  1. They're showing us their process of writing songs for the new album. Started with just vocals + piano or synth or acoustic guitar -> work on lyrics and record vocals -> record drums -> record guitars.
  2. The Warner Music Thailand post is gone too.
  3. http://linkinpedia.com/index.php?title=LP_Album_7#Composition
  4. The album will have 8 songs and this is the first track.
  5. The tweet was deleted: https://twitter.com/MiamiRadioBeast
  6. Joe Hahn, Mike Shinoda, Chester Bennington, Phoenix, Lorenzo Errico, Adam Ruehmer, Jim Digby, Christian Tachiera, Tobias Fance, Frank Maddocks, Tal Cooperman, Linkin Park, Warner Bros. Records.
  7. There's this YouTube channel called Spinnin' Talent Pool. It seems to be owned by a legit Dutch record label called Spinnin' Deep. They have a lyric video for Waiting For Tomorrow in their channel which was uploaded in September. According to the commentaries, Garrix used to be signed to this label but left because they wouldn't give him any creative freedom and that's when he decided to create his own label. If I remember right, he already had his label when he debuted the song live, but maybe it was recorded while he was still signed to Spinnin' Deep and they got the song. The audio is the same as the leaked version. This could be some sort of radio edit of the song. audio reup:
  8. She was probably talking about Collision Course II (fan made album).
  9. That sounds awesome. Can't wait to see it.
  10. It says "ticket".
  11. Makes sense. It would still be cool to know where and when it was recorded since the CD doesn't mention it. According to Discogs, the promo CD is from March 2002, so it would have been recorded before that. You mentioned 3 radio shows in between Family Values shows. How many did they play in the time after the tour ended and before March 2002? By the way, is this the Sacramento show you were talking about? Is there a recording of it? Or is that quote from some review? If this is the show, I think it would be nice to add that to the show notes.
  12. And just because a song is in a Linkin Park album doesn't mean all members worked on it either. I don't know if any of you listen to The Beatles, but I think it's cool how their fans knows exactly which members worked in each song and what they played. It would be cool to have this information available for Linkin Park songs. He also mentioned a few post-Fort Minor songs like Hands Held High, When They Come For Me and even Waiting For The End. When they recorded the song back in 2001 they said only Mike and Joe worked with The Visionaries.
  13. Only Joe and Mike are in the actual song. Just check the single cover and you'll see it. It's not a Linkin Park song. There are people from various other bands in the music video. http://linkinpedia.com/index.php?title=It%27s_Goin%27_Down#Music_Video
  14. I still think the "Wonderful" thing is kind of strange because even after Chester joined Stone Temple Pilots as their lead singer the band talked about doing radio shows with him in the past. Sure, it's confirmed that the song was recorded in a studio and the crowd noise was added in later, but aren't radio performances usually recorded in studios anyway? As an example, we have Linkin Park's BBC performance from 2001 that was released with the Hybrid Theory singles. You could question why they needed to add the crowd noise later if there was an audience, but we have Julien-K's SDS Sessions Vol. 1 EP as an example of a live in-studio performance that was recorded in front of an audience but has no crowd noise. Is there any way to contact the band's crew from that time to find out when and where they were in studio with Chester?
  15. At least LPU8 was meant to be a joke.
  16. I'd just like to point out that this song is a completely different case from, let's say, "Carry Me Away" or "Resurrection", where Mike played all instruments and was in total control of how the music sounded. If you check the images in the main post you'll see Mike is credited as an additional producer. The song was probably already "complete" when Mike first heard it. He might have just added a thing or two to the song or given some advice to Taka to make the song better. I imagine the original version didn't sound very different from what we hear in the album, just like "Things In My Jeep".
  17. I think it's safe to say the collaboration with Blackbear and Andrew Goldstein will be released as a single. Why else would they spend money on LP / Blackbear merch? If it's a single from the new Linkin Park album or a single from a new Blackbear record, we'll see...
  18. I didn't find anything about Interpol in the LPU 8 newsletter.
