  1. LPU CD needs more BTH live.
  2. LPU will launch later today. Second half of the day/this afternoon at the earliest (LA time).
  3. Done. Fixing that in 5.0 right now. Along with complete set notes for the entire live guide, accurate set notes for every single show we have setlists for, accurate show/other notes for every show, and more....this will be fixed. Currently I'm fixing the situation with The Requiem/The Radiance. I'll do this UIB fix right now. Thanks for pointing it out.
  4. Yeah no offense, but that's one of the worst statements I've ever heard lol. Nothing to do with LPA, obviously LPA didn't make up that statement and post it...someone said it to whoever their rep was at the Meetup I'm sure. But "let's use big words to convey no message." Community has been in the LPU since day 1. Sustainability....? Eco friendly products? Or cool products? That could mean a million things. Technology?
  5. I guess the excitement level for this isn't that high....lol
  6. Correction on a date: 29.09.2000 Monroe, LA, Louisiana Tech University -> 29.09.2000 Monroe, LA, University of Louisiana Monroe I just was at that campus this year....no legit venues in that town so this must have been a SMALL show.
  7. Was it 2007 or 2008 where Mike worked in the studios in Prague in Berlin on tour? I have that magazine article about the Prague one, even with some pictures of Mike there. I think it was 2008. Regardless, that was mid 2008 then and those studios are even listed in the ATS booklet surprisingly for where LP worked on stuff. Yes your point is very valid.
  8. Yes, so I'LL BE GONE and POWERLESS (what TINFOIL was renamed to) were from the ATS era. Are there any others from that era that we know of?
  9. Helloooooooo new signature quote LOL, almost spit out my Coke when I read that.
  10. He means first, it didn't stay for 2007. But more importantly, it was in the European 2008 Summer Tour setlists and was dropped on Projekt Revolution. Those sets I believe were one song shorter (maybe Set Z was the same, but X wasn't and Y I don't think was either) due to that song being dropped as well as Valentine's Day and A Place For My Head. Am I seriously the only fan of Runaway? I think it's a jam. The bridge is great and Chester really brings it. Lots of energy. I'd love to see it, especially as a song I haven't seen before. Besides getting used to Mike standing behind the keyboard (he doesn't move around without doing something it seems these days....so it'd be interesting to see what would happen if they brought Don't Stay back), this shit is great! That bridge is explosive! I'd rather see it all day over Crawling (it's much better lyrically to me, even) and even In The End.
  11. Saving my listen for Monday when I hear the rest of the CD. But this brings up the question....If they were so proud of I'LL BE GONE and it took so long to make and was such a hard song to finalize...why didn't they play it live? /In before a typical Astat reply of "Because that doesn't have a god damn thing to do with playing a song live?" But seriously....they were so proud of TLTGYA and it was a hard song too. I'm surprised IBG didn't see even one play in 2013. Chester even said in late 2012 they were rehearsing it I believe, or were wanting to play it in 2013. Beta State confirmed their song name as 'Change'. "Our new Beta State song “Change” from the LPU Sessions will be featured on the LPU XIII CD from the 13th year of LINKIN PARK UNDERGROUND, the official LINKIN PARK community. The CD drops on 11/18/13 on LPUNDERGROUND.COM" http://betastate.tumblr.com/post/670127068...ge-from-the-lpu
  12. His brother Brian posted a picture of his dad very recently lol
  13. No way LPU leaks anymore with the physical CDs being in sole control of the LPU/Machine Shop/Warner/LP lol. The only way to get it is the shitty 190kbps versions (not even 320) available as digital downloads. That's a big incentive to buy the CD I guess. Maybe that's why good audio quality versions aren't made available ASAP. I totally forgot you had to even buy a CD with the package now....I got my LPU 12 package in July with no CD and was like "wtf?" I think it'd be good to include the CDs in the packages again....
  14. http://www.bloggang.com/viewblog.php?id=ci...24&gblog=24 LPA: On Minutes To Midnight, to some fans you seem to appear less prominently on many of the album's songs, than in comparison to older Linkin Park records. Would you say this was this a conscious decision you and the band made during recording, or would it happen to be something that played out in the way the songs were generated in the studio? Joe: I did a lot of scratching that Mike and Brad muted out. But aside from that, on this album, everyone in the band was working on everything. We weren't limited to our respected instruments. Every song on the album had a different approach to how it was written. One of the main focuses for me was to nail sounds down by re-amping, resampling, and pushing the dynamic of range with the sounds. Mike response: Actually, I wasn't in the practice of muting any of Joe's scratches. I don't know who did it, but I was working full-time on vocals at that point, so don't blame me, Mr. Hahn =) Maybe we'll have to put the detectives out on this one. But I did mute his singing vocals, because those simply sucked huevos. And yes he did leave the stage on No More Sorrow, TLTGYA and PMA piano in 2007. The rest of the band left on PMA piano though and I think Phoenix left temporarily on LOATR. I believe that's right but I might be wrong. In 2012+ Joe uses Given Up take his pics. But he did go to the barrier between the stage/crowd to take pics on NMS in 2007 lol. Surely a fansite has them archived somewhere. I'll ask MSC.
