  1. http://www.youtube.com/user/lpjaydog/videos The video of Joe smashing his turntables at Lisbon 2004 was uploaded here. Now it's gone along with another backstage Live 8 video. Did anyone happen to archive them at all over the years?
  2. Will anyone get their wish for the 2 upcoming shows? Doubt it lol CFTI maybe but I bet that's the extent of any changes.
  3. Recently our staff member [AndOne] and friend Skipees ran across some mysterious, but great old live pictures. They turned out to be from the linkinpark.com photo gallery from late 2001 to Projekt Revolution 2002. We actually haven't ever seen these pictures before and we've been going strong since 2006, so we grabbed them and are offering them for download below. Some of them are from the London Docklands 2001 show while the others are from random Projekt Revolution 2002 shows, as far as we know, but there might be a few exceptions. They seem to be sourced from videos from that era. You'll notice a few pictures of 'My December' live as well as a shot of Phoenix playing cello (from KROQ AAC 2001). DOWNLOAD .zip (35 .jpg images) Enjoy!
  4. Wow, fantastic news. Surely they'll have to start rehearsing soon....it usually takes them a while to get in the groove for things again, even if it's just a few one-off shows.
  5. The 2009 tour was solely because of New Divide. That was the big push for the tour to happen. 2006 was just an escape from the studio tour but I still classify it as the end of the Meteora cycle. When new songs pop in, I start a new cycle. For these 2 shows, it's the LT world tour still. Perhaps they play another LT song there. If not, they're still playing a setlist similar to what they played in 2013, most likely. I'd definitely be up for a debate if they come out swinging with a 100% different setlist for these two shows but that is very unlikely.
  6. Great finds. I haven't seen almost any of these before. The one of Chester in the crowd is really cool...people going to big lengths to get to him haha. It's good we have this stuff archived here. I think I'll do a news post soon of all of them just so people who haven't seen them can check them out.
  7. Wow, great information. We will add it for sure!

  10. Yes. Look at the 2007 page. Opening for Pearl Jam in Europe. For shows where LP opens for another bands that is NOT a festival, we list it. This is really for all post 2001 era shows where LP had been headlining but then played a few shows opening for other bands. Sonisphere 2009, Lisbon 2007 (Pearl Jam after LP there too), etc...we don't list that since it's a festival lineup.
  11. wtf @ Phoenix's look
  12. Please no unless LP wants a guy to stand there and sing one line of a song and hold the microphone out for the crowd to sing the rest while he yells "SING IT TO THE SKY" at the top of his lungs.
  13. I think the full headline set is right. It appears they did another soundcheck before the show but it's hard to tell from the radio station's Instagram picture who exactly is on stage there (STP or not since there are tons of people on the stage). Maybe some collective jam session or something lol
  14. Awesome. You guys are great and are a big help. Adding it all now.
  15. On the 15th, Stone Temple Pilots close their Winter USA Tour with a show at The Joint @ Hard Rock Hotel, a venue Chester is very familiar with as Linkin Park has played there quite often in recent years and will play it again in January. This will be show seven of seven for the tour and will be the band's last show until they kick off their International Tour in February, taking them to Dubai, Indonesia, India, Australia and Hawaii. This show is dubbed the KOMP Totally Politically Correct Holiday Bash and will feature Stone Temple Pilots headlining with P.O.D. and Sick Puppies opening.
  16. On the 14th, Stone Temple Pilots played their sixth show out of seven shows on their Winter USA Tour. This show took them to Ontario, California to the Citizens Business Bank Arena for X103.9's Merry Meltdown. The lineup for the show was Korn, Stone Temple Pilots, Sick Puppies, Big B and Skratch N Sniff. Ryan from Julien-K/Orgy was in attendance and watched part of the show from the side of the stage with Chester's wife and one of his sons. SETLIST: 01. Down 02. Big Bang Baby 03. Vasoline 04. Dead & Bloated 05. Out Of Time 06. Meatplow 07. Silvergun Superman 08. Big Empty 09. Black Heart 10. Interstate Love Song 11. Pop’s Love Suicide 12. Sex Type Thing 13. Sex & Violence 14. Wicked Garden 15. Piece of Pie 16. Trippin’ On A Hole In A Paper Heart - 'Church On Tuesday', 'Lady Picture Show', and 'Hollywood Bitch' were dropped due to the band having a co-headline slot with Korn and were performing an abbreviated setlist.
