  1. From Mike's blog: "With Stagelight now out for Windows, a number of you guys are checking it out. This week, I wanted to do something special for all our early adopters who are helping us spread the word: I made you guys a song. This session can be downloaded and opened in Stagelight on Windows 7 or 8. It’s not an audio file and doesn’t contain any audio so (for now) only Stagelight users get to hear it. For those of you who haven’t checked it out yet: Stagelight is a new music-making program designed by Open Labs and me. It’s the result of years of testing on stage and in the studio. With it, anyone at any level can make a great song in as little as a few minutes. It’s powerful and it’s simple, and you can buy it for only $10 HERE. Download COMPLIMENTARY here: http://smarturl.it/LP_StageLight" From the LP Underground email sent on December 10th: "We are offering a free download of Stagelight Music Software to all LPU members. LPU members will receive exclusive Linkin Park sound packs and unreleased songs with Stagelight Software. Download codes will be sent to all LPU members on Wednesday, December 12th." Thoughts? Will 'Bruiser' be included in Stagelight? EDIT: The almighty Astat has found the songs! Download the highly-sought track "Bruiser", another song called "Space Station", and more LP demos by reading below! "UPDATE: If you want the "Linkin Park Edition" of Stagelight (yes, it's actually called that), GO HERE: http://www.openlabs.com/index.php/Download...nparkstagelight You'll be able to use the same product key you got with your LPU email this way, but you'll get the "correct" version with the LP demo songs and such. I honestly think this whole confusion was just a matter of someone using the wrong download link at some point along the line. Also, it seems like the LP Edition has a lot more to it than the standard one...the installer .exe files are roughly 280 MB for the standard version, and 909 MB for the LP edition. I highly doubt that big of a difference comes just from the inclusion of a couple demo tracks..." Info on other LP samples/demos included in the pack can be found here. "Furthermore, a lot of the LP samples included seem to come from existing LP demos! Some of the titles I recognize in the various filenames include Sakura, Holding Company, Chicken Basket, Primo, Episodes, and Seahorse. Other titles that show up include Blacklight, Drano, Numbers, Rooster, Heretic, Grudge, Axis, Plastic, Twister, Casino, Trinity, Kerosena, Monday, Luna, Sandmine, Splinter, Stone, Kingdom, Sputnik, Shortcut, Sentinel, Grey Sky, Florida, Hyper, Paper Shark, Archbishop, and Ribeye (some of these may be "track names" as opposed to names for actual seeds, but most of them appear in numerous audio files, so it seems that they come from sessions for full songs). The samples in the Drum Kits folder even include samples from released songs like Lies Greed Misery, Roads Untraveled, Castle of Glass, Divided, Pale, and some of the songs from The Raid score. Most of them are just drum kit samples, but still - LOTS of LP stuff in there!"
  2. Working on it. Can't release every single thing we have at once Then what do we do when the band doesn't tour? lol Breaks from touring = exclusives get released
  3. No way they perform with only two days notice to us lol. But hell, Fort Minor played an awards show and never announced it to anyone. http://lplive.net/fortminor/20060119.php and they also didn't announce this either: http://lplive.net/fortminor/20060125.php But with LP I think they've always announced everything, at least since like 2002 or whatever. Like I don't think we've been surprised with a performance at the last second in a while.
  4. I don't think they could pack the stadiums out. All of the pics from the DSPs of the crowds make them look not so big at least from the stage for 2012. Talking about HCT and South America. They couldn't even pack Mansfield on the Honda Civic Tour. Where did you see that every HCT show was sold out? I find that hard to believe with how many empty seats were in Mansfield and how few people were on the floor in Uncasville. Alpharetta was fuckin' packed but it was only a 12,000 seat amphitheatre. Camden sold out (confirmed) but damn that crowd was ROCKING. Jones Beach sold out. Did Bristow sell out?
  5. Wonder what song that was haha. The No Laundry talk in the interview is hilarious lol
  6. Great. Hope it's good quality, a good mix.
  7. I enjoy Chester's Camp Freddy stuff more than anything else but I love Fort Minor a lot more than Dead By Sunrise. And yes, overproduced a "bit" is a REALLY BIG understatement. That CD is very very overproduced lol.
