  1. Well I mean Around The Fur's beat is essentially Papercut, lol. They were close to the Deftones when they toured together and Mike is still good with Chino...so it doesn't surprise me. Plus Team Sleep remixed My December for Reanimation.
  2. "Some of the most fun gigs I've played in my professional career have been the Camp Freddy shows, where I've been playing with Dave Navarro [Jane's Addiction] and Chris Cheney [The Living End] and Billy Morrison [Camp Freddy, The Cult] and we're doing all these covers of songs and doing it for free at the Roxy. It's like… f**king cool!" I'd pay sooooo much to see that. Wow. I love Camp Freddy and Chester sounds like a badass. He also says Tom Morello came up with Rebellion. Now that's interesting. Is Tom on two tracks?
  3. http://www.warnermusic.ch/catalogue_detail...4936985-sD.html DVD?
  4. Sorry but I don't believe it'll be another month. Maybe I am wrong, but the Chideo thing, the iTunes track time being up, the iHeartRadio leak of the artwork, etc...it's all too much at once. Surely the song drops this week.
  5. What happened to the Rock In Rio video? They made it private? Does anyone have it still?
  6. The CD 100% has to have some radio-friendly song to push it and it looks like UIB will be the WFTE of this CD. Fine with me. The band needs radio play for the CD and GATS sure didn't accomplish that so I'm glad something will take over and grab the poppy fans for them haha. Until It's Gone has a 3:41 length in the iTunes store - which means it's likely for sale soon. We expect it to come out this week!
  7. +1000 Finally someone gets it...not sure who there is responsible but at least someone understands fans should be a part of the promo for a CD. It really hypes the hardcore fanbase up, especially when there have been zero good song reviews so far and the coverage of the 6 song sampler was spotty at best. A+.
  8. Sorry guys we were one day off. The preorder is up in Germany, Austria and Switzerland now. German link: http://itunes.apple.com/de/album/the-hunti...rty/id868341278 USA will be coming soon. No new single yet
  9. Derek from LPAssociation and Altwire recently was able to listen to six songs from the new Linkin Park album "The Hunting Party" and is the first person from the fan side to review what he heard. Check out his full writeup of the six tracks on the press sampler for the new album here. The review starts off by saying, "Linkin Park channel Bad Religion, Black Flag, Helmet, Refused and other early influential rock bands in some of their most electrifying and aggressive sounding tracks to date. Learn why this album may just be Linkin Park’s middle finger to Alternative Rock’s “Status Quo” in our early preview below." An excerpt about the song 'Until It's Gone', the new single from the band: Until It's Gone Beginning with a synth line reminiscent of 2003's "Numb" from their sophomore release Meteora, Until It's Gone takes a sharp turn into an unexpected brooding goth rock anthem, proving to be one of the most atmospheric and diverse songs on the 6 song sampler. It took me by surprise on the first listen, and is actually one of my favorite songs the band has done in recent memory. With it's gorgeous choir like backing vocals, and intense orchestral backdrop this song stays with you, and impacts you long after well...'It's Gone'. Atmospherically similar to the band's 2010 release A Thousand Suns, Chester looks back woefully in regret at a failed relationship, singing "I thought I kept you safe and sound, I thought I made you strong, but something made me realize, that I was wrong." It wouldn't be out of place to expect this as the band's next single given its highly memorable sound and powerful melodies. Closing out the review, Derek says, "There’s no denying that The Hunting Party will polarize the fan base when it comes out on June 17th. Much like the band’s landmark record A Thousand Suns, the tracks I’ve heard off of The Hunting Party showcase the band sticking their necks out to take a creative risk musically, that will shock certain fans and listeners upon the initial first listen. It’s bold, it’s beautiful and rest assured the changes are extremely welcome. Linkin Park have swooped in like a caped crusader to save rock music, and have made a statement that will be sure to turn many heads this summer. Look for The Hunting Party in stores, on June 17th, 2014." Read the full review of Keys To The Kingdom, All For Nothing, Guilty All The Same, Wastelands, Until It's Gone, and Rebellion, check out the LPA thread here. Congrats to Derek, LPA and Altwire for the review, and we are very pleased to see that the band's management/label is allowing fans to be a part of the new album promo - from the fansites releasing THP's tracklisting to a fansite reviewing the new material!
  10. Preorder is happening this week. The iTunes guy knows what he is talking about. Maybe it'll drop today.
  11. That's their mgmt being lazy...I doubt they even listened to most of it.
  12. Astat puts 2 and 2 together all the time. I believe in this case, he is referring to Ethan working with another band ASAP after LP was done. It's a fact that the album is 100% completed anyway since rehearsals start now.
  13. Stoked! Wow it's all happening so fast.
  14. WBR and LP mgmt for the first time let the fansites debut a tracklisting Shinoda and the band RTd it all from the sites who posted it. Really cool.
