Our Los Angeles preshow post will cover everything. And that will be up ASAP the second the Las Vegas show is done. We're waiting until after the Las Vegas show because the exact details of the LP.com webcast (the link, the start time, etc) haven't been announced yet. -
Linkin Park and Steve Aoki have announced that they are releasing a remix EP for 'A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES' on January 21st. The EP will come out on Dim Mak Records. The Indaba "Surface Remix Project" Contest winner, Brian Yates, has his remix on the EP as a prize for winning and it also features the Rick Rubin remix, found on RECHARGED, and the free Vicetone remix. Fans will be treated to four new remixes on the EP, which will go up for preorder soon. A surprising omission is the , found in the "Making of ALTNC" LPTV video. Preview the mixes on Steve Aoki's Soundcloud page or in the YouTube video below. Tracklisting: 1. A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES (Rick Rubin Reboot) 2. A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES (Vicetone Remix) 3. A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES (Angger Dimas Remix) 4. A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES (twoloud Remix) 5. A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES (Coone Remix) 6. A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES (Vicetone Remix Dub) 7. A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES (Brian Yates Remix) Preorder details will be released shortly.

Actually I do think it's a DVD. I will double check. I personally don't have this but I believe the reason it can't be released is MTV isn't allowed to post it and the guy who has it would get destroyed by them. Unfortunately things like this happen and there's not much we can do about it besides sit and wait and hope it is leaked or released one day. WBR does go after people like that, like with Smokeout 2003's film company, who won't return emails or phone calls at all about the show years later even though they promised they'd upload the whole thing ASAP way back when. Obviously WBR told them to shut the fuck up and not release anything else. That's probably why their montage of the whole show got taken down. I wish we would have secured the whole show before that....

The many live versions of My December (per Mark's request)
hahninator replied to Astat's topic in Live Talk
I agree. I am very surprised that the Tokyo Zepp 2006 show never had a recording. Usually tapers hit that venue really successfully. That's the QWERTY live debut and the debut for a lot of other stuff as well. I guess we can't complain if we got 3 out of 4 recordings from the tour though. I guess we'll never figure out the source of the Sendai show. I never understood how it hit the Internet the day after the show without anyone knowing where it really came from. -
Yes. After many years of broken promises, traders fucking us over, bad deals, lost money, etc....Felipe managed to set up the deal to get MFR and a bunch of other exclusives, including London 2001. All of that went down at the same time. Very appreciated and I am forever in debt for that. He set it up and we executed. He has collaborated with us on many exclusives over the years successfully and he singlehandedly has liberated more shows to the LP community than anyone else as far as I know. Nick is a close second with great work on things like Yokohama 2003, etc. Love him (like us) or hate him (like some), Felipe will go down in the community as someone that has done a lot of good and has brought many shows to fans. And he's not done. As an admin here, I can't thank him enough for the work he's done. It's tiring and frustrating, and you get burned a lot (losing lots of money, including us), but the reward of releasing shows years later is a great thing. Exactly. Keep doing what you're doing. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showforum=75 ^ A large portion of this, as well as a lot of other shows out there, including a few we haven't released yet, came from the hard work of Felipe. Sometimes problems come from simple miscommunications. From talking with Felipe directly a lot over the years, I know that the Vansmack taper, who taped Devore 2004 (a highly sought after, rare, Projekt Rev 2004 recording), was the right guy Felipe tracked down and was just lying about not having the show. He gave the runaround and so by Felipe (and others) contacting every Vansmack on the Internet, of course he got pissed. Fuck it. The tooldvn guy (taper of Worcester 2003, Foxboro 2003 and Worcester 2004) gave him the runaround for years too and was just an asshole about things. There's two sides to everything. Felipe in my opinion has done 1,000,000x more positive things than negative things in the LP community. D7, your work here is greatly appreciated by all of us as well. These masters have been hunted for years and it's incredible you finally got ahold of them.

