Radio edits are nothing new and not limited to LP tracks by any means. I've heard some truly awful edits to songs over the years... Not to mention the one local station would would play all tracks at a slightly faster rate than normal so that they could squeeze in an additional commercial per hour.

Yeah, that's good. Throw other people's work under a bus - that'll get yours noticed for sure. Just ask DangerSilent how that worked out here for them. Thing is, I don't think it'll simply come down to the votes. I think many entries will be reviewed, regardless of where they finish in the vote because any vote like this is going to be flawed.
