  1. That's right. I'm sure it's not that great, maybe 'She Couldn't' is even better (which I really like a lot) but I'd still like to hear it. It's hyped up so much so it'd be cool just to have it. Holy grail items left in my opinion: (live stuff) - A live Xero show - A live show pre-Orlando 2000 (like 1998, 1999, or early 2000) - Smokeout 2003 full proshot (ooooh man) - Rock am Ring 2007 full proshot - Marc Ostrick videos (Esaul rehearsal, Slip rehearsal, maybe even other stuff) - Pre-2007 DSPs (PR04, MWT 04, UK fall 2003, etc) and last but not least: -Making of Minutes to Midnight (Webster Hall movie theater showing version) Also, speaking of Boston 2000 (http://lplive.net/shows/20001129.php), I am not entirely sure that the mp3 of 'Forgotten' from that show isn't from something else. Worth taking a look into. Some of the stuff like audience recordings from Texas 2003 would be cool but not holy grail worthy in my opinion.
  2. Numb is the most overplayed song the band has. Ending an LPU Tour show with Numb would be just a joke lol. Numb literally has been played at every single legit LP show since mid 2003. Crazy.
  3. Agree 100%. Wow I almost would change my vote if Numb was the last song haha. Can we get Numb to never be played live ever again? Ha. But Meteora is great. I haven't seen any of the songs you listed.
  4. Actually I think that's a good idea to implement.
  5. No answer as expected.
  6. Also here is some proof that LP does edit vocals out of the LPU songs sometimes: "During a 2003 LPU chat, Brad mentioned that the clip of the lyrics "just drag it out, remember" in the Making of Meteora DVD were a part of the song A6 (titled A.06 on the LPU 2 CD and A-Six on the LPU 9 CD)."
  7. Awesome corrections. Thanks for all that research, wow.
  8. Favorite venues, hmm. Ferropolis in Grafenhainichen in 2009 was fucking sweet. Since LP came on in the day time, they had lights on the "transformers" (what we called them haha, the big machinery there) that started with the WID Ambo Intro. That was a really sweet venue. One tiny road in and it's surrounded by water. Jiffy Lube Live this past summer was a cool US venue. On top of a huge hill, sightlines are great, the place was just packed and it was a very enjoyable day there. Or two days actually. I was really excited to see Jones Beach but I wasn't that big of a fan due to the shitty weather and us being so tired.
  9. Just because a band member says the song will be played doesn't mean it'll be played haha. Remember Projekt Revolution 2008? Those that came back from that rehearsal said No Roads Left was on a setlist and then the countless M&Gs throughout the tour where Mike told questioning fans "Yes we will play it this tour sometime". They probably rehearsed 'I'LL BE GONE' and decided not to play it at the 2013 shows.
  10. Because the download links change SO much. You think you have a reliable link and it goes down. linkinparkmedia, MegaUpload, etc. Shit happens to all of the links and they have ever since we started this site so I don't think that's a good idea.
  11. You could technically put demos of the LPJZ songs on the Collision Course documentary list. Big Pimpin w/ Chester's headphones comment, etc haha.
  12. This is a true fact. However I don't think Shinoda would have wanted to know what demos we had if he was just going to release stuff we already had. I believe technically speaking there are difference in the WID (MS remix), ITE (LPU11) and all the rest, except Forgotten from LPU12. That is the first song we've gotten that we already had in that exact same form. So that's really cool they've only had ONE song on the LPU demo CDs (LPU9, LPUX, LPU11, LPU12) that the fans already had. And hardcore ones at that - surely over half of the LPU didn't even know about it haha. We've gotten some total gems on the LPU albums. Esaul, Across The Line, What We Don't Know, etc. I know we bitch at the end of the day about so many instrumentals but hey at least the band is releasing some stuff to us and ones like Halo, Coal, Broken Foot, Soundtrack, Program, etc are pretty sweet. LPU12 is my least favorite one because yeah, I liked the Meteora instrumental demos on LPU11 a lot (I really wanted to hear more of the band's sound on that album) but 12 had an excess of the instrumentals for my taste. Bunker, Clarity, Ominous, Pepper. I could have just done with Homecoming, Asbestos, So Far Away, and Debris. However, those are 4 legit demos we didn't have before and the instrumentals at the end of the day are neat so I'm down for whatever they give us. I understand what you're saying but I think you have to be a bit naive though if you think some of these instrumentals didn't have vocals on them. Now that we know they edited Across The Line, Faint and Sad before putting them on the LPU9 CD, we can safely assume some of these other songs have had edits done. I'd assume Faint (LPU9) had rough chorus vocals, Figure.09 had rough verse vocals, etc. Asbestos maybe had rough chorus vocals. MTM demos probably had vocal scats like the LOATR demo, etc. Maybe not all of them but probably a few were removed. It's not a big deal at the end of the day because I'd probably not want some of that stuff released either if I was the band lol. We've gotten some great, full "b-sides" (what I call completed songs from an album that didn't make the cut) and those are easily my favorite. What We Don't Know, Blue, Slip, Across The Line, So Far Away. Hopefully one from Meteora makes the cut for LPU13. I'd say the general consensus is the hardcore fans would like to hear 1 full, completed Meteora b-side not on the album that has vocals.
