  1. I would love to get someone on board staff to help with these corrections, etc...someone to add them to the show pages as they are found.
  2. Tonight, Linkin Park will be playing in Culver City, CA for VGA Ten (Video Game Awards Ten) at Sony Pictures Studios. Tenacious D will also be performing and the show will be hosted by none other than Samuel L. Jackson! Catch the performance on Spike TV at 9:00pm EST / 6:00pm PST and also on MTV 2, MTV Tr3s, Spike.com and GameTrailers.com. The band will be debuting 'CASTLE OF GLASS' tonight for its first performance ever. The first appearance of the song comes almost two months after its was released in October. It will be the latest debut off of the album, which has already had 'LOST IN THE ECHO', 'IN MY REMAINS', 'BURN IT DOWN', 'LIES GREED MISERY', 'VICTIMIZED' (mashed up with part of 'QWERTY'), 'TINFOIL' and part of 'UNTIL IT BREAKS', making it the eighth song off of LIVING THINGS to be played live in some form. Only 'I'LL BE GONE', 'ROADS UNTRAVELED', 'SKIN TO BONE', 'POWERLESS', and a full 'UNTIL IT BREAKS' remain to be played. Who will be watching tonight? Who's excited to see the song appear live? stage_rad has been posting some Instagram pictures of rehearsals the past few days, check a few of those out right here and here. On the 8th, Linkin Park will be playing the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas in Universal City, CA at the Gibson Amphitheatre. It will be their first appearance at KROQ AAC since 2007. It is also their last show scheduled for 2012, so hopefully there will be a surprise or two in the setlist for the show! For the full 2012 list of tour dates including setlists, show notes, pictures and more, click here. EDIT: The performance of the song has produced some of the most positive comments we've heard on a live debut of a song in a while! Maybe since 'Blackout'? Check the HD video above and let us know your thoughts in the comments. Also, this shot of four band members singing has been getting a lot of praise. Not bad! Overall it was a very nice debut for 'CASTLE OF GLASS'!
  3. Actually my DSP has IMR, not sure who added the setlist but it's incorrect. I'll fix it.
  4. Completely agreed. LGM live is a disaster lol. Alpharetta had a GREAT vibe going on with Somewhere I Belong (crowd loud as fuck, totally random song to explode on lol), WTCFM (Mike jamming big), VICTIMIZED/QWERTY and With You sounded fantastic, then LGM ended the energy run of the past 4 songs lol. Then POA had the place going crazy afterwards but LGM really is a dud live. I'd much rather hear From The Inside, Runaway or Blackout (songs they dropped from Europe). From The Inside live is a monster. BID sounds great - it's got the good ole "single treatment", aka Chester struggles at first to perform it live for a tour or so then he starts NAILING it like a boss (see: What I've Done in 2007 sounding weird at first then he rocked it big). IN MY REMAINS in Bristow was A+, it's sounded great to me since they debuted it. Toss in I'LL BE GONE, CASTLE OF GLASS and POWERLESS and I think that'd be a good roundup of the new songs. Drop LGM for FTI Or like the post above says....rehearse Figure.09
  5. Haha that's hilarious. Definitely would like to see some Shinoda insight into these tracks. Doesn't look like that'll happen though. Best song on the CD's insight - "I've never heard this before". Epic.
  6. Or gives Warner time to say "3 songs only".
  7. Given Up and No More Sorrow >>>>>>>>>>>> Robot Boy and Iridescent
  8. Wow. My webcast mp3 from like 2004 or 2005 is the exact same thing as you're talking about. It cuts in during the song intro (it has nothing before it like Mike messing around on the piano for a second). Thanks Jonas, I've never heard this before. Any way you can upload the rest of the show in FLAC? So this version was released somewhere or no?