  15. Dika met with Mike backstage at an Asia show, I think Hong Kong, this past tour. He's definitely involved in the artwork. Where did that logo come from?
  16. Pooch and Dylan have both confirmed to me very recently that they are still recording the shows. Perhaps Sean is referring to the video recordings that they started doing on the ATS Tour? I know for a fact SSMF and Asia were recorded in audio, the same stuff they'd do as if it was being released for a DSP. It's surprising to me they play Hybrid Theory in full in England but not at SSMF, lol Yes Geki, there's zero reason really why they can't release the few others from 2007 they have prior to Projekt Revolution (I assume Rock am Ring and a few other European shows....maybe Bamboozle, maybe not) as well as the full 2008 European Summer Tour. Great setlists on that Euro Tour in 2008. There are shows missing from 2009 in Europe too that I assume they could release now if they released every festival in 2011 too, but maybe I am wrong.
  17. I guess I can handle no PMA or CFTI since they were on two tours in 2008, even though I love Pushing Me Away. But Runaway was on just one in 2012...the USA didn't get it on the HCT. Runaway, By Myself, and Forgotten are 3 songs - that's not a lot of room. Drop Points, With You and a random song like LGM and you have room for them. Then replace some singles, etc with new songs. Done.
  18. Does anyone remember back in 2007 when Joe would leave the stage to go down to the side of the stage/barrier to take pics of the LP stage on No More Sorrow? I believe it happened a few times in Europe 2007 at the festivals. Some of them were kind of in that "fisheye" lens I think. If he didn't take them all, then a crew member definitely took them because it was when LP was on stage but I was under the impression Joe was the one that took them. He posted the pictures I think on JoeHahn.com. Archive.org isn't helping me so perhaps I have the wrong location. Anyone else have any idea?
  19. I don't know what will happen to the DSP site. I'm sure it will stay up and I doubt we'll be allowed to share them for free. To say I am disappointed with the band's management here is an understatement. Mike told us to ask Lorenzo, to talk to management, etc about the older DSPs and info on the newer ones, and no one can give us answers. No one.
  20. The site is lacking for sure design-wise...it's not easy to find shit, especially the forums, and you get logged out instantly. I have a lot of problems with staying logged in, even for short periods. The LPU 12 package is the best I can remember. I use the carabiner daily and the water bottle is great. I hope the LPUXII package is good as well. I'm disappointed that I joined and for a year, LP did literally nothing, but the package made me happy. However, I wasted money for the Summit package when there won't even be a Summit lol....that really sucks.
  21. I think this week they will update the songs there, before we know the tracklisting. They delay it as long as possible, though. This is what we really need: http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWri...uerytype=WorkID It's on there because it was on the LPU 9 tracklisting before Across The Line replaced it at the last minute.
  22. Hi guys, Over the past 3 months I have emailed, DM'd, texted and talked to several people about the DSPs. I've asked what's going on, if anyone can tell me why they were stopped, if anyone knows if they'll ever start back again, and if our campaign for older DSPs is still going to happen. I've received different responses along the way....things that conflict with each other and that give no real explanation, if there even is one. The most thing I can tell you that is MOST LIKELY true is that they sold very badly in 2012 and they were stopped after South Africa for that reason. Unfortunately, today I received word from the very last source/person that I have contacted about it and they have no answer for it. Literally no answer. That seems to be the standard reply across the board here. It seems that management doesn't want to discuss this with us at all. I thank Pooch and Dylan for all of the hard work they've done to get these shows to us from 2007-2012 and to Mike for being on board in March with the idea to release older shows. Who knows if that'll ever happen. If nothing changes miraculously, at this point I think we are going to have to go back to audience recordings of shows. Before the next tour I will start a big campaign for fans to record the shows themselves and we will 100% provide an outlet in which they can be shared here on LPLive amongst all Linkin Park fans, free of charge. Sorry everyone. We tried...
  23. The minimum, Forgotten, Runaway, By Myself, Pushing Me Away and Cure For The Itch should stick around in the setlists since they haven't been played in so long. I'd even be down with With You and Points Of Authority taking a break because we know the band won't drop In The End. Those 5 I mentioned haven't been around in a while.