  13. They were released on the downloads website so I would assume they were copyrighted in that regard but I might be wrong.
  14. I'm sure we will get 10 songs, 1 will be with vocals, like a Papercut demo, and 1 will be something we already have, like a Pts.Of.Athrty demo, and 8 will be varying instrumentals with no vocals from MTM and ATS. No LT I bet.
  15. Adios to a USA tour until like mid 2014 or later. Damn. Really fooled us with the clues :/
  16. I trust Adam pretty much on most stuff since he works for them but he has been wrong before about stuff, like the Across The Line version on the LPU9 acetate CD. He said no way is that real, no way is Faint real, no way is Sad real, etc. But honestly he just didn't know haha. Hopefully LP returns. I hope it's legit.
  17. I guess it could be in Got News? but ever since we started the site we've posted tour/show rumors on the homepage. It's an LPLive thing. If LP is rumored to play in Austria in July, bam we'll post it as a rumor in the Newswire.
  18. I mean I don't take every single thing the band says as a 100% fact. We have had plenty of statements in te past that have turned out to be not true. Album in 2009, etc. 2009 though they said only one USA show the whole year. Then bam they do transformers 2 show and the Pomona epicenter show.
  19. Latest clue: First show was on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. LP-wise: Whiskey A Go Go is on Sunset Blvd. They also said the part about "ok maybe you can guess the headliner". All clues point right toward LP, I mean it's pretty obvious now. If its not them then I will e surprised and this will be a pretty big mind fuck. Pic of Brad, all clues fit LP, we know they asked LP to return again, etc.
  20. Look at the picture of Brad from the Uncasville 2012 show, compare the lights to the pic in the original post and look how Brad is holding the guitar. And Mansfield. I was skeptical at first but that looks exactly like him. I mean exactly. Same production and everything that Linkin Park used last year.
  21. I am pretty sure Incubus uses mics like that. Astat says "It's a PRS nf-3 or dc-3 which Brad uses on With You and Runaway now, so possibly."
  22. Why would they go through the effort of editing that picture that looks to be Brad?
  23. Production (lights, etc) looks exactly like the 2008 North American Tour in the winter. I mean exactly.
  24. On the Honda Civic Tour Facebook page, a picture of a guitarist that looks eerily similar to our own Brad Delson (even with the headphones) has been posted with the following clues about the 2013 HCT headliner being revealed: - Grammy award winning (check) - On a worldwide tour (maybe not right this second, but LP is on the LIVING THINGS World Tour) - Met in school (check) - First Show was at a venue on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood (At Whiskey A Go Go) - Singer has tattoos (check) - Past Saturday Night Live performer (check) - West Coast Based (check) - Album Released in 2012 (check) - A hit single features an emcee (check) They are running a contest called Guess The Headliner as well: "You’ll never guess who’s headlining the 2013 Honda Civic Tour. (OK, maybe you will.) When you submit a guess, you’ll be entered for a chance to ask the headliner an interview question in person at a private video shoot in Hollywood. The trip to LA for you and a guest will include air, hotel and fun!" In December, we heard that the tour had asked Linkin Park to come back for another Honda Civic Tour as well. What do you think? EDIT: It is now confirmed that Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson will be featured on the 2013 Honda Civic Tour.
