  1. I have never heard it until today. Pretty cool. lol @ the comments. So easy to tell that this is very similar to Plaster.
  2. ABC News has posted an article revealing two more guests for the new Linkin Park album! "As previously reported, Linkin Park is putting the finishing touches on a new album. Singer Mike Shinoda unveiled five of the songs for a small group of industry professionals in New York City on Friday, and said that he and his band mates share a growing discomfort with the poppier leanings of alternative music these days. With the new album, he says, they felt the need to return to a harder edge. This is reflected in the first single, "Guilty All the Same," says Shinoda. He tells ABC News Radio, "It just felt like the right introduction to the record, which is kind of a shocking one." As a matter of fact, Shinoda says the song "sits in the middle [of the songs on the album]" in terms of tone. Linkin Park's return to the harder edges of alternative rock was evident in two of the songs unveiled at the New York listening party -- one featured Paige Hamilton of Helmet and another Daron Malakian of System of a Down . Shinoda said that the songs were still rough mixes and that the band is busy tweaking them; he says fans can expect the new Linkin Park album "sometime in the middle of the summer."" Thoughts?
  3. Changed it to LOATR/SOTD/WID (Piano Medley). Thanks for the heads up.
  4. ChesterBNetwork confirms that Chester will give a song to the soundtrack for 'La Bare', a new documentary coming out in 2014. Check out a review of the film from this year's Sundance Festival here. 'La Bare' is set to release on June 27, 2014 and it goes inside the world of the 'La Bare Dallas' strip club, the most popular male strip club in the world. ChesterBNetwork says, "We've got some exciting news to report, Chester Bennington will contribute to the soundtrack of 'La Bare', a documentary on wait for it… male strippers. La Bare is directed by True Blood's Joe Manganiello and is scheduled for release this summer. Aside from Chester, other artists that will appear on the soundtrack are, Flaming Lips, Poliça, Active Child and Marilyn Manson. We hope for more info on what song Chester's going to contribute, whether it will be an existing song or a song exclusively for the documentary." This is the first soundtrack for Chester to contribute a song to outside of Linkin Park since the 'Queen Of The Damned' soundtrack in 2002, where he contributed 'System'. 'System' was the first song to feature profanity for Chester until 'Given Up' in 2007. Source: ChesterBNetwork Thoughts? What do you think he'll contribute? Has he worked on more solo material since the Dead By Sunrise album? Will it just be a DBS song? Or will it be something completely new? 4/9 EDIT: 'Morning After' now has two BMI entries - the usual Dead By Sunrise one and now a new one credited to just Chester. With this addition, it seems likely that some solo version of 'Morning After' by Chester will appear on the soundtrack. A trailer for 'La Bare' can be seen here. DJ Z-Trip will be overseeing the soundtrack.
  5. Yeah. Meteora had that too.
  6. The venue was the Ohm Nightclub in Los Angeles. You can see from this picture that they played 12 songs. https://twitter.com/ColinDotClub/status/451...1939584/photo/1 Once again, Chester went down into the crowd and hung out with fans and took pictures. What a total badass in my opinion...he's so humble and cool with fans. I really like that. Unfortunately, guessing at that setlist is almost pointless. For example, the first line looks too long to even be 'Down'. We'll need to get someone with a setlist...not sure who that would be. From Instagram videos, we can see that 'Vasoline' and 'Sex Type Thing' were performed.
  7. 30-13. Closed. Changing LT and ALTNC to normal caps. QWERTY is still all caps.
  8. If we ever get a chance to interview Mike, this would be a great question. If someone says yo there were 17 full songs, 12 on the album + NRL, WWDK, ATL, Blackbirds. What was the last one? Was it Ammosick? Then bam he will know what you mean and explain. A M&G would be a great chance to ask this too.
  9. I've been asking the same question since Rock am Ring 2007.
  10. Private performance of LP means no one gives a flying fuck, so no videos. See: Harman Vegas show.
  11. There are more for the Meteora songs, check the Meteora song board in a thread in here.
  12. I agree with Astat. Hmm wow great find. I never knew there two BMI entries for the song. I always assumed Standing In The Middle was a leftover LP song that they did and then Shinoda tossed them on it to "warm up" for Reanimation, like 'Do What We Did' for Fort Minor (the first track he did with Ryu, Cheapshot, and Tak for the project). It seems you are right. The LPU 4 booklet says, "Standing In The Middle is a brand new song I did with Kutmasta Kurt and Motion Man. This is the first time this track has been made available." He says *I*, not *Linkin Park*. In that case I believe you're dead on with the guess about that. An outtake from that Clearing The Field release. Very nice.
  13. I'm sure an LP rep from Warner took the disc to Kerrang and let them hear it then left right after it. No way Kerrang just has a copy sitting around in their office.
  14. Linkin Park will get their normal headlining set length (100 minutes~) so they will play whatever fits in there. Some shows 20 songs, some 21, some 22 I guess. Depends how they do the set. Empty Spaces technically takes up a number in the setlist lol, so whatever they choose for 100 mins.
  15. Anyone want to mix Reading My Eyes verse 1 over the bridge of GATS? To see how it sounds? Surely we'll see something else there (old song or new LP song) over the bridge since Rakim's shit won't be done by Mike.
  16. Chester and Ryan on Loveline, whenever that was, I think 2010?...that was hilarious lol
  17. Wow thank you very much! This is great to have for a new single.
  18. http://lplive.net/shows/20140321.php Show page is up. Wish we had full videos. Maybe they'll strip these songs down in 2014.
  19. The song has grown on me a LOT. I didn't listen to it for about eleven days in a row. At first, I liked it and then my opinion of it dropped a lot. But after taking almost two weeks off from it, I love it. Rakim completely jams and I love the video they put out of him in the studio. Chester even sounds better to me. If the rest of the album is this good, we are in for an excellent album.
  20. Hmm What I've Done is a highlight of the set to me and as much as I hate the singles in the set, I really like that song. How hypocritical of me when that's one of the only songs written JUST TO BE A SINGLE lol. I wish New Divide and Iridescent would go away forever. I bet Iridescent does, but New Divide will stay sadly. It ran its course in 2009 and the ATS world tour. Drop it now. If you want to do a medley, do Numb/In The End/Crawling and get that stuff out of the setlist.
  21. But I would love to see them do one, still though. PR07 and PR08 were really great tours. I enjoyed getting there at 12:30pm and hanging out all day! That's how I discovered 10 Years so I am forever indebted to LP for that. Main Stage: Linkin Park (100 mins) 9:20pm Arctic Monkeys (75 mins) 7:35pm Chevelle (45 mins) 6:20pm OneRepublic (45 mins) 5:00pm Lupe Fiasco (30 mins) 4:20pm Revolution Stage: 10 Years (45 mins) 3:00pm Flipsyde (30 mins) 2:10pm Emery (30 mins) 1:20pm Asher Roth (30 mins) 12:30pm This = an epic day for me. All genres covered that I like. Rock, hip hop, pop, rap.
  22. 1. What the heck is an Xbox One? I thought the Xbox was called the 360. 2. Windows 8 is puuuuuure garbage. Easily the worst operating system I've seen. I have no idea why they try these technology promos with stuff that isn't commonplace yet. I know no one with Windows 8 and I've never heard of Xbox One. So if you don't play video games and don't want a shitty OS, you can't get it? Reminds me of the Concert For The Philippines webcast. "lol iPhone users only". Aaaand you wonder why we didn't get a good recording of the show.
  23. The band confirmed they won't do PR anymore due to it costing so much to do the tour and Warner refusing to dish out the cash to fund it.
  24. 6.14 means June 2014. June 14, 2014 is a Saturday and albums don't drop on that day. The band hasn't announced which Tuesday in June it will drop, so the fansites haven't hopped on board yet. June 3 June 10 June 17 June 24 The album will come out on one of those days.
