  1. Here's wishing you the best, Mark. Happy Birthday, and thank you so much for all the hard work you do and of course, this site.
  2. This thread is making me laugh so much. How ridiculous, lmao. How DARE Mike not give us a studio update every day on his personal blog that isn't meant to always be related to LP! How DARE he! Maybe if we "boicot" his site and spam it, which he hates, it will convince him of just how dedicated we are!
  3. I've seen similiar threads on LP's site and the LPU, so I figures LPL should have its own too. Post your favorite quotes from the band, be they from interviews, behind the scenes, LPTV and LPUTV, live shows, ect.
  4. That reminds me of when they hid that clip of Given Up on their site before MTM was released, anyone remember that?
  5. Congrats LPLive! You guys truly are the best fansite hands down. I've been a member since the 08 Winter Tour and have never looked back.
  6. 1. Across the Line 2. New Divide 3. Blackbirds 4. Not Alone 5. Lockjaw
  7. I don't understand the people that are mad over this song not being heavy. Did the clip give you any hope or indication that is was going to be? Because it sure didn't to me.
  8. So Blackbirds would definitely sound sick over POA.
  9. Rough interpretation of lyrics, changed it a bit since my initial post in the 8-Bit Release thread.. Here's mine...changed it a bit to what you put since I some of your parts make more sense. Drop like get up(?) Take to the streets On Iraq(?), yeah, get up Face full of teeth When it's hot(?), yeah, spit up Tasting the beat(or heat?) Like a beast(?) (No idea what he's saying here..) Speak from your gut like a rush of blood Gave red on the (something) to the ones you love Lay the sick ones down and the bells will ring Put pennies on their eyes, let the dead men sing I shiver and shake through warm and cold I'm alone On my own In every mistake I dig this hole through my skin And bones It's harder starting over Than never to have changed With blackbirds following me I'm digging out my grave (or brain?) They close in, swallowing me The pain, it comes in waves I'm getting back what I gave I sweat through the sheet as daylight fades As I waste away It traps me inside mistakes I made That's the price I pay It's harder starting over Than never to have changed With blackbirds following me I'm digging out my grave (or brain?) They close in, swallowing me The pain, it comes in waves I'm getting back what I gave I drop to the floor like I did before Stop, watching I'm coughing, I can't be more What I want and what I need are a constant war Like a well full of poison, a rotten core The blood goes thin, the fever stings And I shake from the hell that the habits bring Lay the sick ones down The bells will ring Put pennies on their eyes, let the dead men sing Blackbirds following me I'm digging out my grave (or brain?) They close in, swallowing me The pain, it comes in waves I'm getting back what I gave I'm getting back what I gave

  11. Just posted my rough interpretation of the lyrics.

  13. Wow....different than what I was expecting. In a very good way. I love the song.
  14. *checks his mailbox, sees it is empty, cries deeply*
  15. *pitches a tent and sets up a mailbox*
  16. *Gets in line to wait*
  17. Yup, according to Mark the song is out and spreading fast. That's crazy.
  18. My god this thread just exploded, didn't it? I think I recall someone saying the game's completion time is like 6 hours or something like that? Probably less. Do we have anyone from New Zealand on here?
  19. From Twitter: Mike will be on Kevin and Bean on @kroq at 9am PT on Monday, April 26 to discuss "8-Bit Rebellion!" http://twitter.com/linkinpark
  20. Crowd interaction definitely. They were always great with it from when they started out to their last show in 04, on PR 07 through the US stadium tours they were FANTASTIC with it. Once PR 08 rolled around it just kinda stopped.
  21. No More Sorrow is a freaking monster. One of the best LP songs, definitely my favorite track from MTM. I listened to every audience recording I could find nonstop before MTM was released, that song blew my mind. And it definitely should've replaced Given Up as a single, Shadow of the Day was a great single, it did very well and has become very popular.
  22. Very good cause. Nice to see Chester helping out.
  23. Only a hell of a lot skinnier.
  24. Bleed It Out - Mike harmonizes with Chester after the "Oh-oh"s, during the "I bleed it out digging deeper just to throw it away" back and forth with the crowd.