  15. We have finally received the final tracklisting for The Hunting Party and a new surprise is that Tom Morello is guesting on the album! Check out the tracklisting for the new album below: 1 - Keys To The Kingdom 2 - All For Nothing (feat. Page Hamilton) 3 - Guilty All The Same (feat. Rakim) 4 - The Summoning 5 - War 6 - Wastelands 7 - Until It's Gone 8 - Rebellion (feat. Daron Malakian) 9 - Mark The Graves 10 - Drawbar (feat. Tom Morello) 11 - Final Masquerade 12 - A Line In The Sand Thoughts? Who's excited?
  16. This is a really great record. I'm sure they'll be playing like Dystopian Girl, Stranded, and Disease...all of which I don't think have ever been played, right? Forever is my top song on the album with Maestro so it'll be good to have another Forever performance. They've really neglected the DTA album in their most recent shows. When they say "other songs from the era" I bet they mean Dreamland and Killing Fields. Killing Fields is just epic. I wonder if Waking Up, This Machine or Everyone Knows have a shot?
  17. Julien-K has announced an evening with them in Los Angeles where they will play songs from the Death To Analog album and feature special guests, including Brandon Belsky, who left the band in 2010 due to creative differences. Chester couldn't be a more guaranteed guest at this event unless his name was on the press release itself. Ironically, Ryan even liked Geki's comment about Chester joining them for Technical Difficulties on his Facebook page. Their post reads, "Saturday June 28th, join us for a very special performance of our first album, Death To Analog @ Bar Sinister. We are very excited to have Brandon Belsky on board for this show! We will only be performing songs from the Death To Analog era including some that have never previously been performed. Please use this ticket link to buy your tickets EARLY as this show WILL sell out. http://www.barsinister.net/home.php Looking forward to celebrate and re-embrace our debut album material before we move into our new album cycle. Back to our roots - this will be a very special show!" Hopefully a webcast will be held for the show, but that hasn't been announced yet. Linkin Park's European Tour ends on June 14th and Chester will be in town, so it looks like a slam-dunk for another guest spot from him. We'll see who else they bring out!
  18. Unfortunately some legit sources have to remain anonymous or we don't get to keep having those sources in the future. Promise it's fake. Not joking around on this.
  19. Derek is correct. I didn't have time to post it this afternoon so he beat me to the punch. But yes we can both confirm that this tracklisting is fake. Beyond that I don't know anything else about it. It is possible that the song titles are correct. Maybe some are even demo names. I don't know. But we can confirm this isn't the final tracklisting for The Hunting Party. The order is off, some of the track titles are wrong, etc. I don't have the real tracklisting but I know this is fake sadly.
  20. Bet you $5 he knew it all already
  21. Stop with the drama. No need for that. LPA and Derek are great. They do their sources differently than us and don't post stuff that could be fake. Zero issue with that. Weird their shoutbox says "Hahninator has fired shots", though. Album sounds heavy as we've been told.
  22. I can't blame LPA though for that. Tons of rumors come out all the time for the album, tours, etc. It's just your discretion what you post. We don't post a lot of it, but if we do think it looks abnormally legit (like this) we'll definitely post it with a disclaimer. Personally, I don't see why something from a Warner Bros website would be fake, but that's just me. I don't blame them for wanting a more official source. "We are being careful about posting that tracklisting until we can confirm or debunk it's legitimacy. We don't post unconfirmed info." That's their policy on unconfirmed rumors...LPL posts more rumors than they do, but with that you always run the risk of posting stuff that turns out to be fake (it's happened to us 100x lol). LPA wants their stuff to be all legit, which is perfectly fine. We just like to post a wide variety of stuff
  23. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Not saying it's legit, but it sure seems like it. The link is here: http://www.warnermusic.ch/catalogue_detail...4960166-sD.html WBR took it down shortly afterward.
  24. If it was taken down ASAP I bet it's real too.
  25. Earlier today, the Warner Music site in Switzerland posted a tracklisting for The Hunting Party, but the info was taken down shortly thereafter. However, a picture from LinkinWarriorLP on Twitter provided the following information: 01. Guilty All the Same 02. All For Nothing 03. Viserion 04. Wastelands of Today 05. Until It's Gone 06. Warrior 07. Keys to the Kingdom 08. The Hunt 09. Mark the Graves 10. Rebellion 11. Line in the Sand 12. March of the Dead We are not sure if this is the legit tracklisting or not, but since it's from a Warner website, it's very possible that it's real. Only time will tell! It has twelve songs as the album is reported to have, and all of the previous track titles are in there, except 'Final Masquerade'. EDIT: Unfortunately we can confirm via a source that is legit (but wishes to remain anonymous) that this tracklisting is fake. Also, Linkin Park has made a Facebook page for the album release, which you can find here. They recently posted a few photos of the album's recording sessions, presumably from the Larrabee Studio in LA where a lot of the album has been recorded.
