  1. Fuck no. LPA seriously needs to just kill off their Wiki already. It's a fucking joke.
  2. If the camera would have kept panning down for literally another half second when Rob throws the stick around 5:07, I'd be in an LPTV episode. D'aww.
  3. Well damn, we actually got the date of the Relative Degree show, LOL. May 17th, 1996. That puts it a lot later than I would have guessed, the earlier descriptions of the show made it sound like they were all like 14 when it happened and that there was a pretty big gap between the end of Relative Degree and the beginning of Xero, but the only other May 17th on a Friday in the early-mid '90s was in 1991, and there's no way Rob was only 12 and playing at the Roxy. He would've been playing drums for like 2 and a half years at that point.
  4. Sex & Violence instead of Hollywood Bitch. Same songs from the 10/3 show otherwise, slightly different order.
  5. And it says right in the interview that it was written post-Out of Ashes. I don't care if Chester says he "thought it would be a Dead By Sunrise song," DBS has been a completely inactive creative force since their lone album came out. I guarantee Chester hasn't written a note's worth of new music in collaboration with Ryan, Amir, or anyone else in that band in the last 5 years. It was a song Chester wrote that he didn't think would work as a Linkin Park song, nothing more. "Fucking Awesome" is one of the known working titles from the ATS sessions, by the way. I don't see why "The Messenger" would be anything other than a working title that stuck.
  6. Correct. I've posted about this before (the original, incorrect transcriptions came from me).
  7. The album came out first, but because of the development timeline of the games, they had to submit the songs pretty far in advance, so they didn't have the final mixes done yet.
  8. Really hoping they add at least one more song off of High Rise...wasn't Tomorrow supposed to be released as a third single at some point? Wonder what happened to that.
  9. Daron played both verses of Rebellion identically. Brad plays the second verse different than the first verse (Brad plays the song completely differently from how Daron recorded it). Brad's been playing improv lead work during the outro to What I've Done for this entire touring cycle.
  10. I don't believe it's ever technically been confirmed, no. But the timeline makes sense that Mike E's guitar part could've been recorded during the Honda Civic Tour in 2012, I'd imagine Mike S. being "on Pro Tools" would've pretty much just amounted to him like...hitting the record button the computer.
  11. Pretty sure LP's not opening for Metallica...they're headlining one day, Metallica's headlining the other. http://rockinrio.com/usa/line-up/ - The festival takes place over 4 days (one "rock weekend" and one "pop weekend"), and there are 4 headliners. Taylor Swift and No Doubt are obviously playing the second weekend.
  12. As with anything involving South America, my attitude is "not believing it until the band announces it themselves." For every legitimate concert promoter down there, there are about 15 scam artists who try to sell tickets to non-existent concerts. The quality of journalism isn't the greatest either, so regardless of how big the newspaper reporting it is, the amount of fact-checking they did before publishing the story is questionable.
  13. Because Linkin Park has never overdubbed a single mistake on a live recording. Ever.
  14. 1. Pushmeaway.com circa 2001 or so. Webmaster knew the band personally. 2/3. I'll be honest, the oldest evidence I can find of either of those things about the My December Team Sleep remix is in a series of posts I made in this thread on the LPA forums in early 2005: http://www.lpassociation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14653 I obviously didn't just pull that info out of my ass, I got it from SOMEWHERE...but hell if I can remember at this point. Simon from LP:Fuse would be a good person to ask, he was always trying to find out stuff about that song, he asked about it in just about every LPU chat during the Meteora period. On a related note, I did find an entry from December of 2001 on an old Deftones fansite that talks about DJ Crook from Team Sleep doing a remix of My December for LP's "upcoming remix album": http://defjef.tripod.com/news.htm (it's down the page quite a way). 4. Mike was asked about it at the Camden LPU Summit in 2012.
  15. Something like "we'd stay 'til last."
  16. http://www.lpassociation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41085&page=2&p=1337543#post1337543 Guy's spamming/trolling/whatever you want to call it about the same shit over at LPA. This is so terrible it can't be serious. But it's not remotely comical either. 0/10 worst troll ever.
  17. Completely different event, won't be a full performance, might not even be footage from the Hollywood Bowl show. Everything is broken down by the hour and there's a shitload of other stuff going on outside of the musical guests. This looks like it'll be a pre-recorded broadcast of MAYBE 2 songs, and they could literally be from any show. LP will be on sometime between 1 AM-2 AM EST/10 PM-11 PM PST. Click on "Reason 14" and repeatedly drag the "in this hour" thing to the left, it lists LP as the musical guest during that hour.
  18. I'm sure it's happened plenty of times but I can't think of too many off the top of my head. Just the one Soul mentioned and Top of the Pops 2003, where they attempted a second take of Somewhere I Belong but abandoned it during the bridge because either Mike or Brad broke a string.
  19. Link to watch the show for free from VyRT's Twitter: http://new.livestream.com/accounts/10046000/Carnivores
  20. LMFAO. So VyRT is repeatedly Tweeting the same message trying to get people to contact their support email, acting like their entire fucking website just taking a shit is an isolated problem for a few people. I don't think that's going to do much good when you're dealing with hundreds, if not thousands of paying customers who are looking at an "Application Error" page 10 minutes before a broadcast they paid anywhere from $15 to $50 to see is supposed to start. What a fucking joke.
  21. I doubt he plays anything he didn't play on the album. Not really sure why they're insisting on having all 3 of them play guitar on it. But hey, maybe Daron can at least show Brad the right way to play it. *Edit* VyRT is completely down right now. "Application Error." Anybody want to start taking bets on the stream not even working? Or the odds of us getting refunds if it doesn't?
  22. Also, pretty sure VyRT's having issues handling this much volume. The video player keeps disappearing randomly.
  23. Well. VyRT sure does go to great lengths to make sure people can't rip the raw feed. I found the direct link to the stream (which I won't be sharing for obvious reasons), but when you try to access it directly, it comes up as a blocked domain. Apparently they have it set up where it will only work when the VyRT URL is pointing to it. Yeah, if people figure this one out, they've earned it. Starting to think we won't get anything more than audio of LP's performance unless they end up releasing this as a DVD.
  24. FYI Faint is always played by the crew at soundcheck, and they didn't really soundcheck Rebellion, Benjamin was just playing Rebellion on Brad's guitar for a bit while the special guest talk was going on. Not really sure what the new rig is capable of with the Fractal/Ableton stuff, to be honest. A lot of Mike's patch changes are actually triggered from Brad's rig on the opposite side of the stage, so we know they're basically capable of running 2 guitars off of one guitar rig. They can always do like they did with Mike from Incubus and just have him set up his own amp on stage too.
  25. Figured as much. Might be a good idea to add this show to the "dangerous to upload to Youtube" thread just so people don't get ideas. *Edit* Do you have any idea what that "384 tickets to go to unlock additional content" is about? *Edit 2* One of 30STM's crew guys soundchecking Jared's mic singing Conquistador around 3:05:00, dude actually has a hell of a voice!
