Every time Mike says no new LP music is imminent, members on this site: "THE BAND IS DONE!!!!" Fucking facepalm man, seriously.

To be honest, yeah I agree. People in this community have a hard time with band members not doing LP stuff (this was evident long before Chester passed) - however, being in a band is a job and it's fine to have hobbies and side hustles. People don't have to like the NFT stuff, but as bored as people are of it (myself too), I think I speak for a large number of people when I say I'm probably far more bored of people moaning of it. Just like Mike lives his life. As you said, we all have a LARGE back catalogue and more will inevitably come.

Fine for me! Do you have Hybrid Theory downloaded onto your phone, as sync'd libraries will just play the files as opposed to the stream. I remember when And One would play instead of One More Light for a similar reason!

It probably lagged when they said they're only releasing 40 different vinyl versions this time.

I really don't like the forcefulness of crypto-minded people, and unfortunately this is something that I'm seeing from Mike. Here's another stance: why can't I just not give a fuck about NFT's and that be okay? Why can't NFT circle-jerkers be okay that other people don't want to get involved? If you're personally really raking it in, then why are you so desperate for EVERYONE to get involved?! Starting to sound like those spam adverts you get... "see how this single mum makes £250,000 per WEEK in your area!!"

I have the physical clean version somewhere, it’s an interesting listen as Mike went through some good efforts in censoring it, giving some alternative lines rather than just muting like in Petrified.

I get the feeling it’s because Meteora is generally harder to find on vinyl these days.

I’m fairly certain it’s sampled from something by the band X-Japan - I can’t really comment on exactly what as it’s been many, many years since I last listened, but I’ll try to figure it out.

Another reason why it’s not a cash grab - and this is something I learned since getting into niche perfumes and colognes: it’s far easier to sell 20 items for $10 each, than 1 item for $200. if this was cheaper, it would be easier for them to sell more and their profits would possibly double due to high volume sales rather than higher profit markets, but they’re selling it for what it’s actually worth (or better) - and I think of it as an integrity move.
