Yeah. I'm sure he at least tried it in the studio. Whether it made an APFMH demo or not is an entirely different debate. Perhaps it's on an early demo that we don't have, perhaps it's not. The same debate can be applied to With You and the "c'mon" at the beginning. Maybe that existed on a With You demo or maybe he just started doing that live and used that as the inspiration to have it on Wth>You off Reanimation. Who knows really haha. Of course there are many versions of the songs that exist only in the LP archives, so the only person that really knows this information is Shinoda. Even though the motherfucker/motherfuck you (it really seems like he's done both at various points) on APFMH and "c'mon" on With You aren't on the Esaul and Dust Brothers demos that we have doesn't mean they never tried them on the songs in the studio at some point.

You can see Fiore and such filming in this video that Church posted from the NOLA trip. This is a really cool video. Not sure if you've seen this before. I also thought at that time, they'd release an LPTV about the NOLA trip. Very weird that it never happened since the trip even inspired The Little Things Give You Away. And then here are a few clips when Chester was coming down with his sickness (lol) on their 2008 NOLA MFR trip between the Nashville and Oklahoma City shows on the MTM Arena Tour. I like this one a lot because of Mike at the end talking in his sarcastic voice like the toy kangaroo voice he had in the LPTV 2007 Australia episode, lol Sucks they haven't played a show in New Orleans since 2003! Hope they return sometime. If they do, I'm there. Great city.

Yes that is true. Warner prevented the release of that. Also I will get your stuff uploaded soon

I am missing the last two songs. I have 1-10 remastered but that's it so I guess the answer is no.
-
The one Jonas linked is easily the best LP trailer out there lol....ever.
-
I already have a HT vinyl I got for free but I'm going to get one for Jonas today. Also getting the new Jimmy Eat World vinyl because there's a new song from the new album + a new cover song on it. Should be cool.
-
Sadly no because it was streamed live to the theaters, so there aren't any copies that exist. If it was on DVDs or something that were sent out, we'd have one by now because within the last 5 or so years one would have definitely popped up on eBay.

I think they'll add Seoul and Bangkok, with possibly a Singapore show and another show or two in Japan. The question is - where will the warmup show be? Las Vegas as usual or maybe Los Angeles or NYC this time? Haha.

Yes the FM tour was shuffled around after it was announced. Toronto originally in the first announcement was the day you mentioned but it was moved or was maybe even a mistake. But they changed quite a bit around on that tour after it was announced. -
Thanks to LPLive member daniel624, we have learned about a new show on the band's upcoming Asian Tour in August. According to tube.hk (usually a reliable source for Hong Kong shows), Linkin Park will return to Hong Kong on August 15th at the Asia-World Arena. Ticket details will be announced soon. The website says the show is confirmed, so we will be looking for an announcement by the band soon. Hong Kong was the first stop on the band's A Thousand Suns Asian Tour in 2011 (show page here), meaning this will be LP's first show in Hong Kong since September 6th, 2011. Sources here and here. To find the 2013 tour page, go here. Currently announced shows for the band in August: 10.08.2013 Tokyo, JP, Summer Sonic 11.08.2013 Osaka, JP, Summer Sonic 15.08.2013 Chek Lap Kok, HK, Asia-World Arena 17.08.2013 Taipei, TW, Taipei Arena What other cities or countries do you think the band will add to this upcoming tour in Asia? 4/24 EDIT: The show is now confirmed by the band: "Linkin Park has added a show at Asia World Arena in Lantau, Hong Kong on August 15th. LP Underground members will have access to pre-sale tickets starting April 29th at 10 AM (local time) at LPUnderground.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public on May 3rd at 10 AM (local time)."

Hmm you have a point.

Then they'd probably never be invited to play in China again, and possibly could have even had the plug pulled on the show mid-set.
-
Well yeah that's the interesting thing. In 2007 they played in Shanghai and had no problems. Given Up was in there as you said. In 2008 they had 3 shows scheduled in China and of course canceled....that really sucks because that would have been the year they played their most shows in China. Anyway, in 2009 in Shanghai they had to drop Given Up and Hands Held High. HHH is obvious - because it's considered a political song. Given Up, who knows. Maybe because it says "Feels like I'll never leave this place, there's no escape" or maybe because of the "fuck". But Bleed It Out has a "fuck" too. Very strange. Then for Macao 2009, they were allowed to play both again. When the Portuguese gave Macao back to the Chinese they basically said it had to operate under autonomy until 2049, so that explains why the Chinese government isn't meddling in the affairs of a concert in Macao.

Ah c'mon, With You and Points are great. COG is starting to sound alright live. Don't Stay is great but it was played SO much from 2003-2008 so you can see why they dropped it for a while. It'll come back someday. SOTD is part of the Medley, I doubt they'll play the full one live again anytime soon. BITS and Blackout were fantastic but unfortunately they didn't last long in the sets I'd like to see both live. WTCFM isn't confirmed to even be gone yet (even though Set C didn't appear in Australia). It's possible it will return on the Asia Tour.