  8. There's more where that came from (not talking about Team Sleep remix)
  9. IMR or POWERLESS would be cool. I'd like a performance video like the POWERLESS MFR video
  10. I can upload it all, sure. Like I said I wish I knew how to get it organized completely. I have Demonstrate, Stereo Left, Stereo Right and then from that LPA pack I have all those albums which include all of the 3 albums I listed but they are in different folders, etc. Let me see if I can Derek in here to tell us how he has his organized lol. Mine is really unorganized because with having the 3 albums in iTunes plus all the LPA stuff, it has duplicates. I will upload though if I can get it organized, or if not I'll upload anyway lol EDIT: I'll just upload it all now. This is everything I have from them. Like I said, some duplicates and all but I think it's every song they've ever put out. http://lplive.net/personal/mark/
  11. LPU email sent out today: Stagelight Music Software We are offering a free download of Stagelight Music Software to all LPU members. LPU members will receive exclusive Linkin Park sound packs and unreleased songs with Stagelight Software. Download codes will be sent to all LPU members on Wednesday, December 12th. Bruiser?
  12. Ha! Yep! Maybe 2015 or so then, lol
  13. Well that's depressing as fuck. Guess only one US tour for LIVING THINGS then. Touche, LP.
  14. WTF @ the Geki pics
  15. Anyone need any songs from this again? I was interested in the PDF and the album art. My discography is still a bit incomplete in terms of organization of this stuff. Check my last.fm though, I listen to Rosewood Fall a good bit lol http://www.last.fm/user/Hahninator/library...mp;sortBy=plays I always thought that if I was in a band, Rosewood Fall would be a good example of the type of music I'd ideally like to make. Great overall vibe to their music - not very slow and not very heavy, a great mix of both.
  16. Yeah for real. At least they try and give us a few songs, I mean it could be worse lol. There could really be zero non-singles and they only play new songs + singles like they did a few years ago. I'm very thankful for A Place For My Head (easily the most fan favorite live non-single song that LP has), With You this year, at least they played Runaway and Blackout in Europe, they brought back Points, etc. Phew. Oh and:
  17. Well the only times I've complained about a setlist in 2012 was when that first setlist of the year had Numb in the encore (they took it out at the Jones Beach I saw, ha, and added Lying From You. epic) and then again in Mansfield when the "Set A" had Blackout and Runaway dropped and no sign of From The Inside anywhere in the USA (not that big of a deal but Blackout and Runaway would have been cool). But this is easily the worst set of 2012, lol. Not a fan. Really wondering why it was so short.... But we'll go ahead and call the 14 songs they picked pretty weak. 14 songs versus 19 (we'll call it 18 without Wake) in 2007....hmm. Maybe KROQ put a time limit on them? It just confuses me why they always want to play singles - you'd think they'd get so tired of playing live shows with how many singles they play every show. Like Numb has been at every single LP show since 2003 - I mean damn that's 10 years for that song coming up in 2013, lol. LITE opening, alright, guess we could have predicted that for 2013. After Given Up the set really spirals downward though, haha. LGM live is pretty weak, and after that there are 9 songs out of the 10 left that are singles. COG is great, I'm glad they're playing that live though. Not hating on anything but at least to me this is a very sleepy setlist and I'd get bored pretty quickly with it. Glad to see at least Bleed It Out had something planned to be over it. Cool set for the show would have been LITE, Faint, Papercut, WTCFM, Points, With You, From The Inside, IMR, COG, BTH, BID (since it is from the new CD and needs to be played I guess), BIO (Sabotage bridge), APFMH, OSC. Sounds good. I just get tired of all the singles and find the fun in the non-singles. EDIT: I have no idea how the thread got locked, I really apologize lol
  18. We'll have to rely on someone there :/ or maybe a crew member tweets it afterward. It'd suck to get it Monday lol
  19. CASTLE OF GLASS and My December please
