Now I've had time to unwind and sleep, I have some thoughts. Firstly, the elephant in the room... Emily was amazing. Her energy, her stage presence, her voice. I am beyond impressed, I cannot believe how well she did. These are some big fucking boots to fill and she handled it with grace. I am so confident in LP's future now. I expected key changes to accommodate her and Mike's singing, and it works great - the emotion of the music is still there despite it sounding a little different. Her voice did croak in The Catalyst, and she bounced back so fast - what a first show for her! The show was AMAZING!! That laser blasting shit, the fractured imagery, holy fucking cow. Endless energy. Shame about Rob not coming back. I expected he would, and a lot of you guys here were right. The guy is great, he actually produced my favourite ONE OK ROCK album, and tbh the new track has that same vibe from that album. I called November 15th for LP8! A lot of us did to be fair, but come on let us be right about something at least haha!

We had issues with someone messing around with Genius last year, putting on false information that wasn't confirmed. Let's not get carried away with it this time around, yeah?

It's very unlikely they'll release a single without an album on scope within the next 3 or 4 months. I think you're overestimating how long it takes to actually record an album.

LP comeback cancelled!

It doesn't confirm it per se, but I definitely think there will be new music this week. I think I said before that putting the years 2000-2023 marked a line in the sand (pun intended)

People couldn’t sleep, people planned their days around this, some people booked leave from work from their limited holiday entitlement. it was tone def to say that least, and played on peoples emotions.

Again… It’s not up to you to decide if it’s Linkin Park or not. Just because you have an emotional connection to the topic, it doesn’t make you right. It might not be hard to understand, but you’re still wrong, and I find that particular opinion that some of you have rather weird. It’s not the Linkin Park that you’re used to, but we know that it IS still Linkin Park. None of this is new. Other bands have lost members, distinctive voiced singers and continued the band name, because at its core and anything outside of that, it’s still the same band but with a new vocalist/member. No matter how much you want what you’re saying to be true, it never will be. That’s the fact, you don’t have to like it, but it’s factual. My opinion is that it is ridiculous.

Over the years we’ve had tracks and demos where you either can hardly hear Chester on, or he simply isn’t on the track at all. Does this mean they’re not Linkin Park? You’re the one who is wrong man. If they announce in 2 days Linkin Park are back, whether Chester is there or not they are still Linkin Park. I fail to understand your logic.

Just because you can’t comprehend it, doesn’t mean we can’t. It’s not for you to say it won’t be Linkin Park - that’s a decision for the actual band members to make. Not us.