  9. You heard it right - you know all those songs you skip when you listen to DSPs or the LP albums? Make a custom setlist out of your least favorite LP songs or the songs you cringe at hearing live. Sometimes LP shows are not enjoyable due to crowds, sometimes it's the lack of energy from the band, and sometimes it's just those songs. What songs are they for you? If you want to give explanations you can. RULES: - Try to keep cover songs out unless LP has actually played them. So "JUSTIN BEIBER COVER" would be unrealistic. - LP doesn't have to have played the song live as long as it is on an album (yes, LPU, etc counts as a live album. Blackbirds and songs like Not Alone and Lockjaw count since they are LP songs) - Keep it in the range of 15-26 songs, depending on how long you want this worst show ever to last - Collaborations can be used like We Made It without Busta. Hell, Coldplay does Princess of China without Rihanna. Fort Minor did Enth E Nd live. - Make your own medleys/mashups if you want like LFY/Papercut or LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent lol - Instrumentals count...I always have wanted LP to play more instrumentals like open a show or encore break with A-Six or Pale but they don't seem to want to do it....but fuck it use them if you want Here's my list: 01. LIES GREED MISERY 02. QWERTY (Studio Version, or 2007 live version because the live one is a train wreck and the studio version is soooo much worse than the 2006 live version) 03. X-Ecutioner Style (Chester doing the SHUT UP parts would be cool but this would be a total fail live) 04. Yo (MTM Demo) 05. Blackbirds (Never been a fan) 06. New Divide (Yawn) 07. ROADS UNTRAVELED 08. Empty Spaces 09. UNTIL IT BREAKS (LOL) 10. High Voltage (Hybrid Theory EP Version) / H! Vltg3 Mashup (I think the entire LP fanbase agrees the Reanimation version is the worst song ever released with LP's name on it lol) 11. Jornada Del Muerto 12. Waiting For The End (2010-2011 version when Chester sounded TERRIBLE on it, 2012 with the UIB intro and outro make it 10000x better and Chester sounds WAY better. Pooch turned him down on the double rap part too thankfully) 13. Not Alone 14. The Requiem 15. The Radiance 16. I Have Not Begun (2009 Demo) 17. Shadow Of The Day 18. Wisdom, Justice, & Love 19. Iridescent 20. Bleed It Out (Album Version) (Face it, we all love it because of the extra stuff in the song like Sabotage, APFMH, BITS, RME, singalong, drum solo, ext outros, etc) ---------------------- 21. The Messenger 22. In Between (w/ KRWLNG intro) (Biggest tease on the planet....?) 23. SKIN TO BONE ---------------------- 24. Clarity (MTM Demo) 25. Ntr/mssn 26. Numb (My favorite song!)
  10. Lisbon, Moscow, Bristow, Camden are the best so far.
  11. I had no idea they remastered it for the LPU.
  12. Hmm. That's interesting. Do you have the file? Any way you can upload it if so? I just looked into the KROQ Xmas CD I believe last year and it turned out to be the 2002 version. I wasn't aware of the 2000 one being in high quality somewhere.
  13. "And while Windows machines — including a Linkin Park Edition product line coming from Dell on Dec. 10 that will include StageLight software along with a library of customized sounds, loops and kits that will let users “create their own songs using signature sounds created by the band themselves” — are the first target, Open Labs has plans to expand to other platforms." http://www.wired.com/underwire/2012/11/stagelight/ Wonder if this has Bruiser on it?
  14. This short POWERLESS video is easily the best video LP has released since Shadow Of The Day in my opinion. Awesome, awesome performance shots of Chester and the band. I love the performance videos they do but for some reason I really disliked the ATS/LT videos. This is great, huge fan of this, just wish it was the whole song.
  15. It's not from that show, it's from this show: - My December (San Diego 23.02.2002) I thought it was from 2000 as well until we researched it, it's the 2002 live version. But we will add it.