I'm pretty sure eventually we will get some early DSPs. I mean your first sentence is proved wrong just by High Voltage from Wantagh 2001 becoming available a month or so ago haha. We will definitely get more demos on LPU CDs too. Pictureboard I think will surface one day too.

Like Astat said, we only add rehearsals if fans are in attendance or a recording surfaces. Most likely though it's the fans in attendance that lets us add it. Burbank 2008 rehearsal, etc. Madrid 2010, Sunrise 2011 (both preshow) are good examples of fans being there. And Bristow 2012 of course. We don't have Live 8 added because even though someone likely could have stood outside and written down what they played, the fact of the matter is that no one did and we have zero information from it. It looks like Kanye came out for at least something at that rehearsal too. And perhaps Mike rehearsed the song with The Roots that day (someone had mentioned he was performing with them on the day of Live 8) too. We could assume the rehearsal was the same setlist they did at Live 8 but we don't really know so it wouldn't be worth adding sadly. -
Maybe a rock cover or two. Whole Lotta Love would be great. Regardless, whatever Slash and Chester do will be solid.

It was a really long time between the Jakarta shows (2004 and 2011) so I wouldn't think they'd play there again this year. Probably Seoul, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore for sure as well as maybe a few headlining Japan shows. They can easily play Yokohama, Nagoya or Sendai. I wouldn't think they'd rehearse and just go over for like 3-4 shows. I'd say about 9 or 10. I don't think LP will ever return to China. It doesn't have to do with the North Korea situation but think more on the lines of this. That was May 2011, that explains no China shows in 2011 and I'll bet money they don't go back. The Chinese government has to approve (original document) each international performance there and I am pretty positive they'll never allow the band to go back.

If the band or management would reply to a single thing we've sent them about DSPs, I'd be glad to get this started. I've emailed, called and tweeted....zero replies.

Like a good quality version of it? Isn't the webcast already common?

Sorry for being dumb but what is that picture of? Looks like Projekt Revolution 2002 judging by the stage design. So is it My December live from PR02? Because we have a video of that, although kind of shitty. I just got a higher res version of the one that's on YouTube, from an LPU archive. Marc Ostrick reportedly filmed them doing a rehearsal in LA (which we have the clips of Esaul and Slip from) as well as a full 30 minute Hybrid Theory band live show. So there is no telling what they performed there. I mean that's pretty much as holy grail as it gets because they might have even played a song we don't even know of. Maybe Slip live, Pictureboard live, song demos of known songs on Hybrid Theory, etc. Who knows. The original OSC live video would be cool to see. If the link was online at one point surely it's out there somewhere. Hmm. And yes the Sao Paulo epic factor was destroyed with Camden, which is an epic show. Yeah what people need to understand is almost every epic thing we've posted ever on LPLive has just fallen into our hands randomly. MV04 I literally got an email one day with a guy saying he had it for me (the taper) haha. Spent years getting MFR 2005, so glad that finally came. We are always working on getting more stuff (even now) but stuff that is known is pretty difficult to get. It's the unknown stuff that we usually can obtain. Smokeout 2003 I think we will get someday. They were so willing to upload Breaking The Habit, Papercut, Points Of Authority and the clips file for us. However WBR probably told them "WTF are you doing?" and that's the end of that. Maybe something can be done someday.

On This Date: 10 Years Ago - Projekt Revolution 2003
hahninator replied to hahninator's topic in Newswire
Remember Brad at the Zurich M&G in 2009? You: Will you play A.06? Brad: Yeah sometime I will play it. Me: (next person in line) Hey will you play A.06 today? Brad: Not today but I will do it sometime. Ha. -
Pretty common, wouldn't see it go for more than $5 although I'm sure $10 has been charged for it haha.

Many of you have seen us post "Today on this date...." posts on our social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter) and we thought that today was a special one that warranted a post on the site. Ten years ago today, Linkin Park kicked off their second ever Projekt Revolution Tour - Projekt Revolution 2003. The first show was in University Park, Pennsylvania at the Bryce Jordan Center (show page here). In addition to a brand new setlist, LP debuted 'P5hng Me A*wy' and 'Nobody's Listening' at this show. Christian from Blindside joined them for the end of P5hng and then came back out on 'One Step Closer' later in the show. And Xzibit joined them for 'Nobody's Listening'. Wow! This performance is also the only video recording we have of Projekt Revolution 2003, meaning it's the only video we have of 'Hit The Floor' live! We thought you'd enjoy these videos (even they are pretty common) as we remember that it was TEN years ago that the band kicked off PR03 and ten years ago that Meteora was released!

Wasn't that good of an LPTV for some reason for me...really enjoyed the 2007 one from that tour a lot more. Was there one for 2010? Astonishing that they were going to play the Ballad Medley at Soundwave haha, glad Shinoda made an executive decision to get that shit out of there and add OSC to the end. Professional. As Chester "WHO THE FUCK PUT THAT THERE?" Hahahaha.
