It's too early to guess the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park dates. Rock am Ring 5 june ? 6 june KINGS OF LEON 7 june ? 8 june METALLICA Rock im Park 6 june METALLICA 7 june KINGS OF LEON 8 june ? 9 june ? Waiting on Iron Maiden and Linkin Park to confirm their shows. Wow it'd be really odd to see a band play on the 5th for one and on the 9th at the other.

In other news, AJ Madden said he'd probably try to get STP for Soundwave in 2015. Ha, I'm sure LP will be full-blown into the world tour for the new album by then. I just don't see the comparison from your perspective. LP is phoning it in on some songs. All 14 songs of the STP show I saw, he was going crazy. One side of the stage to the other. In the crowd THREE times. I see LP quite a bit and they don't jam like that (Chester at least). It's common sense that the songs they LOVE include Points Of Authority, Lying From You, Papercut, A Place For My Head (!), When They Come For Me (of course, damn they jam on this one), With You, LOST IN THE ECHO and unbiasedly I will say LIES GREED MISERY even though I dislike that song. That's for recent; it changes every year but that's 8 full songs though. I am shocked the full Vegas set didn't include POA, LFY, Papercut and APFMH when that's four full songs they rock out hard on. http://lplive.net/shows/20140110.php With the exception of the WFTE intro where Mike bounces around like a straight up gangster, I will say they APPEAR to be bored with the other 13 songs in the setlist. Given Up jams every now and then (Mike and Chester). But New Divide, Somewhere I Belong (which was really rocking in 2012 but seems to be boring for them right now), most of Waiting For The End, then BTH, COG, the medley, Numb, WID, BID, ITE, BIO and especially Faint seem to be songs they could drop for more enjoyable stuff.

Cheapest LP show I've seen in years. Very cool. The band could easily headline Verona (Arena Verona, which is an AMAZING venue), Rome (PalaLottomatica), Milan (Mediolanum Forum), Torino (Palasport Olimpico), etc in Italy. I surprised they have never headlined an arena there. They have a big fanbase in Italy.

I like LP as a band much more than STP but you are misleading yourself if you've seen both LP and STP in the past year and think Chester is having more fun with LP. Watch him play Faint. Then watch any STP song from the show. He is really jamming huge. LP is phoning in songs like Faint, etc live right now and it's very obvious. If you disagree that's fine but I'm telling you Preston and I saw the band in Jacksonville and it was ridiculous. Yes all of the shows are cancelled. https://twitter.com/mtgh/status/428511158765887488/photo/1 This states Jakarta is POSTPONED (I saw it on another site too but I'm having a hard time finding the link - I'll keep looking, but it says postponed too), which is interesting. This states Dubai is cancelled: http://www.thenational.ae/arts-culture/mus...ancel-dubai-gig This is probably why they never officially announced the India show. Although AJ Madden, the Soundwave promoter, said within 4 hours of STP telling him just yesterday that they were cancelling, he found a replacement. STP is very slow with announcements/confirmations but I am surprised they haven't posted anything about the cancellation yet.

I personally thought Chester jammed 100x harder with STP than he does with LP and enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than an LP show. He talked a lot between the songs too. He seemed wayyyy happier.
-
I see this being one of two things.... 1. LP/LP mgmt want to get the LP record done ASAP and have a deadline for it coming up, and they need all the time to work on it, so the STP tour is cancelled since it's not the #1 priority. 2. Both STP and LP want their new CDs done soon, before the LP summer tour starts. There might be a deadline for the LP album of like April, since the tour starts in May or something. I guess there's really no way to know unless STP releases an album this year. I personally didn't know Chester was recording two albums at the exact same time right now.
-
Sing it to the sky, yes, but wow that 30STM Euro Tour was legit huge. They really did hit a ton of venues.