  16. Yeah for sure. We'll have to see how they do POWERLESS live before we think about changing anything.
  17. I'm interested to see if any LP music will be in this mixtape lol
  18. Considering all of the intros, outros and b-sides/demos we have from the MTM era and MTM songs, make a tracklisting of the CD that you think would have come out equally as good to MTM or even better. For example, here's mine: 01. Pale 02. Across The Line 03. Wake 04. Given Up 05. What We Don't Know 06. QWERTY (2006 version, studio form, 1000x better than the LPU6 "studio" one) 07. No More Sorrow (long intro in the studio) 08. Leave Out All The Rest (SOTD ending transition tacked on to the end of this) 09. What I've Done (AMBO intro) 10. Bleed It Out (Seattle 2007 version, extended intro, extended bridge (maybe w/ drum solo?), slow -> fast outro with a Chester "FUCK YEAH!" at the end, lmao) 11. Valentine's Day 12. In Pieces 13. No Roads Left 14. The Little Things Give You Away
  19. Fiore told me in Uncasville LP was doing a 2013 US tour, and they were wanting to have bigger production than what they had on Honda Civic Tour. We'll see. Chester also said in a recent interview that they'd do another US tour on this cycle. Probably Australia/NZ, Asia, Europe, USA, back to studio. Or something similar to that. I've seen some really good USA shows. Atlanta 2007, West Palm Beach 2008, Camden and Alpharetta this year. Also I've seen some good shows in Europe. Stuttgart 2009 was pretty epic and easily the best LP crowd I've been a part of. Camden 2012 or Atlanta 2007 would be the best USA show I've seen. Wantagh this year was also really solid.
  20. Link to where he said that? We 100% for sure heard it at the Summit lol. Derek wasn't anywhere near us when we heard it, not sure why he'd say that. I saw the guy full the folder up on the laptop. "LP_BRUISER_DEMO". It wasn't just me that saw that, everyone around me saw that on the laptop. Hell, ask Jonas I asked the guy to play the LP song on there and he's like ??? and he goes back to the main screen, he sees that title and is like "Bruiser?" then clicks it and plays the first 75-90 seconds of it for us. The link above doesn't sound like it to me. Bruiser was up tempo. The clip sounds pretty mellow.
  21. The POA one has an added pre chorus part in verse 2 so it's technically a demo we don't have. Forgotten I think is one we have already.
  22. Asbestos
  23. Linkin Park plays the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, CA on November 18th. The AMA's this year take place at the Nokia Theatre in LA near the Staples Center. The Nokia Theatre is in the middle of the L.A. LIVE district, which also houses Club Nokia where LP played in June of this year for X Games MUSIC (show page here). The broadcast of the AMA's starts at 8pm EST on the 18th on ABC. Linkin Park will be performing along with Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Christina Aguilera, and possibly more artists. Interesting. The band is also up for the Alternative Rock award at the show. Right now it is unknown what the band will play. They rehearsed on the 16th, though, two days before the show. Will 'CASTLE OF GLASS', their latest single, get its live debut at this show? Or will the band stick to their last single 'LOST IN THE ECHO'? Or maybe even 'BURN IT DOWN'? What do you think? What song would fit the best for the American Music Awards? In May, LP performed 'BURN IT DOWN' for the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas (show page here), but they might go with a more recent song off of LIVING THINGS for this show. EDIT: Warner Bros confirms that the band will be performing 'BURN IT DOWN'. After this show, Linkin Park plays the 2012 Video Game Awards at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, CA on December 7th. At that show, it is confirmed that they will be playing 'CASTLE OF GLASS'. And the day after that, the band headlines day one of the KROQ Almost Acoustic City at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA. It will be the first time they have played the KROQ AAC show since December 2007.
  24. Hmm it seems the drums were used again (possibly) but I guess that goes back to Shinoda originally saying ages ago that they are afraid of releasing demos in case they want to reuse portions of songs for future songs lol. Wasn't there a sample in one of the LPUX or LPU11 demos that can be found in Session or something?
  25. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=8667 And part of Homecoming is in the MFR video in that thread we posted about ages ago.
