  1. Who's the guy on the second chorus that goes "Come on motherfuckers!" and then sings I won't be ignored?
  2. Figure.09 / From the Inside.
  3. Mike stays on keyboard for all of New Divide, correct?
  4. I've listened to the Charlotte one A LOT, since that was my first LP show. I listened to the Dallas show for the first time the other day and noticed it immediately.
  5. Why does everyone still think the new album is gonna sound like Blackbirds and Not Alone? They were Minutes to Midnight demos!
  6. Phoenix just tweeted about the tour too. "Tour dates are starting to come together... More to follow soon! http://ning.it/97h1LU"
  7. Okay, listen to Breaking the Habit from the 8/04/07 Dallas, TX show. Now listen to Breaking the Habit from the 8/08/07 Charlotte, NC show. Notice anything similar? It's the exact same performance! At the very beginning you can clearly hear the same exact guy in the crowd yell "Fuck yeah!", and the crowd trying to clap along to the intro. Right after the intro kicks into the song, Chester does the exact same hum. During the bridge, Chester adds a "No" to the line "I'll never fight again". After the song, Chester says thank you, and you can hear someone in the crowd yell "Play Step Up!". Listen to both of them yourself, I swear they are the exact same thing, up until Mike starts talking, which is on the Dallas show.
  8. I always thought BTH was one of their most popular songs...
  9. The majority of venues that LP play seem to have curfews.
  10. That's what I'm talking about.
  11. From his twitter: "Anyone have any good ideas for album titles?" http://twitter.com/phoenixlp Does this mean the new album is almost done?? One can hope!
  12. Best: Hybrid Theory EP, 4.0 and 9.0 Worst: 7.0 The first one speaks for itself, 4.0 had the sick PR 04 tracks, and I don't even have to explain 9.0.
  13. As stated earlier, yes there are other old school songs that LP plays, but Papercut is the FIRST track off their FIRST album.
  14. Oh yeah, and to every single one of you that helped put this together....THANK YOU! This is truly amazing. Question though, are the winners chosen completely randomly, or is there some kind of judging? Sorry if this was addressed earlier.
  15. Got one non-personal and one personal. 1. There's a moment during Crawling on Live In Texas, where they show a really big, shaved head dude with a Metallica shirt on, singing every word to the song. And I mean he's singing that song PASSIONATELY. This has always been one of my favorite Linkin Park moments, seeing that they can bring together all different kinds of people and have them all sing these words I've memorized and sang countless times myself. It shows to me how universal LP's message is. 2. While I actually met the band at Projekt Revolution 08, I have to say that my experience at Projekt Rev 07 was my favorite. This was before I had joined the LPU or knew of sites such as this, so I had no idea what to expect from LP's setlist. I was going crazy with excitement. The second those lights went out, the place blew up. I was going nuts, so excited to see my favorite band of all time. I never in a million years thought they would open with No More Sorrow, but as soon as I recognized it I flipped out. The curtain flying off when the song picks up was just pure genius. Everybody went crazy. Lying From You was next, and everybody was jumping and singing along, having a great time, and the band seemed to be enjoying themselves too. I had a great moment as they played my favorite song by them, From The Inside. When Mike started rapping Petrified over the POA intro, I flipped out, thinking they were actually gonna play the whole song. Hands Held High surprised the hell out of me. I was the only one in my area who knew all the words, and everybody was staring. I was in the middle of a bunch of My Chemical Romance fans, so this was pretty much what was going on throughout the night. Chester took his shirt off before Pushing Me Away, and every girl in that amphitheatre screamed with delight, which I found hilarious. I never lost the adrenaline rush I was on from seeing my favorite band in person. Everybody sang their hearts out for Crawling. The Little Things Give You Away also surprised me, and again, I was the only one in my area who knew all the words. Mike and Chester got in the crowd for In The End, and it was such an amazing moment to be a part such a large group of people all singing the bridge together. I assumed One Step Closer was the end, and everybody started cheering and chanting, and banging on the seats, making as much noise as humanly possible. Then good old Mr. Hahn stepped onstage and did an awesome remix of Cure For The Itch. Earlier, before the show started, me and my friends were joking about how amazing it would be if they played QWERTY. We all decided it would never happen. And then they played it. I have never headbanged so hard in my life. Bleed It Out was fun as it always is at their shows, Rob's drum solo was the final surprise for me for the night, I was still under the impression that LP members didn't do solos. Finally, Faint came up to finish off the show. That outro remains my favorite to this day. As the band got ready to go, I held up a big Linkin Park bag that I brought with me. Mike looked straight at me and pointed, smiling and waving. I don't have any words to describe how I felt at that point. And I was left on such a high from that experience for days.
  16. Happy Birthday, man. You bring some good stuff to this site.
  17. Sounds awesome, I can't wait. I'm really curious as to what the prizes are...
  18. I'm guessing Chester was touring with Dead By Sunrise when they did this.
  19. Slipknot has been one of the biggest influences in my life, second only to LP; this is a huge blow. R.I.P. I really hope the band sticks together, but I could see them retiring from the 'Knot after this...
  20. That'd be cool, but it would absolutely murder Chester if they ever performed it live. Also, there's no way they're not gonna have a single screaming song, in MTM we got Given Up and No More Sorrow, two of LP's heaviest tracks yet. You can even toss in Bleed It Out.
  21. This was the best thing I have ever read on this site.
  22. The Father of Metal and the founder of the devil horns......man. He didn't deserve to go. R.I.P.
  23. Looks like Mike's gonna be doing some more singing on the record, he said he had recorded vocals, both singing and rapping.
  24. Damn it, I came in during the last couple minutes.
