They do need to tour with some big bands. I fear for the bands existance at this rate.

I believe there was a drug raid involved? I'm not sure on the actual details on that side of things but they're independant for sure. They can get signed at any point, as I believe they're not "shelved" so they are free to sign with whoever they like. But yeah, in my opinion they need more regular releases and regular shows to gain their popularity. However, touring as a support act doesn't pay... Touring as a headliner pays, but you still have your own costs added to it. There just isn't any financial benefit right now, they need to build their fanbase. Which is done through touring. Vicious cycle I guess.

Daniel used to own Tiefdruck Musik but ended the business, so now he is pretty much the only person involved with the band. 2808 MGMT isn't a multi-person company, it's run by one man and he's one of the coolest, nicest and supportive people I've ever come to know. It was Daniel who suggest to Ryan and Amir to hire me to work with them in 2012. However, Daniel only runs the operations in Europe; I'm not sure how far his reach is but they have no management in the US, which is why they don't tour there.

Yeah, Julien-K are managed by 2802-MGMT/JULIEN-K INC. Their personal manager (who also owns 2808) is Daniel Heerdmann.

It's actually a pretty quick story haha. Elias told the band and the fans he was leaving to spend time with his family. This was true at first and he started studying. I believe he was studying to become a dentist. About a little over a year later he got an offer for Rock of Ages. This was when the band and myself were in Sweden, I believe, and Elias called Ryan to tell him and to explain in hopes of Ryan not being offended. Ryan and the band were genuinely happy for him, as Elias was explaining he was getting paid quite handsomely for it. This tells me that the tours he's been on as of late (Rock of Ages, the metal superstar project he was involved in, and K&TL) pay quite well. Julien-K unfortunately are yet to build a big enough fanbase for themselves to do headlining tours and feel the financial benefit from it. Elias was supposed to play the DTA show, but backed out because of the K&TL offer, which is the reason Julien-K and Elias are NOT on good terms now. Of course they're still friends. I'm not sure why Chester wasn't there, but the reasons could be endless.

He's currently touring with Kobra and The Lotus. I believe Eli James and Frank Zummo will both be appearing tonight.

Full review: The Hunting Party. Never before has Linkin Park been more to the point, even with Hybrid Theory. Blood thirsty roars open up the very first track. With digitized anger, the band reintroduce themselves with middle fingers in the air. The ball is deep in their court. They weren't shy from bringing their friends to the party, neither. With vocal fist-fights from old school hiphop hero Rakim, and well-rounded guitarist/vocalist Paige Hamilton lending a chorus, as well as familiar riffs from SOAD's Daron Malakian and some... unexpected jam session with Tom Morello, the album feels more like an uprise; a Rebellion against music and it's listeners. Admittedly, this album feels like a gimmick. Especially with tracks like War, which sound heavy for the sake of being heavy, however this is in no way a bad thing! The album is based around heavy guitars, screaming and shouting, and aggression. It's pure adrenaline. These tracks are going to be on my Gym playlist, even though I'm too lazy to actually go! The band's jaws must ache from the smug grinning of their haters eating their own words now. Heavy instrumentals and vocals, Brad showing the world that he is far from a basic guitarist, and that the band have dug even deeper than their roots with a new set of tools. Overall, 9/10. LP are at the top of their game. The one thing preventing a full 10 is A Line In The Sand. The soft melodic parts by Shinoda are pure beauty, possibly the best vocal performance I've heard from any LP song, but it just felt the heaviness involved with the song aren't called for. It's still ultimately an amazing anthem, but if I had to nitpick!

Shortly after the video for In The End came out. My dads friend gave me a burned copy of HT but there were 2 missing tracks. I don't remember which they were but I think one was PMA...
