  2. I have a video of BIO, will upload HQ tomorrow. For low quality... https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10154922255045492&ref=notif&notif_t=like
  3. Well at the next show we're at, come say hello! That goes for every one!
  4. Really? Where was this. Say hello next time haha! Yeah I remember the BID part, it was during the final chorus. Pooch actually turned down the volume of the entire band for a moment. I noticed the Final Masq thing too, didn't he do it like twice? But it certainly was Chester.
  5. Haha you saw me? You should have come and chatted for a bit! I met up with Stefano after the show which was nice, been very good friends with him for about 4 or 5 years now. Heading to the show late tonight, have seated tickets with the fiancée, the old man and step mother.
  6. I would say for 100% go to meet and greet!! Also, request Reading My Eyes from Mike haha!! Did you find your hotel all okay?
  7. The set with DOYS/LFY. Skin to Bone over RTN, Austin on Faint, Aaron on Iridescent.
  8. Thanks everyone haha, you're all correct! I'll be at the show tonight and tomorrow. If you wanna come say hi, I'll be the guy with short brown hair, beard, possibly grey jeans and black&white hitops. Here's a pic of my mug if anyone wants to come say hi! https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/v/t34.0-12/10808057_10154916948915492_1089632910_n.jpg?oh=e018ee62fb58981d739598852864cfd9&oe=5474395F&__gda__=1416892302_b79b072896786faf093a7e8b3503275c
  9. The Hunting Party European Tour has reached its final destination… London! Hi everyone! I’ll be doing your preshow post today, it’s nice to be back! Tonight will be Linkin Park’s 5th time at the London O2 Arena (previously Millennium Dome), and tomorrow will be their 6th. What’s interesting is that this is the third time Linkin Park have announced a show at the venue, and had to add a second date due to high demand. What’s also interesting is that the O2 Arena ALWAYS brings some surprises! On 2008.01.28, whilst putting on a solid show that opened with the well-received curtain drop over ‘What I’ve Done (AMBO intro)’, Mike pulled a surprise and did a short and quick cover of ‘Umbrella’ by Rihanna on his piano. The set ended with a double encore, the second encore sporting without a doubt the most anticipated Linkin Park song ever, ‘A Place For My Head’, and finishing up with ‘One Step Closer.’ One night later, the band decided to do a last minute change on their setlist, voting out ‘What I’ve Done’ and ‘Pushing Me Away (Piano Version)’, and replacing them with ‘In Between’ and ‘What I’ve Done w/AMBO’ respectively. These two shows closed the entire Europe tour, which has become a recurring event upon every visit to this venue. Two and a half years later, the band returned on the 10th and 11th of November (just over 4 years ago, wow!), of which the latter was a day to remember. Not only was it the first EVER LPU Summit, it was also the debut of ‘Leave Out All The Rest’ acoustic at the summit, first ever ‘The Messenger’ acoustic performance of just 2 band members, and the debut of a completely new setlist. The tour had been running on just one setlist throughout, the only real difference being what song being performance during the bridge for ‘Bleed It Out’ (‘A Place For My Head’ vs ‘Burning In The Skies’… what would you choose?!), so it was nice to see a new setlist, and fresh songs for the tour such as ‘From The Inside’ and ‘Leave Out All The Rest’. ‘Points of Authority’ was also scheduled to make a comeback at this show, but was dropped for some unknown reason. Before the encore, Mike Shinoda invited 2 fans from the LPU Summit to come and play Mike’s & Brad’s guitars for ‘Faint.’ Whilst I am super jealous of them personally, it was amazing to see a friend of mine jamming with the world’s biggest band! Linkin Park skipped UK for the entirety of the LIVING THINGS tour, and only returned to the country in June for Download Festival, where they performed the almighty Hybrid Theory in full, front to back, for the first time ever! But London has always been a great crowd to the band, and I can guarantee they are gonna be just as rowdy as you’d hope! Last night, Aaron Pauley, the bassist for the support band of the tour, Of Mice And Men, joined the band during the Ballad Medley, reportedly during ‘Iridescent’, lending some of his vocal talents. We will have a video and more information for you as soon as we can, so stay tuned!! So what is going to happen tonight and tomorrow night? Are Linkin Park going to carry on with tradition and surprise us all with something fresh for this tour at all? Will they revive the fan favourite ‘A Place For My Head’? Will Mike jam ‘High Voltage’ into his solo, or ‘Reading My Eyes’ over ‘Bleed It Out’? Your guess is as good as mine! All I can promise is that it’s going to be a show you are NOT going to want to miss! Don’t forget to check us on Twitter for your setlist updates, and we hope you enjoy the show! Let us know if you’re going! Enjoy this old gem from 2001, which made it onto the LP Underground 2.0 CD!
  10. I'm sure all of your little group will agree with you too, Soul. I think it's 'pacing', and I won't be convinced otherwise. Mike wouldn't use those lyrics.
