  1. Great list. On this one, Chester must not sing it all the time. Referring to the staff emails you've been getting about something, we can confirm at least for that show he doesn't sing anything on that part.
  2. Holy sweet fuck Shinoda was in the zone on that APFMH performance. Wow. Really cool. ITE clearly won the poll (fuck the casual fans lol...not really but fuck them for 1 song since ITE is played at every show) but they did APFMH anyway. Hell yeah. It's no secret he and Chester absolutely love playing this song. Chester makes it clear every time gear breaks and he wants to play APFMH but Shinoda just made it clear on that performance. I hope the rest of the band loves it as much as they do lol. Damn they absolutely nailed it. So much energy. First time I've heard Brad play the intro straight to the first verse guitar part in many years.
  3. Yep! Seems the casual fans will definitely miss it but hey, the band has been everywhere in the world almost the last 12 years for you to see it so hey it's time to switch it up and play something different! APFMH isn't played much 2004-now, just a few tours. I'd rather have APFMH than any other song, like you. Great track. Added the drum solo note to BIO. The encore suddenly is a lot better.
  4. Holy shit, the impossible happened. They replaced In The End which has been played at every show the last million years for APFMH. Hell yes, epic. I'll take it all day. Set A just got 10x better with it. With You, Points, APFMH, VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY), Given Up...all in Set A. Great!!! Nice job LP. Is this the beginning of them realizing they don't have to play every "single" every show? Just swapping ITE for APFMH makes the encore a million times better. Really fucking cool they did this. I wonder if Shinoda lurked on the forums recently and saw all the talk about APFMH..... Similar to what happened with LFY/LOATR in Fall 2010 in Europe.
  5. MFR counts as OSC closing. Live 8 wasn't a headline show. That's why I list that. I will make a note of QWERTY.
  6. I wonder if they'll play a show between Australia and Japan.
  7. Damn I meant Wretches. I think the "hey hey hey" is sampled there. On WTCFM I meant the chorus chant Chester does...I know he sings his part and Mike's mic is on but the rest of the band seems lipsynched. I agree with you.
  8. What songs do you notice the band lipsynching on live? IN MY REMAINS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UONRHZCn974 2:47 "one by one" Phoenix appears to sing...he is audible at the very end of the song in some DSPs but it seems like most of the "one by one" stuff is sampled. Iridescent: gang bridge vocals are 100% completely sampled, Chester comes in when the drums hit full force and sings over the sampled vocals. I don't know if Mike's mic is completely muted or not but Rob, Phoenix and Joe singing is pretty much bullshit here lol unless they have their mics WAY turned down almost inaudible When They Come For Me: on the "hey hey hey" Maybe The Catalyst on the "no"? Not really sure on this one. Chester does one of the "ho ohhh" parts each verse. Can't tell if Mike's "no ohhh" is sampled or not. I don't think Joe's mic even is used on anything live lol, I think it's 100% for show.
  9. Oh I hope this mix is ok...the mix in the theaters for the audio was really bad
  10. Weird. http://lplive.net/images/showphotos/20130226/setlist.jpg Wesley pointed out something interesting. Why would they have to change this setlist at all? Why not just print more for the show like they usually do? Is it possible they were going to open with New Divide and swap it with Faint, but changed it back at the last minute? Something to think about, but there's only one more headline show on this tour so they probably won't play the full A again for us to find out.
  11. Yeah I agree. Hopefully the new stuff is stuff they can perform live without lipsynching. *cough*WTCFM, Iridescent, IMR*cough*
  12. The sound of the DSPs change so much so it becomes kind of weird listening to them. For example on the way to Muse I put in a mix CD from 2011 with some 2010 live LP songs. Papercut from Nottingham 2010, Wretches from London 2010, etc. The guitar sounds sooooooo different. Not sure what's up with the guitar mixing from that era. Then compare Faint from 2010 to Faint from 2007 and 2008....way different. Is it the mixing or did they change their gear?
  13. That's what the workprint is for Milton Keynes I believe. And the Istanbul audio, straight from the soundboard I think. So we should have a couple of them out there.
  14. How did I miss this? Are there any updates to it? If so I can post it in Newswire.
  15. Wow Metallica already has the Brisbane show on the 23rd up. http://www.livemetallica.com/live-music/0,...isbane-AUS.html However I heard what they do is record the show and just track it out and upload it, they don't really do any edits to it or mix it afterwards or anything. I guess if they want it raw then that's fine....most of their shows sound solid. LP likes to take the million multitracks and remix the entire show lol. And edit all sorts of stuff.
