, really. Whatever. Glad we could help, even if we had no idea why we were doing it.

Don't forget the watermarking of stuff that wasn't their own to begin with, the outright bootlegging of official materials and general lack of decency. Sweet, wet kisses to them.

95% of people here know that the tracks will be available elsewhere on torrent sites, rapidshare, megaupload, etc. If anyone wants to test us, yes - There will be repercussions for mentions of sites where official tracks are available. We know this stuff is going to get out other than the being sold. We're just asking that people don't do it here.
