  1. Until we get official confirmation, we'll not be reporting release date rumors including those of Brazilian, European, American or any other origin. Thread closed.
  2. Don't worry about me felipe. I'm fake. Remember?
  3. That's been the point the whole time. They can post whatever they want on their own site, yet there's the issue of being fixated on trying to post here to get creditability or something. Report the news to your 40,000 fans as you see fit on your site and we'll report ours as we see fit here.
  4. Then by all means, go back to your site and your 40,000 people and ignore the negative posts here.
  5. I'm tired of the constant cries from you guys over this one. For years, we've heard rumors from secret Brazilian sources about shows or releases and nothing ever comes to fruition yet no one ever comes back to explain afterward. Now that you were right on the South American tour dates, you expect everyone to put you up on a pedestal for getting something right? And pretty much everyone is guessing a mid-September album release, so the Brazilian source is probably right and it's not exactly news until the band confirms a release date. If you're looking for sympathy here, you'll not get it. Learn to accept the fact that people are going to react negatively to rumors, it's just how it is.
  6. I've gotta agree here but at the same time, I can't say I'm a fan of the idea in general. We all saw what happened with lpmedia when it shut down - anywhere links were posted to shows hosted there were instantly dead. Add to that the fact that LPL routinely offers downloads as well as having 2 forums dedicated to show requests and offers... Well, I won't be signing up anytime soon.
  7. Was gonna offer you my unwrapped one for $5K.
  8. This happened at quite a few shows back then, there are a number of audience sourced DVDs showing where they pulled a fan on stage (Nashville, Toronto, Colorado Springs, etc.) I just don't see it happening again... Though it would be cool if they did.
  9. Only when you hold it a certain way.
  10. Just teasing. That, and bonus points for the Droid.
  11. He don't know me very well, do he?
  12. Unwrapped vs wrapped/sealed.
  13. Band name fail + grammar fail =
  14. It's not just that. The banners themselves are not the same size as the current images at the top of the site. Either all of them would have to be resized, stretched and crop to fit somehow or we would have to totally scrap what was done for 4.0 and go back to the previous site. Given the amount of work done, the addition of the ACP as well as a number of selectable themes, I just don't see rotating banners as a viable option at this time.
  15. And with this post, it seems you have multiple accounts, Colin. Please let me know which you want to keep - this one or the currently suspended one (coliinreiid).
  16. How about 1.0 instead, with all of the txt files instead of show pages? Is that something you'd be interested in?
  17. Calling bullshit on the Lebanese buyer. If so, we would have been shit out of luck when it comes to things like the Plaster CD or She Couldn't. No one's buying LP stuff like this other than LP fans, guaranteed. Seller probably lowered his price because he got word of this thread calling the price insane and, if he had gotten a $5000 offer, then why not set a reserve on the auction? As it stands, the initial bid of $1500 will win it.
  18. No offense to you, as you seem pretty new to trading... But you can't expect that people are just going to hand over things to you because you ask. I know we've set a precedent here at LPL with some of the shows we've shared over the years, but not everyone has the same outlook and to be quite honest, even we can't upload everything we've got because we need something of 'value' for later trades. Patience is a virtue. It took more than 5 years for us to get ahold of the Mountain View 2004 audio, 7 years for the Kings College DVD source and countless others that take time to circulate. You'll drive yourself nuts if you're just running around screaming 'I want this, I want that'.
  19. Too true. There's even remixes of remixes at this point.
  20. Fine, I get it first and then I'll send it to Mark who'll send it back to me, etc. **EDIT TO ADD** There's precedent here, no doubt. UMG took an eBay seller to court a couple of years back for selling promo CDs but the court ruled against the label because the promo CDs were given out freely and even the 'not for resale' disclaimers failed to be held up. However, it would be quite naive to think something like this CD would have passed hands without an NDA or some other contract or agreement having been signed which carries completely different implications than a promo CD.
  21. Oh sure. Then who gets the CD?
  22. If I had the disposable cash to pull it off, I'd bid just to watch him shit himself when I won.
  23. Quoted in case you delete or edit and someone wants to take you up on the offer.
  24. Video is more than easily handled via youtube and most people prefer going that route. If we could do it better in-house, I'm all for it except for one small, minor, insignificant detail... By my count, I've got at least 1TB of audio and video data and a 250GB/month bandwidth limit from my ISP, so if I did nothing but upload, it would take me 4 months to get everything online. At least.
