  1. Show number ten of eleven total (excluding festivals) on the Stone Temple Pilots headlining USA Tour takes them to Midland, Texas at the La Hacienda Event Center. This is the band's only stop in Texas on the tour and will be their only show in the state until they return to headline Houston's Buzzfest in November. At recent shows, the band has been playing a new setlist that we expect will carry them until the end of the tour. This set features 'Black Heart' (a new song), 'Meatplow' and 'Lady Picture Show' and drops 'Sour Girl', which was in the setlists for the first and middle portions of the tour. Is anyone going to this show? After Midland, the band plays Tempe, Arizona's Marquee Theater on the 26th and then headlines the Fremont Street Experience at Las Vegas's D Hotel & Casino on the 27th. These will be the band's last shows until mid-October when they head to Japan for two festivals. SETLIST: 01. Down 02. Big Bang Baby 03. Vasoline 04. Dead & Bloated 05. Out Of Time 06. Meatplow 07. Silvergun Superman 08. Church On Tuesday (Guitar Solo Ending) 09. Big Empty 10. Black Heart 11. Interstate Love Song 12. Lady Picture Show 13. Pop's Love Suicide (2013 New Ending) 14. Hollywood Bitch 15. Sex Type Thing (Ext. Intro Jam w/ Vocals) 16. Sex & Violence -------------------- 17. Wicked Garden 18. Piece Of Pie 19. Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart - Chester smashed his hand on Dean's guitar on 'Wicked Garden', thinking he maybe broke his hand.
  2. The source from the radio and the source from the guy are different though right? Slightly? His is from a radio broadcast and ours is from the actual radio's copy.
  3. http://www.creativeman.co.jp/english/ doesn't say that though. Hmm maybe Jonas is right. But I do see the line you are referring to Skipees.
  4. Stone Temple Pilots will be playing the Voodoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino in Kansas City, Missouri on December 12th. This show comes just a few days after the two festivals in Florida they'll be playing in December. Source here. For the full STP tour schedule, click here.
  5. Yeah or at least as a DSP. I was told DSPs were stopped because of terrible sales. And then told by someone else (both reliable sources near the band) that it had nothing to do with that and that they "might return soon", but this person failed to tell me why they were stopped. Still looks like lackluster sales were the reason. At this point I bet we won't get the older DSPs now.
  6. Someone fixed the setlist on setlist.fm....it was in the wrong order. I'll fix it on LPL shortly.
  7. For Sunrise? Or where? I saw videos where it was extended at at least 2 shows.
  8. Yeah I found it on the site Skipees posted it on. It was confirmed I think yesterday by the STP Twitter.
  9. Did Richard Patrick come out on Piece Of Pie?
  10. Wow. I mean wow. Definitely not what I was expecting from this. Chester's voice sounds like the damn overprocessed shit on the Dead By Sunrise album. What in the world? Same On The Inside and Cry Cry are perfect examples. I've never liked STP so I guess this is not my type of jams. Not impressed one bit. Sounds as generic as it gets. I'll take a little bit of this lol
  11. Done. I agree with this. We'll keep the new STP stuff (all non live show stuff) in Newswire. Sorry about that.
  12. That'd be pretty hard since Bellamy doesn't give a fuck about anything anymore. Muse is literally liable to play anything at any time lol. Nashville was the ultimate WTF moment, besides Tokyo Zepp. Bringing back NSC for the first time since 2010 and Unnatural Selection for the first time since 2010 too. WTF. Epic.
  13. ALTNC was completed before being played live as far as we know.
  14. Since we are facing some comments from both sides on this issue...I want to know what you think we should do with our Stone Temple Pilots news & live show updates. We have threads for every show of course, and post news accordingly for STP. However, we recently moved the STP news and live show threads to our STP section: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showforum=76 This is because: 1. The STP live show threads + STP news is "smothering" the LP news and moving it off of the LPL homepage 2. A significant portion of the LP fanbase doesn't have any interest in the STP stuff, and we do want to focus on LP FIRST before other projects 3. STP is another band Chester has joined versus it being a project he created on his own like Fort Minor and Dead By Sunrise were But what do you think? Would you like to see the STP news stay in the Newswire? Or both the STP news and STP live show threads in Newswire? Or just keep it all in the STP section?