  11. BTH demo. Pissing in this room? Is it not 'Pacing in the room'?
  12. Which is why I worded it with singled quotation marks in the title. I realize it's not actually sampled, however I do believe it was taken from BTH intentionally.
  13. Definite reason to be a dick about it, then. I would be interested in hearing more opinions on this. Especially in comparison to the piano intro they used to use live, or even more-so the version they did in Toronto back in '08. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYOpqf_XjMY
  14. Quite surprised I've not noticed people picking up on this, but it seems the new David Guetta track featuring Sam Martin, Dangerous, features a piano version of Breaking The Habit's keyboard loop. It changes into another song soon after, but check it out for yourselves. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsfrsLxt0l8
  15. When you buy a Linkin Park ticket, you purchase to see LINKIN PARK as a collective. You don't pay for a ticket to see just ONE member... Brad not being there is not a problem when his guitar parts are played consistently by someone else.
  16. GATS has more similarities with Unholy Confessions by A7X than this...
  17. Pooch sounds like Colonel Campbell from MGS series.
  18. I love how every album touring session starts. People go mad for new shit and love it, say it's the best thing since sliced bread, and then they keep playing it and it's boring. In 2004, our favourite nu-metal band released an EP and did a couple of shows with JAY-Z, one of the biggest names in hip-hop at the time and still going strong now. In 2005, LP got Chali 2na onstage and flipped up Frgt/10 for the first time ever. In 2006, the band played live with Jay-Z AND freaking Paul McCartney of The Beatles. Later that year they played a song they've never played before, a song that they wrote 2 band-names ago, with their old singer - Reading My Eyes. They also debuted a piano version of Pushing Me Away, which carried on throughout 2007 and 2008. Many people called it boring eventually, but they loved it at first. In 2007-2008, Mike started rapping various old-school LP & Fort Minor verses over the intro/outro of Points of Authority. The band also played Breaking The Habit and a verse of Hands Held High spontaneously due to band arrival failure once. In the past 6 years, the band have been joined by the likes of Busta Rhymes, Street Drum Corps and Chris Cornell onstage. In the past 7 years the band have mashed up various songs of theirs, including about a million additions to Bleed It Out, one even featuring fan favourites No Roads Left, A Place For My Head and Reading My Eyes on the bridge. Even fucking Sabotage by Beastie Boys! In 2011, the band said "fuck it, yolo" and busted a live piano cover of Rolling In The Deep by Adele in London. In 2012, the band performed what we affectionately refer to as "Balad Medley" - like PMA piano, we all loved it at first, now everyone hates it? Not to mention, this was the year many melodramatic forum posters posted "RIP APFMH", and then days later they played that as the intro song for the entire set, and with With You a few songs later to everyone's surprise. Also, anyone remember going mad for QWERTY being mixed in with Victimized? I remember you all tucking your boners into your belt on that one. And I'm sure you all still love the Apaches intro on WFTE? This year? The year of no surprises? - The MFR show that featured Heart, Filharmonic, Mike Einzinger and Travis Barker - A few mashup intros - Mike rapping Rakim's verse on GATS - Robot Boy interlude (I found it hard to click through the forums with all the fanboy-jizz clogging it up that week) - Castle of Dance - Wastelands verse over Runaway - Joe solo - Mike solo, with the various verses - Numb/Encore intro - LFY/DOTS mashup - The ending medleys (intrlude/UIG/ALTNC/LITS/Crawling/ND) - ANOTHER BIO mashup - Extended WID solo Some may be small, but we cannot say this band never changes things, because it's one band that actually does.
  19. If I do, I can guarantee I feel less guilty when I'm downloading a $40 live set.
  20. Everyone watches porn, you liar. I have no personal need to rip it, but some people are collectors. I support that. Edit - also, this isn't anything to do with the industry. Live streams have nothing to do with the financial stability of the music industry. Is that $40 going to go back into the small bands that are trying to make it? What exactly does that $40 per person do to help revive the industry?
  21. Firstly, ripping off a small company? The small company are ripping off the fans. 40 bucks for a one-time-only live stream. And don't try to fucking sugarcoat it, it is what it is. Do you know how many live proshots we have from Linkin Park just this year alone? Enough for this one not to be a 'one off VIP' show. Secondly, 'you want something, you pay for it' - wanna introduce you to this new thing, bruv. It's called the internet. It's called file sharing. Do you not support that? Do you pay for the pornography you watch on RedTube?
  22. I've been listening to Julien-K since 2003, so that's my answer.
  23. There are 3 sides to every story. Daniel's side, Julien-K's side, and the in between. Try not to judge anyone, as the full story from either side isn't issued.
  24. Have you not been reading our replies?! They're far from shady. Ryan and Amir may still have assets from their previous works (Rough Cutt, Orgy, DBS, to name a few), but they are also businessmen. They own a few bars/restaurants in LA together. Last I heard, he was playing bass in his girlfriends band. I believe they're a country act.