I think it's LP.com for the Internet webcast (that still hasn't been announced anywhere besides KROQ.com) and for mobile users it's on the AXS.tv mobile app (for iPhone and Android). I don't think it's on actual TV from what I can tell, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe we need to ask Mark Cuban haha -
On the 10th, Linkin Park plays their first show in almost five months as they take a break from the studio to play two Music For Relief shows in Las Vegas and Los Angeles on back-to-back days. These two cities were also lucky enough to be the only U.S. cities to feature the band in 2013 as well, when LP played a one-off show in Las Vegas last February (show page here) and then played the Sunset Strip Music Festival in L.A. in August (show page here). Linkin Park has performed a show in Las Vegas in each of the last three years, making this their fourth year in a row playing the city. This show will take place at The Joint @ Hard Rock Hotel, a venue LP is no stranger to. They first played this venue in June 2003 as a warmup show for Summer Sanitarium (show page here). In 2007 they played outside of the Hard Rock Hotel, but in 2008 they played played back-to-back shows at The Joint on their North American Winter Tour in 2008 (show pages here and here). Later that year, they were scheduled to play there for the third time in a year, but the show was cancelled along with the Asian Tour when Chester hurt his back. Most recently, the band played there in August 2011 when they did two similar shows in Vegas (show page here) and Los Angeles. That was when the band played their tsunami relief show at The Mayan in L.A. with B'z. Since there are just two shows on this short break from the studio, we shouldn't expect many changes to what the band has been playing live. The LIVING THINGS World Tour ended last August in Asia, where the band rotated between Set A and Set B for the tour. It is likely both of these shows will have the same setlist with something very similar to A or B once again. We don't expect LP to fully change anything up until this summer. Something cool is likely to take place in Los Angeles in the form of a collaboration (or two), but we will cover that when we get to our Los Angeles show thread! Luckily, that show will be streamed live. Originally booked as a show where people that donated to the Music For Relief Typhoon Haiyan relief could "win" access to the performance, this show was later opened up to the general public as Linkin Park booked the Los Angeles "Concert for the Philippines." For now, we have the show listed as a "MFR & Power The World Benefit" show, but that might change depending on what takes place at the show. Do you expect the band to keep everything in tact from 2013 in the set? Or do you think they'll change one or two things? 'LOST IN THE ECHO' opened the set once, at KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas 2012......do you think that has a chance to open up these two shows? Or what about 'My December' being played? Or anything else off of LIVING THINGS? SETLIST: 01. Wake 02. Given Up (Ext. Outro w/ Extra Note) 03. New Divide 04. With You (2012 Scratch Intro; Ext. Scratch Outro) 05. Somewhere I Belong (2012 Intro) 06. LIES GREED MISERY 07. Empty Spaces 08. When They Come For Me 09. Waiting For The End (Apaches Intro w/ 'UNTIL IT BREAKS' v2; Wall of Noise Outro) 10. Breaking The Habit 11. CASTLE OF GLASS 12. LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent (Ballad Medley) 13. LOST IN THE ECHO (2012 Intro) 14. Numb (Outro 'Numb/Encore' Lyrics Tease (Mike/Chester)) 15. What I've Done 16. BURN IT DOWN 17. In The End 18. Bleed It Out (Ext. Bridge w/ Chorus Sing-a-long; Ext. Outro) ---------------------------------------------------- 19. Faint (Ext. Outro) 20. One Step Closer (Ext. Outro)

It's coming as soon as Steve releases the show.

I listened live and it really wasn't anything interesting. It really just seemed like a promo spot for the performance. MSC covered it well including a download: http://mikeshinodaclan.com/2014/01/linkin-...ne-audio-video/

I guess either they aren't ready to announce it yet or Examiner announced wrong information. I don't know why Examiner would have wrong info, though.

Does anyone have it yet? I am buying it soon.

Ethan Mates has been in the studio for quite a few months with Linkin Park. I'm very surprised by this point we haven't received any information regarding The Mall score/soundtrack, at least.

Around 8:00pm PST I would assume.

The Arras 2011 one looks really interesting. That venue is awesome.
