hahninator replied to lerkid's topic in Newswire
http://chesterbnetwork.com/2013/11/audio-c...-festival-2014/ "Chester went through the list of songs Linkin Park has played and has never played from the album." Oh dear lol. They have played every song on the album. Haven't listened to this yet but did he fuck up something? -

hahninator replied to hahninator's topic in Stone Temple Pilots
Yeah time constraints I'm sure were the reason for that being dropped plus no encore break. -

Linkin Park 2014 World Tour Coming/North America in 2015
hahninator replied to Geki's topic in Newswire
http://mikeshinodaclan.com/2013/10/intervi...noda-cake-toss/ Mike says here that LP wants to do a North American Tour in 2014, not 2015. Maybe it will come after Europe. -
LP headlining Download Festival 2014 & playing HT in full

I think I'd rather them play it in order but they can do some cool stuff. We'll see how it happens. I'd imagine they'd bring back DSPs for this. -
This is about to be totally redone come June! Ha.
-
With Download 2014 being announced...LP usually drops a European Tour by doing 1 date at a time or so. So let's guess along the way where they'll add a show at next, and when the last show will be, etc. I'll start. Next I say is a show in France. I'd say Germany but fuck it I'll just guess something different. And I bet they'll do HT in full there too.

Probably the 12 HT songs + 10-12 more. The HT songs will take up roughly half of the show. -

Yeah didn't Glasgow open that new venue recently? Didn't Alter Bridge play there? I would think LP would be doing a show there sometime. -

Their chances now of playing Scotland are better than ever because of how many new places they are visiting and how many old places they are revisiting. -

Holy shit this might be the best thing Linkin Park has ever done. What the actual fuck. I didn't think they could outdo themselves from touring with Incubus (a dream come true). THIS....is insane. WOW. Gotta get to Europe. The comments make it sound like they are doing it for one show only, but no way they rehearse for weeks to do it just once. Surely more festivals will get it. Let's jam people regardless. -
https://soundcloud.com/djcheapshot/cheapsho...poo-poo-platter 17:30 Mike is on there before the Remember The Name remix. Obviously he's joking (before someone takes it the wrong way lol). 42:30 is his remix of Jay-Z's Encore. I believe this was pressed to CD too. This is one awesome mix here. I'm a big fan.

I agree. It's great they're making music quickly but that was the biggest flaw with LT - you could tell the quality wasn't there and the time that was spent on the other records wasn't spent on LT. I hope they don't come out with another product like that. For example, with MTM and ATS, it seems like they spent many many months working on those demos, tweaking them to perfection, etc. With LT, it's like the band was like "lol oh we have this random seed....let's put it with this....and add this sampled beat...aaaaand Brad you sing here....aaaaand here's UNTIL IT BREAKS!"

Tonight Stone Temple Pilots will play at Hard Rock Live in Biloxi, Mississippi for a one-off show before Houston's Buzzfest show on November 2nd. These are the only two shows for the band for the month of November. Luckily for fans, this show will be webcasted and is the first STP webcast since their first show with Chester all the way back at the KROQ Weenie Roast in May (show page here). From STP.com: "This Friday night (November 1st), EVNTLIVE will offer fans a free, live stream of our concert starting at 8 p.m. CDT from Biloxi, MS! Anyone who reserves a free ticket to the live stream in advance will be entered into a giveaway to win a signed copy of our new EP, ‘High Rise’! Click here to reserve your ticket now: https://www.evntlive.com/#!/artist/1000228" The show will be aired live PLUS there will be "encore" showings, meaning it will be shown again at least two more times. Hopefully this gives fans a chance to record it! Who will be watching? At the band's last two full shows in Japan, they stuck with the same headlining setlist that the second half of the USA tour saw in September. We expect them to play this setlist again in Biloxi, but it's possible they'll surprise us and play more songs from the High Rise EP! After this show, STP will embark on a short "U.S. holiday show" tour in December, where they will play seven shows, six of which are some sort of December festival show. The first of those is in Grand Prairie, Texas on December 5th. For the full list of dates for that tour, click here. SETLIST: 01. Down 02. Big Bang Baby 03. Vasoline 04. Dead & Bloated 05. Out Of Time 06. Meatplow 07. Silvergun Superman 08. Church On Tuesday (Guitar Solo Ending) 09. Big Empty 10. Black Heart 11. Interstate Love Song (w/ post song instrumental jam) 12. Lady Picture Show 13. Pop's Love Suicide (2013 New Ending) 14. Hollywood Bitch 15. Sex Type Thing 16. Sex & Violence ---------------------------------------------------- 17. Wicked Garden 18. Piece Of Pie 19. Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart Show Notes: -This show was broadcast for free on EVNTLIVE -Chester went down into the crowd and sang with a kid in the front row during Dead and Bloated -Chester had a wardrobe malfunction and had to change his pants backstage, the rest of the band did an instrumental jam.