Stone Temple Pilots have cancelled all of their upcoming shows, according to the Soundwave Festival, where the band is set to play in February and March. "STONE TEMPLE PILOTS regretfully cancel all upcoming shows The recording of the new album has now gone beyond schedule and sadly the availability of the recording studio, engineers and the producer or lack thereof dictates that the band have had to cancel their upcoming engagements." The new album from the band seems to be taking up a lot of time, and you can probably bet that the Linkin Park album is also taking up a lot of time from Chester. Time is crucial since Linkin Park has a new album on the way and an upcoming summer tour starting in May, so STP and LP probably want to get both albums completed as soon as possible. The three week STP tour was set to be twelve shows in five countries. The following shows are CANCELLED: 13.02.2014 Dubai, AE, Festival Park, Dubai Jazz Festival 16.02.2014 Greater Noida, IN, Buddh International Circuit, MTV Xtreme 19.02.2014 Jakarta, ID, Tennis Indoor Stadium 22.02.2014 Bowen Hills, AUS, RNA Showgrounds, Soundwave 23.02.2014 Homebush, AUS, Olympic Park, Soundwave 25.02.2014 Newtown, AUS, Enmore Theatre, Sidewave 26.02.2014 St Kilda, AUS, Palais Theatre, Sidewave 28.02.2014 Flemington, AUS, Flemington Racecourse, Soundwave 01.03.2014 Adelaide, AUS, Bonython Park, Soundwave 03.03.2014 Claremont, AUS, Claremont Showground, Soundwave 06.03.2014 Honolulu, HI The Republik 07.03.2014 Honolulu, HI, The Republik Ouch! 2/23 EDIT: STP confirmed on Facebook that recording a new album is NOT the cause of the cancellation. Their statement reads: "We regret that, due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, our forthcoming tour dates in Australia, the Middle East and Hawaii have had to be cancelled. An initial statement citing "recording delays" wasn't true -- the conflict wasn't related to recording new STP material. We are deeply disappointed to not be able to perform these shows, and look forward to making them up in the future. -Robert, Dean, Eric and Chester" We can now safely assume this is due to Chester's recording conflicts with Linkin Park.

I don't know man, the last European Tour in 2012 was only 12 shows and featured a few countries for the first time like Romania and Ukraine. It might be another short summer run, then a USA tour. Then perhaps a legit arena headlining tour across Europe like they wanted to do in fall 2012 but it was "cancelled" for whatever reason. They're already in Europe for 2 weeks minimum on this tour. We'll see what happens. Hopefully the USA tour hits a few more markets. *cough*Florida....

Coming a few days after the 10th anniversary of the show, the fourth show in our "Meteora Tour Revisited" series is Toronto, Ontario 2004. Like Montreal (our last download), this was the band's first show in Toronto since Summer Sanitarium 2003 where it was the second show of the tour (show page here). Toronto is usually a stop on most of Linkin Park's North American tours. At this stop of the tour, we see one of the best guitar players that has ever been brought up by the band - a kid named Alex. Needless to say...he nails it. This is also the show that has the recording of Mike's wireless mic feed. Popularly referred to as an IEM (in ear monitor) recording over the years, we learned recently that that is not correct and it's actually the wireless mic feed. We will be posting that recording soon. There are some big gaps between shows with recordings coming up, so we are saving it for one of those posts. SETLIST: 01. With You (Reanimation-style) 02. Runaway (Transition Intro) 03. Papercut 04. Points Of Authority 05. Don't Stay (Ambient Intro) 06. Somewhere I Belong 07. It's Goin' Down (Acapella Intro) 08. Lying From You 09. Nobody's Listening (Ext. Outro) 10. Breaking The Habit (Long Piano Intro) 11. From The Inside (Ext. Intro) 12. Faint (with Sal) 13. Numb 14. Crawling (Short KRWLNG Intro) 15. In The End (Short Ambient Intro) ---------------------------------------------------- 16. My December (Guitar Transition Outro) 17. P5hng Me A*wy 18. A Place For My Head (Ext. Intro & Bridge) 19. One Step Closer (Reanimated Bridge; w/ Sonny Sandoval, Doug Robb & Dan Marsala) DVD Video (torrent from LPL) | DOWNLOAD Show page We are covering the entire North American tour with all known CIRCULATED recordings (meaning we will not be posting anything that is uncirculated, like San Diego, the Texas shows, etc). Next up is Rosemont on the 29th. The first download was Uniondale, the second was Cleveland and the third was Montreal. Enjoy!

