  1. Not sure this counts as a full show, so not including Numb or ITE or Living Things wouldn't really be newsworthy.
  2. No way lol. He doesn't sound like the singer from Nickelback to me, I would definitely notice. ID is way better than NB in my opinion.
  3. That's the best description I've ever seen. Anyways, I love the album. I only listened all the way through once so far, but I loved every song. In contrast to what a few people have said, I felt that All For Nothing was a strong track. My personal least favorite song is probably Until It's Gone. Instrumentally, it's awesome. I just think it feels slightly out of place on the album, and is almost too simplistic lyrically. I think that they probably had radio play in mind when they finalized the song, and that's understandable.
  4. Lol sounds like you have your checklist ready. I can't wait for the album either though!
  5. No way they skip 4 full albums. Numb, WID, New Divide, etc. I'll be shocked if they drop them all even for one show. I wouldn't complain, I'm just saying.
  6. Least favorite from all 5 studio albums would be: (I understand some of these may be controversial) Hybrid Theory - One Step Closer (Used to love this song, but now I usually skip it when I'm listening to HT) Meteora - Nobody's Listening (I like the song, but it doesn't stack up to the rest of Meteora in my opinion) Minutes to Midnight - Shadow of the Day (Usually skip this one nowadays too...) A Thousand Suns - Blackout (I never did like this song that much honestly.) Living Things - Burn It Down (I don't feel the need to explain this one.)
  7. I mean we knew the chorus from the review. I expected it. I'm not saying it's not cringe worthy, it is. It's just that everyone seems shocked lol. I don't expect this song to do well in the charts, but it's not a completely "bad" song. I think the vocal melodies themselves are great and catchy, lyrics aside.
  8. All of the reviews from the sampler given to some people describe this as a mid tempo track with softer vocals from Chester. So... Idk why everyone in this thread seemed to be expecting a blistering fast paced hardcore song. Just because Mike said the album was heavy didn't mean there was not going to be ANY songs that brought the pace down a bit. Even bands who are known for heavy music usually have at least one slower, softer sounding song.
  9. "This is war with no weapons, marchin' with no steppin', killin' with no weapons, ill in every direction" I can't wait to hear Wastelands lol... He makes it sound like this is one of Mike's best rap performances. He rhymed weapons with weapons apparently, but it's ok.
  10. So he hasn't been a fan of the body of work they've produced in the last 7 years since MTM came out. Must have really loved those 2 albums to still be here lol
  11. Damn... that's a little bit of a harsh way of putting it lol.
  12. Yup I noticed that. We do know they are fans of the series from the GoT theme opening With You a couple years ago.
  13. I agree with this. I like the sound of these tracks too!
  14. Recharged were remixes of LT, and RTR was a performance from the MTM tour cycle. You could be right though, I mean only time will tell
  15. I bet if someone asked Mike or Chester they would give a version of "I'm not sure" lol I do agree that PTB sounds like it could have been a MTM song though.
  16. Nope I would bet money they won't do that. The Mall soundtrack, while created by LP, isn't an LP studio album technically. It's a film score. There's also no kind of theme to connect the two albums besides the artists, so it would be kind of weird. I guess we'll see, I just don't think it will happen.
  17. The STB verse is one of the best verses he's ever done in my opinion. Ha! Maybe that's one of the songs they were talking about that inspired them as teenagers.
  18. As I was reading the article I was thinking "I bet this shit is super expensive". lol I would have liked to buy something but yeah that's pretty steep..
  19. Maybe the delivery will make it work somehow? Idk. Definitely by far one of their most lyrically simple, shallow, and cliche choruses..
  20. Yeah but I would match that verse from Rakim against Lil Wayne's whole discography. I hate that dude. That's my personal opinion though. Like someone else said he may have done revisions, or just finished writing. Or maybe he just had the paper for backup I mean why is it a big deal that he didn't want to possibly forget a line? It's not like that takes away from a rapper's credibility. He wasn't freestyling. Drake has been known to blatantly read from his phone on camera while rapping and call it a "freestyle", and he's arguably one of the biggest "rap superstars" out today.