  20. On the 8th, Linkin Park plays the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas in Universal City, CA at the Gibson Amphitheatre. LP first played the KROQ AAC show in 2000 (show page here), their first year of big national touring, where they debuted 'My December' for the first time live. How about 'My December' and 'A Place For My Head' to open a show? Cool, eh? In 2001 they played two shows on the 8th (show page here) and the 9th (show page here). 'My December' was played at both of those shows, but at the second show they performed four songs acoustically, including 'Crawling' with Aaron Lewis! In 2003 they returned to the AAC show (show page here) with a pretty solid setlist that included 'It's Goin' Down'. Due to this show being webcasted, this was the first time that online LP fans had the chance to hear 'Breaking The Habit' live for the first time. It wasn't until 2007 that Linkin Park played Almost Acoustic Christmas again (show page here), but they made a statement with their return. 'My December' again was played for the first time in over a year, the U.C.L.A. BRUIN marching band joined them on stage, and 'Hands Held High' featured a children's choir as well. Wow! This will be the band's sixth show at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas show since 2000. 'CASTLE OF GLASS' debuted on the 7th in Culver City, CA, so it is very likely that it will be included in the setlist for this show. Where do you think it will fall in the set? Do you think the band will bring back 'My December' at this show? It has not been played in over four and a half years - the last performance was in Las Vegas, NV in March 2008 (show page here). What else do you think that LP could do? Any other surprises? What song do you think they will drop for 'CASTLE OF GLASS'? Or will any other songs from 'LIVING THINGS' be debuted at this show? Night one at KROQ AAC includes a pretty solid lineup, with Rise Against, Bush, Garbage, Slightly Stoopid, AWOLNATION, The Lumineers, Walk The Moon, The Gaslight Anthem, Two Door Cinema Club, Youngblood Hawke rounding out the bill. Wow! According to the KROQ website, the show will NOT be webcasted live as it has been in past years. Instead, the Linkin Park performance will be shown at 10:00am on Monday, December 10th. Maybe this will allow the audio to be improved....it's no secret that the audio portion of the past KROQ LP webcasts has been pretty bad. Is anyone from LPLive headed to this show? This is the LAST show for Linkin Park in 2012! What an awesome year it has been! For a full recap on tours this year including setlists and more, click here. SETLIST: 01. LOST IN THE ECHO (2012 Intro) 02. Faint (Ext. Outro) 03. Papercut 04. Given Up (Ext. Outro w/ Extra Note) 05. New Divide 06. LIES GREED MISERY 07. 21. Yeah I will agree with that. Camden and Bucharest are great. The Bristow show itself was fantastic...band in a great mood rocking big but Camden beats it due to the setlist. Cape Town is impressive. The POA fuckup was hilarious lol....finally something prompts them to talk after the song! About time. I wish they'd interact with the crowd a bit more.
  22. Wow, great debut. Watched it live and I was impressed. Yeah the intro fuck up was funny but hey that's LP for ya Chester sounded GREAT. For once I love all the vocals haha. Loved the shot of the four band members singing too. Really solid debut, the best I've seen from them in a while. I like COG way better than BID....I think COG could have been a better first single. Anyway the band nailed the performance. I'm interested where in the set COG will be played tonight at KROQ.
  23. Christ that's saying a lot...Stockholm was easily the best of that 2011 tour for sure due to the insane crowd but Camden was sick.
  24. 'POWERLESS' now added Where in the set do you think it'll go? I'd like to see something like this for KROQ AAC but it's unrealistic 01. A Place For My Head 02. Given Up 03. Somewhere I Belong 04. Empty Spaces 05. When They Come For Me 06. With You 07. VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY) 08. Points Of Authority 09. IN MY REMAINS 10. Waiting For The End 11. Breaking The Habit 12. CASTLE OF GLASS (Acoustic) 13. Numb (Acoustic) 14. My December (Acoustic) 15. In The End (Acoustic) 16. LOST IN THE ECHO 17. What I've Done 18. BURN IT DOWN 19. Bleed It Out ------------ 20. TINFOIL 21. Faint 22. Lying From You / Papercut 23. One Step Closer Looks good to me. Drop New Divide, the Ballad Medley, and The Catalyst and add CASTLE OF GLASS and My December. Acoustic section mid set.