The LP Italy fansite has just put out a tweet saying that Linkin Park will be returning to Italy for the first time in three years this summer! "Announced by radio (Virgin): Italy show on June 10th, location TBA." Yesterday (the 27th), the website posted an article about a rumored show in Italy that will be announced soon. At this point, we can rule out Sonisphere again since it takes place this year on July 1st in Rome. The last show for the band in Italy was in Imola for Sonisphere 2011 (show page here). They headlined Heinekin Jammin' in 2008 (show page here) after a storm forced the festival to be cancelled in 2007, which the band was also on the bill for. However, the band has not headlined their OWN show in the country since the first show of the LP Underground Tour in February 2003 (show page here)! Stay tuned for more information about the show when it becomes available. For the list of dates that have been announced for this summer so far, click here. 1/29 EDIT: Linkin Park confirms the show here. "Ciao Italia - we are coming to Milan on June 10th, 2014 and will be playing at the Alfa Romeo City Sound Festival. LPU members can grab pre-sale tickets starting on Wednesday January, 29th at 3am PST (12:00pm Italian Time). The LPU pre-sale will last 48 hours. General sale will begin Friday January, 31st at 1am PST (10:00am Italian Time). A presto"

My fault on the Atlanta recording. I removed it a year ago or so because the master copy has been deleted from what I know about it. I forgot a few songs were out, haha. -
Toronto coming later today. Didn't want to rush it since Montreal hasn't been up long.
-
We'll save that for a gap in the tour since there are a few lengthy stretches with no shows. But yes we'll post it.

Thanks for the post! When I put the DVD download up later today, I'll embed your video.

STONE TEMPLE PILOTS Interviewed By FanPass.tv's MATT PINFIELD
hahninator replied to Qwerty95k's topic in Stone Temple Pilots
This was from the Jacksonville show. Pretty funny. -
In a move that will certainly please Linkin Park fans in India, Stone Temple Pilots have confirmed their appearance in India in February. According to Rolling Stone India, the band will be playing on February 16th at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, India. This will be a show for MTV Xtreme and will feature a few other bands. Tickets are on sale right now for the show and can be found here. In October, Robert from STP confirmed the India show, saying Mumbai would be the city they play, but the confirmation today shows that it will be in Greater Noida, about 50 kilometers east of Delhi. We typically don't post Stone Temple Pilots news on the homepage since we save it for our STP section in the forum, but this is a pretty big announcement for LP fans in India! Linkin Park India Unlimited, a fansite for the band in India, has been trying to get the band to their country for years and appears to be close. A show was reportedly in talks to happen for the Asia 2011 tour but the plans fell through. However, new rumors suggest the band to be heading back to Asia possibly around the end of the year or early next year, so perhaps LP will play their first show in India then if an agreement can be reached. The band is well aware of the India campaign, as referenced by Adam's latest Instagram post as well as comments Mike has made over the years to the fans there. With such heavyweights as Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Backstreet Boys playing in India, it is likely that the band will finally visit the country in the near future. Linkin Park, on its last world tour for LIVING THINGS, visited a few countries for the first time, including Ukraine, Romania and South Africa and returned to a few others for the first time in a long time like Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines and Malaysia. India is one of the largest countries population-wise that the band has yet to visit on tour. We expect this to be one of the best shows of the upcoming International STP Tour, which kicks off on February 13th in Dubai.