  15. Since we don't have any other sources for the STP shit (aka LP fans attending the shows) I guess we can go with this for now unless we hear differently.
  16. Damn, sorry lol, the one show I couldn't make the post happen for in time...we get a new setlist and a live debut! Woops! Hmm, really wish I could see the Columbia show tomorrow.
  17. Sorry man, I honestly don't know why I/we shot you down on that. Looking at it from your point of view, I am completely inclined to agree. Having 'The Radiance' (w/ Savio Speech) makes it perfect to put Wretches or Faint or any other opening song after it and not have to worry about notes on that song. Let's get it changed. I hate how I ended up doing 'Speech Scratch Outro' after 'The Requiem'....I really dislike that now. We aren't perfect and we do fuck up, so let's get it right haha. If you disagree with anything else we have up, let me know and we can take a look. For example, I'm still conflicted where we should put the STP news/live show stuff.
  18. Actually decided to move the STP news and show discussion to this subforum. It's smothering the LP news and we want LP to be first and most important, but also because Chester is singing with ANOTHER band (STP) versus this being an actual LP member side project like Fort Minor and Dead By Sunrise were. And there's a huge lack of interest in the STP tour from LP fans on this forum it seems.....
  19. On the 17th, Stone Temple Pilots plays show number seven of their eleven show Fall USA Tour. This show takes place at Sunrise, Florida's BB&T Center, the largest venue of the tour by far for the band. This is where Linkin Park kicked off their North American Tour for A Thousand Suns in January 2011 (show page here). Filter will be supporting STP at this show as usual. While the tour announcement says this was a "Florida Panthers Event", we have been unable to find any information from the Florida Panthers, STP or the venue on what exactly this means! This show comes after Stone Temple Pilots have traveled to Oklahoma for two shows, one of them a headline show in Newkirk. You can check out 'Out Of Time' shot from backstage in the video above! It's possible the setlists for the band won't change on this tour at this point, considering nothing has really changed so far other than the band bringing out Richard Patrick from Filter for 'Piece Of Pie' and them adding an intro to 'Interstate Love Song'. We will see, though. The EP is out in October, but the tour wraps up September 27th.... After this show, STP plays Orlando on the 18th at the House Of Blues....a huge shift in venue size for them. A Columbia, SC show is scheduled for the 20th followed by a Rockwave Festival show in Ft. Myers, Florida on the 21st. Only three shows remain after that on the tour! For the full tour schedule for the band, click here. SETLIST: 01. Down 02. Big Bang Baby 03. Vasoline 04. Dead & Bloated 05. Out Of Time 06. Silvergun Superman 07. Church On Tuesday (Guitar Solo Ending) 08. Big Empty 09. Sour Girl (2008 Guitar Solo Version) 10. Interstate Love Song 11. Pop's Love Suicide (2013 New Ending) 12. Hollywood Bitch 13. Sex Type Thing 14. Sex And Violence ---------------------------------------------------- 15. Wicked Garden 16. Piece Of Pie (w/ Richard Patrick) 17. Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart

  21. Definitely a few more. The Promo Tour in January 2001 had a few more cities besides Paris, Hamburg and London. They were never announced anywhere so we unfortunately don't know where else the band played, and it's likely we never will. They might have done a radio performance at that time for a European station. In the USA, it's not impossible but I'd say in 2001 there probably would be 1-2 more unknown ones we don't know about.
  22. Thanks for the fixed download. The end of Crawling is pretty funny...definitely a mess up.
  23. Let me fix that POA...sorry about that. Shitty internet.... Fixed. Uploading FLAC now.
  24. Major thanks to Felipe for this. Awesome fucking find. And this goes to show what happens when people hoard shit for so long.... Someone has had this recording since 2001 (not Felipe of course) and has refused to share, lol. Glad we finally got it. And got a new show performance out of it!