  17. Posted on Instagram this morning, Steve Aoki posted this picture with the caption "Back in the studio w/ @m_shinoda @chesterbe @linkinpark. Expect the unexpected. #neonfuture". Neon Future has just been revealed to be the new album name for Steve, so it looks like Mike and Chester will appear on the new Aoki album. Several questions this brings up.... - Months ago, Steve confirmed that he worked on "several songs" with Linkin Park. Is this one of them, or a newer song? - Rumors have been circulating that Steve and LP will appear on the Transformers 4 soundtrack. Will this effort end up on the T4 release? What do you think?
  18. I think they will do it in full elsewhere. Only place they've announced for right now? That means it's very likely they have discussed doing it somewhere else. Maybe an LA or NYC warmup show before the summer tour kicks off, just so they aren't rusty in Europe coming out strong at a festival.
  19. Brad sat down to discuss the Concert for the Philippines and other Linkin Park endeavors, like Hybrid Theory in full, with Rolling Stone recently. Here are some highlights: How did you put together the lineup? Our band responded immediately and we just started making phone calls. We got a lot of responses from groups that couldn’t do it for a lot of reasons, like someone might be on tour. A lot of those groups have donated items and experiences to an auction we’re gonna do, so beyond the Offspring and special guests we have committed for the show there are a lot of groups, like Dave Grohl was super generous in donating something, Thirty Seconds To Mars as well, Green Day, Chili Peppers were really helpful, Rick Rubin was helpful, there are a ton of people to make this thing work. That’s why it’s called Music for Relief, because it’s really a response for the entire music community for this important cause. You are playing Hybrid Theory in its entirety at the Download Festival. Will you be doing that anyplace else? Right now that’s the only place we’ve announced we’re gonna do that. Since 2000 we’ve never played Hybrid Theory in its entirety. And even then I don’t know if we played the whole album as an album and this is gonna be quite a special experience for fans who are in the U.K. for the Download Festival. With all these tour dates announced in summer does this mean the album will be done by then? We’re in the studio almost every day working on our album for next year, so it’s a very fun time for us and very creative. It’ll be out when it’s ready, we’re working very hard toward that end and it’s been a really fun process so far. Right now we’re still in the early phases of everything so everything’s really nebulous, we’re just trying to capture an initial inspiration and see where it leads us. Read the full article here. Thoughts?
  20. What? I don't understand. How in the world can they send the Primo mp3 if it's on the CD and 99% of people get either the digital download or the CD? lol wtf
  21. How do you figure that? If LP does a USA tour from August-October 2014, that doesn't seem rushed to me. They could have easily been working on new music for the album ever since September 2012, or even before that.
  22. Typically when a band member says LP is coming back really soon at a show, it happens. Mike said in 2006 LP was playing Russia in 2007. In 2006 in Taiwan he said LP would be there in 2007. Both happened. Chester last night said LP is returning to St. Louis soon. We'll see if that happens.
  23. Plus the end of 2006 one in the parking lot. So 6 total is PROBABLY right unless we missed a private show at some point. You are right though, besides those 6 the rest are just canceled dates. We have 5 of the 6 dates with no chance of getting the 6th in my opinion.
  24. On the 12th, Stone Temple Pilots will play the VooDoo Lounge @ Harrah's Casino in North Kansas City, Missouri. This will be the fifth show of seven shows on their short Winter USA Tour. After this performance, the band will play Ontario (Cali) and Las Vegas to close out their very successful year of touring. We expect the band to play their usual headline set tonight. The show kicks off at 8:00 and the opening band is a band called Not A Planet. SETLIST: 01. Down 02. Big Bang Baby 03. Vasoline 04. Dead & Bloated 05. Out Of Time 06. Meatplow 07. Silvergun Superman 08. Church On Tuesday (Guitar Solo Ending) 09. Big Empty 10. Black Heart 11. Interstate Love Song 12. Lady Picture Show 13. Pop's Love Suicide (2013 New Ending) 14. Hollywood Bitch 15. Sex Type Thing 16. Sex & Violence -------------------- 17. Wicked Garden 18. Piece Of Pie 19. Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart
