  1. We are working on getting the full show We will post it as soon as we get it, if we are lucky enough to obtain it.
  2. Or just drop Numb and BID and keep WID
  3. No stream. Rock In Rio will be streamed on May 30th. We'll post the info once we get it.
  4. Fixed. I added in 3 sources. I'm not the source expert so Jonas can work on it more now that this info is up. Added Enth E Nd to Osaka. The LFY/Papercut is a medley...same thing as the hip hop medley/ballad medley - portions of several songs. Keeping it as a medley to be consistent with the rest of the live guide.
  5. Lots of reports about the show being from Carson. I think Europe gets Monterrey. Maybe I'm wrong but I think that's right. Maybe they release Carson elsewhere?
  6. The only thing that stands between the first Linkin Park show for The Hunting Party is an exclusive album listening session with Linkin Park, LPU members, and KROQ winners on Friday! Linkin Park is set to return to the stage for the first time since January 11, 2014, when they played the "Concert for the Philippines" at LA's Club Nokia. They will be playing at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium in Tucson, Arizona for KFMA Day 2014. The show page for this show can be found here. It will be the band's third show ever in Tucson, with the first coming in winter 2000 for a KFMA Free Show and the second coming in the middle of Projekt Revolution 2003 at the Tucson Convention Center. That tour had an unusual run of two Arizona shows in a row (Phoenix then Tucson). Since this is the first show for the new album - ANYTHING can happen. We know that we will get a brand new setlist and we know that they will debut songs off of the new album. What we don't know, though, is how many new songs they'll play and what else they'll play. Hybrid Theory has been rehearsed extensively over the past month (in preparation for Download)...is it possible that they'll stick in songs like By Myself, Forgotten, or Pushing Me Away to rehearse them in front of a crowd before Download? Do you think we'll see those songs brought back for Tucson? Off of the new album, we are obviously expecting Guilty All The Same and Until It's Gone...the two new singles. Chester recently said that he wants to play more than three new songs immediately off of the record...maybe they'll stick in Keys to the Kingdom (the first song on the album) and/or another new song. Everything is up in the air at this point, but we are expecting an energy-packed setlist with song debuts and a new order of songs! Will they bring anything else back to fit in with the new songs? What would you like to see dropped from the show? Here are a few Hybrid Theory stats from our new "Waiting To Be Liberated List" in case any of these songs are performed in Arizona: Forgotten (Last played Feb 24, 2002) By Myself (Last played Oct 29, 2003) Pushing Me Away (Last played Aug 21, 2008) Cure For The Itch (Last played Aug 30, 2011) Regardless of when the first two songs are performed, they will both go to the top of our "Liberation List" since they have not been played live in so long. Seven of the top ten songs in the Liberation List coincidentally are Hybrid Theory songs, too. Here are the top two songs, one of which is Pushing Me Away. Both Forgotten and By Myself will easily top these when they are added to the show (either at Download or before): Session: 2308 days (6y 3m 2d) (March 25, 2003 - July 19, 2009) Pushing Me Away (Studio Version): 2289 days (6y 3m 5d) (March 2, 2002 - June 7, 2008) Anyway, playing before Linkin Park at this show will be Sublime With Rome, Kongos, Memphis May Fire, New Politics, Skaters, and Nico Vega. A noteworthy thing about this show... the band has never started a touring cycle for an album in a year that has had other one-off shows in it (referring to Las Vegas and Los Angeles in January 2014). Obviously excluding Hybrid Theory since they changed their band name in 2000, the Meteora touring cycle began in February 2003, the Minutes To Midnight touring cycle began in March/April 2007, the A Thousand Suns touring cycle began in September 2010 (with no prior shows to it that year), and the Living Things touring cycle began in May 2012 (with no prior shows to it that year). On May 30th, Linkin Park heads to Europe for nine shows to promote The Hunting Party. Download Festival is the last show of that tour and it all begins with Rock In Rio in Lisbon (just like 2012) on May 30th. Stay tuned for the webcast/broadcast information for that show, which is sure to be a blast. The full 2014 touring schedule can be found here. Who is excited for the first show? EDIT: New setlist is up! The show page can be found here. SETLIST: 01. The Catalyst/The Requiem (Mashup Intro) 02. Guilty All The Same (Live Debut) 03. Given Up (Ext. Outro w/ Extra Note) 04. 7. Chester said they want to start off ASAP by playing more than 3 songs off of the CD so I bet Keys to the Kingdom and some other tracks are debuted immediately.
  8. That's what we are posting today
  9. Well that's what I like to hear. I guess Iridescent doesn't put just me to sleep live then haha. Hopefully this means they don't play it anymore.
  10. No. We have no idea where in the set it was or how long it was for. He probably just did a few minutes of scratching and samples in the downtime.
  11. I believe it will be in order, yes. I doubt they mix it up. Plenty of stuff to start the show. It's a bad idea to play it first and then do other songs since a lot of people will leave I bet. Or maybe they won't - who knows. I'd do like: Keys to the Kingdom From the Inside No More Sorrow Lying From You Guilty All The Same -Hybrid Theory- -------------------------------- Lost In The Echo Faint Fuck the slow stuff. Do not play: Numb, New Divide, Until It's Gone, anything off of A Thousand Suns (no hating on the record from me; just let this one show be heavy), anything off of Minutes to Midnight except No More Sorrow or Given Up, or anything off of Living Things except Lost in the Echo. Done.
  12. I predict that the next show under Guesting will be Rock In Rio for ALTNC w/ Steve Aoki. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=9814&page=11&do=findComment&comment=195320 The band listed it the way we have it.
  13. It's not a master DVD from the source. It's unfortunately a little blurry. We can put a song or two up until it gets taken down by copyright or whatever. Screw it. This is what we have - take it or leave it If anyone has the full show, feel free to upload it or post it or send it to us or do what you want with it.
  14. We were fortunate enough to have been given access to an unreleased proshot video of Linkin Park performing on Jimmy Kimmel in August 2003, just after the end of Summer Sanitarium. The band performed eight songs for the rowdy crowd (including Faint and Numb, which were broadcasted on TV). Here's Lying From You: We'll post the DVD on the 22nd (which gives us some time to work out some more of these site bugs from the launch). See you then!
  15. Site load times are being fixed right now, the shoutbox is in place yes (we disabled it for 30 mins while the traffic was spiking), and the "who's online" list is in the forum HQ. The exclusive show was something you are expecting, we didn't promise it would be up today. We are still preparing a few parts of it. It's coming! Be patient
  16. Yes sir. Same here, we are working on it!
  17. Now to get things loading quickly
  18. Welcome to LPLive 5.0! We have spent the last few years discussing and testing different ideas that would help upgrade our website. In short, the new additions to the website are what we thought would work best with the info contained on the site, specifically the live guide. There are a few changes to the year and show pages (like the new year page icons, which are being put into place now and over the next few days with the picture galleries), but a large portion of the upgrade was dedicated to moving the entire site over to IPB. You'll notice several new themes, with wallpaper you can choose for your background in the "hybrid" theme. Most importantly, we'd like to introduce our wiki, which is the new home to all of the lists, guides, and information that LPLive members have collected over the years. There are a few bugs we are still working on (such as the load times), etc, but we do hope you'll give the site a look and check out our new features (found in the link below). 5.0 New Features List And since we are celebrating a huge upgrade to the site, most of you already know what it is but we have an exclusive show coming for you in two days! A huge shoutout goes to the LPLive staff for working so hard on 5.0 and especially to Skipees (who contributed a crazy amount of hours in working on 5.0) and our new staff member Thomas (who has been working on the site for years and is responsible for all of the new graphics on the site; he is the designer of the new "hybrid" theme)! And thank you to everyone who donated to LPLive over the past few years - all of the money that didn't go to site exclusives was used for this upgrade.
  19. Hello all and welcome to LPLive 5.0! We have changed a lot of things on the site, and you can view our list below of the major things that are different: *Links on the new version of the site are now displayed in a new format due to a change in our database. HOWEVER, since we knew this would inconvenience others due to a ton of links to the site being out there on the web, these OLD links (on YouTube, Dimeadozen, other fansites and other websites) will continue to work (always) and will redirect to the NEW show pages. Important note: For all shows after January 1, 2014 or later, please use the new link format for new shows. We have left the core structure of the year pages and show pages the same as we feel that we have fine-tuned them over the years to show the information about the shows as accurately as possible. We have done quite a few changes though, which you find below! General Site Updates - "Redesign": As you can tell, the site has a fresh coat of paint (aka a theme redesign) as well as several theme options for you to choose from. There are wallpapers in the hybrid theme to choose from. - "Mobile Forums": Visit the forums on a smartphone/cellphone and have a mobile theme come up for your convenience. This is only for the Newswire (homepage news) and the forums for now, but we are adding the rest of the site soon. - "New Sections": Due to a few new projects of the band, we have added a few new sections to go along with them. For example, before 2012 there was no instance where two members of the band had appeared as a guest for another artist. Now that that has changed, we have a “Guesting" page under "Linkin Park" where you can view the times (right now there are four) where 2+ members of LP guested with someone else. Additionally, the Mike Shinoda guest appearances that were previously on the Fort Minor page are now on the brand new Mike Shinoda page (under "Related Acts") and even Mr. Hahn has his own page for his DJ sets that he has done. Most of you should be familiar with the Stone Temple Pilots page, as it was in the previous version of the website as well. Lastly, due to the Julien-K page growing bigger than we ever thought it'd grow, we have added a Julien-K tab and separated their shows by groups of two years (2007-2008, 2009-2010, etc). - “Downloads Page”: The Downloads page received a nice overhaul and is now much more organized and has more downloads than we had before. - "Search": A Google search app is on the site and will help visitors find specific things in the live guide (even sources). Wiki: - In perhaps the biggest addition to the website, we have created a wiki section of the site to have a home for all of the information that we have collected over the years on the forums (in lists) and in the "Site" column on the site, such as the Lists Of Songs Played Live, etc. Our goal is to cover information not covered by other Linkin Park wikis. Our wiki will focus on the live aspect of the band versus the general albums and songs that are covered by other fansites/wikis. We have a few brand new areas there like a Song Comparison Guide and most importantly, this is the NEW home of the Yearly Touring Summaries! All of the live content is there like the the Liberation List and the setlist pages from each year (and sometimes tour) that the band has rotated setlists (2007-now). We wrote about our exclusives too and made a nice new home for them. Show Page Updates - "New Show Pages": With our previous versions of the site, if we didn't have a setlist for a show, we didn't have a show page. With the launch of this new version, there is a show page for EVERY show we have in our database. This was important because for some shows, we had tickets, passes, posters, and information about opening bands, etc but we didn't have the setlists. - "Cancelled shows": There are now show pages for every cancelled show for the band. You will be able to find all of the information about the lineup for the show, any pictures we have of tickets, posters, etc, and most importantly, the reason for the cancellation (almost always included is the official announcement by Linkin Park and/or the band members if they made one). - "New Shows": We have added several missing performances to the guide, such as the 2011 Sunrise, FL rehearsal, a cancelled show in Frederiksberg, Denmark in 2001, and a few others. In 2002, 2004 and 2007, there were shows that were officially announced but later moved (sometimes the city/venue were moved or sometimes the dates were just moved around). Those shows are now on the live guide with explanations in the show pages. Family Values Tour 2001, Meteora World Tour 2004 and Projekt Revolution 2002 were all rerouted once or twice, so we have those shows listed...we MIGHT change the mess it made on the 2001/2004 show pages but we have left it this way for now. - "Setlist Notes": The setlist notes that were incomplete for years have been completed for every show in the live guide. This mainly applied to 2000 and 2001 shows, but a few years had ones that were not as detailed as they should have been (2007 for example). Old notes written in first person from the 1.0/2.0 versions of the websites have been removed. - "Debuts": The debuts section on the show pages is complete, so all shows where a song was debuted have this section below the show notes. For some songs, we do not have the exact debut (like for By Myself in the year 2000) so they will not be featured. In the future, we might add a button to year pages to see what shows had a live debut. - "Missing Information": Some shows were missing "Event" descriptions, like Nottingham 2003 being a "BBC Radio 1 Secret Show', etc. Some tour stops were "festival" shows sponsored by the radio station...those are all added too. Next, we added states/provinces/prefectures/regions for all of the shows. Abbreviations are shown on the year pages unless no ISO code exists for the area (and in that case we used the country abbreviation and spelled out the name of the area on the show page). Due to this info being added, flags were put on the show pages so things didn't get too confusing about the location of the show. Lastly, there were a LOT of incorrect venue names. Studio names/numbers have been added and we have rechecked every venue name in the live guide. - "Live Updates": We now have the ability to live update show pages much faster, like when a webcast is occurring or a setlist is being tweeted. Year Page Updates: - "Icons": You will notice on the year pages, where we previously had "S, P, T" for "Show Photo", "Poster," and "Ticket", we now have icons! The show photos and posters are now merged into just photos. And they have moved over to the left side of the page next to the date, instead of being on the right as they were before. There are icons that will allow you to easily see if we have a setlist from a show, a ticket (or tickets) from the show, and/or photos from the show. Additionally, there are new icons to indicate if the show was released as a DSP (Digital Souvenir Package) or not (as we anticipate a future release of pre-2007 shows) and if anything from the show was officially released digitally, on CD, on DVD or elsewhere. - "Dates": Dates are now viewable in the year/month/day format instead of the previous format of day/month/year. This was done to match the link/url format. - “Chester”: The entire Chester Bennington page has been reorganized to sort the shows better. Other Additions: - “Staff”: We have brought Thomas (Overkill) on board on our staff team - he is the man responsible for all of the new logos and banners in LPLive 5.0! We thank him tremendously for his work on the new site. - “Rules”: Staff has updated the LPL terms and download forum rules and has added a new points method.
  20. One hell of a hypothesis about the MTM songs, and it might be right. I'd love to ask Mike about this.
  21. Yeah downloads are allowed for those since they aren't on the LPU. That's weird that the LPU is missing them. If anyone has them, feel free to upload them.
  22. We figured it was best to do this stuff now before the touring cycle started than after Europe
  23. LPLive will be taken offline for the weekend - Friday midday to Monday midday. We are performing background maintenance on the site and improving our server load, etc for the upcoming world tour for The Hunting Party. It will be necessary for the site to be offline for a few days. The first show of the new touring cycle will be in just a weeks time. See you after the break!
  24. The only song I can handle on Living Things is Powerless, and that would have been the one outlying slow song on the record. Castle Of Glass is alright. Fuck the rest. Primo should have been on A Thousand Suns and not reworked into I'll Be Gone. I actually have listened to Primo probably 20-30x versus the 5-6x I've listened to Living Things.
  25. Best Album: A Thousand Suns. LP mastered a concept album start-to-finish, even with the interludes. Creatively a genius record. Lots of different sounding songs all combined into one awesome album. Favorite Album: Meteora. Straight jams start to finish. In particular after that common phrase I use often, I mean that the samples the band has taken and compiled into these 3-4 minute rock songs are A+. From the intro to Lying From You to the samples on From The Inside, etc....the band got really creative with that stuff and mastered the creation of some truly awesome, rockin' songs. I think I read somewhere that there are 6-8 layers of guitars on some songs. Don Gilmore truly nailed it with his "kid in Cleveland" statement, meaning that a song still rocks the first or five millionth time you've heard it and that's the case on Meteora. From The Inside, Lying From You, Don't Stay, Figure.09, etc are all filthy to me.