  16. On the 27th, Linkin Park plays its final headlining show of the LIVING THINGS New Zealand/Australia Tour. Billed as a Sidewave show (aka all non-Soundwave shows that a Soundwave band plays in Australia around the festival dates), this show takes place at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena. This will be LP's seventh show in Melbourne (2001, 2003, 2007 x2 and 2010 x2) and sixth show at Rod Laver Arena (2003, 2007 x2, 2010 x2). The band last played at this venue in 2010 with two shows on the A Thousand Suns Australia Tour (show pages here and here, show threads here and here). Rod Laver Arena is the site of the live debuts of 'Blackout' and 'Burning In The Skies' at that second night in 2010, both of which are unfortunately not being played on this tour. If you've been with us at LPLive since 2007 when we started covering shows, you'll remember that this is also the location in October 2007 where Chester jumped off of the top of the stage and broke his wrist. Since Sydney had a Soundwave show followed by a Sidewave show, Melbourne will be doing just the opposite and will host a Sidewave show on the 27th before the band plays a Soundwave show on the 1st of March. This could very well be the band's last headlining show for quite some time, as the next announced tour dates for the band are in August at Japan's Summer Sonic Festival, where they will either be playing before Metallica or before Muse with likely another shortened setlist. Sydney's Sidewave show featured Set A ('TINFOIL'/'Faint' opening) likely because the Soundwave show had Festival Set B with 'A Place For My Head' opening. Melbourne could possibly get the same treatment, with the headline show getting a full A or B (the full headlining Set B still hasn't been played this tour) and the festival show getting the opposite, shortened setlist. Hopefully the full Set B makes an appearance at this show, since it has not been played since November. After this show, the band plays Soundwave in Melbourne on March 1st and closes the tour with Soundwave shows in Adelaide and Perth on March 2nd and 4th. For the full 2013 tour schedule including setlists from shows on this tour and upcoming tour dates, click here. SETLIST: 01. TINFOIL 02. Faint (Ext. Outro) 03. Papercut 04. Given Up (Ext. Outro w/ Extra Note) 05. With You (2012 Ext. Intro; 2012 Scratch Outro) 06. Somewhere I Belong (2012 Intro) 07. New Divide 08. VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY) 09. Points Of Authority 10. LIES GREED MISERY 11. Waiting For The End (Apaches Intro w/ 'UNTIL IT BREAKS' v2 rap; Ext. Outro) 12. Breaking The Habit 13. CASTLE OF GLASS 14. LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent (Ballad Medley) 15. The Catalyst 16. LOST IN THE ECHO (2012 Intro) 17. Numb 18. What I've Done 19. One Step Closer (Ext. Outro) ---------------------------------------------------- 20. BURN IT DOWN 21. A Place For My Head 22. Bleed It Out (w/ drum solo) - The band did a poll and asked the fans after 'BURN IT DOWN' whether they wanted 'In The End' or 'A Place For My Head' played. - Rob played a drum solo on the bridge of 'Bleed It Out'. Shinoda is on fire!
  17. Confirmed no DSP's for the tour. Wow. Chester seems really on this tour too.
  18. Friday and Saturday! Two shows. Now brings my Muse count to 5. They are so awesome man, you'll have a blast. One Muse shows pretty much destroys all 6 HCT shows I saw lol
  19. I was debating whether to add these to the 2013 page as Sidewave shows, since technically Soundwave calls all side shows Sidewaves (that bands from Soundwave play). I think we should.
  20. I'm surprised Reading My Eyes isn't higher but I do love And One. The top two are not surprising though. The general consensus among the hardcore fans is that P5hng and Figure.09 are epic songs, and people want to see them. If APFMH was dropped for years starting now, it'd soar to number one for sure. People love it. And it looks highly unlikely they'll ever play any of these songs again lol
  21. Yep! Exactly. That just proves my point even further. And San Jose wasn't APFMH, it was The Messenger. http://lplive.net/shows/20120606.php Bucharest http://lplive.net/shows/20120825.php Noblesville Both played because of tech problems. If the band wants to do A Place For My fucking Head then they're gonna do it. Unless they have a mega strict time restriction, which they had for Soundwave. http://lplive.net/images/showphotos/20120825/setlist.jpg Speaking of that, who in the world wrote APFMH on the show setlist? Surely that was done after the show lol Going right into my sig. Excellent quote. At least Chester enjoys playing the one song we all want to hear. Or fuck it, at least the song I love the most live by them lol.=
  22. Couldn't have said it better myself. LGM is terrible live. Easily the worst live song I've ever seen them perform.
  23. Pez can you help us out with that? Can you give us the right suburb? We want to have it correct. For 2013 I input the shows I think and based them off of the 2013 shows + what Soundwave.com said. But I am sure they might be inaccurate as you say. Let's get it fixed I have no idea how the heck this happened but SOTD isn't in the setlist at this show and Blackout goes in that spot. http://lplive.net/shows/20110910.php I wonder if we messed it up somehow for the other shows. What in the world.