ChesterBNetwork has caught a good interview with Chester from October 31st. "Chester talked to 97.9 WCPR radio station saying that Linkin Park are getting ready to release a new record. “It’s a very fun, very exciting, very fruitful time and there’s definitely going to be a new record out soon”. Chester also reveals that he’s been offered the lead role in a movie but he says he doesn’t know if he’s “ready for that”. During the interview he also plays a game called “Screw, Kill, Marry” in which the interviewer asks which one of three celebrities he would screw, which one he would kill and which one he would marry. I’m not going to give away his answers but you have to listen to that one, it’s fun. So, new Linkin Park record, new STP record, both out in 2014! One thing for sure, we’re going to be hella busy next year." Source here. Of course it is unknown what the word "soon" means to Chester, but it does sound like the new Linkin Park album is coming along a lot faster than most of us would have thought. Do you think it will be released in the first half of 2014? The band has already planned a world tour for the new album to start in 2014, so it's possible.... Thoughts?

LPTV - Linkin Park x Steve Aoki x Tokyo (Asia Tour Part 1)
hahninator replied to Geki's topic in Newswire
The shirt is still wrapped. I'm not going to take it out unless I can score another one to wear. Unfortunately since they didn't make very many it's not really worth wearing it and having it fade, etc over time. -
Great find. I had no idea about this!

Cool episode. Hope they don't skip any of the shows as they have before *cough*PR08 and HCT*cough* I got a Bathing Ape shirt and it's awesome. I wish they'd make more of them though. Not sure why it was such a limited release. -
Finally sat down to take a look at this. Upon first listen they sound the exact same. Chester even manages to sound very similar throughout the whole chorus. However, I finally found a small difference. 1:13. "To cross out what III'VVEE become". Notice how he sounds more rough on that part than the Circuit City version. Like he's strained more in the Circuit City one. Also in the Third Encore one he strains a tad on "forgiving" in the buildup at the end of the bridge. They sound different to me. Also we can go ahead and add the 'With You' to that Ozzfest 2001 show and we'll discuss what the deal is with it in the notes.

Found this today randomly. This is the video I was referring to.
-
Look at LPTimes, etc...they cancelled. Not sure why but it was really close to the date. I mean it's possible it was just Chester but this is a festival show...Chester on the bill means he's going to come with some sort of band.

Stone Temple Pilots' Hard Rock Live Show Webcast

KROQ has it and no way they reair it. I doubt fans of other bands were recording at that time. -
Stone Temple Pilots' Hard Rock Live Show Webcast
hahninator replied to LESTAT's topic in Stone Temple Pilots
Someone will record this since we know about it ahead of time. The reason KROQ wasn't recorded is because STP played unannounced, meaning zero STP or LP fans would known about it ahead of time, or else we could have gotten it recorded. If I was home I could have at least gotten half or more of the audio from it, but that's still not that much.