Congrats! This is huge for the India fans. If the STP shows go well and you guys can relay a message to Chester about how much you want LP there, then you might be successful on the next LP world tour. It would not surprise me to see the band perform there when they hit Asia next for their new album. The lengths the fans there have gone to in order to get the band to India are incredible. EDIT: Don't worry about the official announcement yet, lol, the STP website is fucked and the band is being weird with announcements lately. The three shows in Melbourne thing is really weird.

I'll reply about my thoughts on the quality of the package after receiving it (I have it but I'll type it up another day) but I do listen to Basquiat, Cumulus, Pretty Birdy and Primo 100x more than any other songs on any LPU CD since LPU 9. I have given it a few months and I am still listening to those 4 REGULARLY and that says something for me. On LPU 9, Across The Line, A-Six, etc were going for months but with 10, 11 and 12 I never found any songs I consistently listened to for months after that. LPU XIII has definitely changed that finally. We got some GREAT demos here (why the fuck is Cumulus not on an album).
-
Definitely not a fan of the release....music seems inferior to the quality of their other works. I guess it's different when you're composing a score versus writing actual songs. Bring on the third record
-
Going by just what I know about these songs, The Battle (Full Version) was re-recorded later. It's obvious from the recording but I just wanted to make sure people knew that, lol. I believe Mike has answered in an interview somewhere about the one on The Rising Tied in regards to its length since it just cuts off, but I'm not 100% certain. No idea where that would be though. Cover And Duck, All Night and SCOM are without the remix skips, you're right. The versions of the songs on the We Major "EP" and the Get It/Spraypaint vinyl/CD (whatever it is, maybe it's both) I think are even without the DJ Green Lantern overdubs (on Spraypaint) and random other crap (on Get It). I do know for a fact that the leaked version of Spraypaint & Inkpens from Lupe's website is without that stuff too, since that's the first thing we got from the mixtape after LPA posted Nobody's Listening, but someone on here showed me that it's the same version that's on the Get It/Spraypaint release. (Insert random note here by me about how fucking underrated Spraypaint is and how it should have been on The Rising Tied instead of Be Somebody...) I need to add all of the versions without the rewinds to my iTunes since I hate the talking/rewinds on We Major. I think 100 Degrees was edited by fans too to remove the rewinds.

Darn! I guess this is a problem with downloading a band's discography from the Internet and so many different sources having songs, etc. I didn't have it and it's not in my collection, but mine is pretty unorganized in iTunes. Along with Stereo Left and Right and the Demonstrate EP, I have the LPA demo folders on there but then a big mess of other stuff like "Sixty Seven One" which is just "God Bless" etc (completely unnecessary to have the same song twice in my iTunes, I know). I need to reorganize it ASAP so I make sure I have all of the songs and remove the duplicates. Thanks for the heads up. The ending of the band is/was sad; their genre was very easy on the ears and straightforward, great rock, but it jams when it needs to. It's the same thing I guess that happened to Holly Brook and Styles Of Beyond. No offense to Machine Shop (and I'm sure there's a lot more behind it than what we know) but they had artists with GREAT talent signed but for some reason stuff wasn't being released. I think the Internet and its tools for independent bands in today's world for TRF would have been very efficient. I couldn't imagine a legit, debut record from them doing badly - the quality of their songs is very strong. EDIT: Where on the tracklisting is it? I can't figure out where Mojave is, lol. Another possible scenario is that the copies of Left/Right that you have might have a different tracklisting? The only things we're still searching for from TRF are these 2 CDs: "5 Track demo (Energy: early demonstrate!) 1. The game you cant win 2. Bridges under water 3. (no title yet) 4. New york city blackout 5. New york city blackout (radio edit) 9 Track demo 1. Gage Park 2. Echoes 3. Last dance 4. Last lullaby 5. (no title yet) 6. (no title yet) 7. If your friend was drowning, you would help them, right? 8. A beginning to no ending (acoustic) 9. Omaha"
