I remember when ATS came out, Chester said something along the lines of "I'm xx years old now, I don't want to scream at people anymore" and something about how he doesn't have the anger inside of him that he used to draw on in the early days when talking about the change in direction. Kind of funny that they've done a 180 on that point of view with THP.

Pretty sure they figure that the demographic of fans like us, who follow their tours and document their setlists, is pretty small compared to the casual fans who want to hear LP play ITE, Numb, and the other huge hits that will never leave the setlist. Doesn't explain why they advertised Brad rehearsing a "new song" though.

Sorry to be a noob here, but was Mike actually approached about doing the male vocals on Bring Me To Life? I've seen it online a few times that they approached Mike, but after he declined they settled on Paul McCoy.

I thought it was established that there were no multitrack files involved in this DLC pack. Even if there were, wouldn't it just be guitar and everything else? We have guitar tracks for all of these songs already.

I'm sorry are you trying to say Warner has no stake in any of the LPU songs? I don't have evidence on hand at this very second, but I would be extremely, extremely surprised to learn Warner had no copyright over LPU CD's. It's officially released Linkin Park material. Pretty sure Warner is getting paid as well from the LPU packages.

Right, technically you are correct. What I meant was that upon first seeing the title of the article, most people wouldn't think it was alternate edits of studio versions of songs. Of course I and I'm sure everyone else appreciate the effort in putting these out for the LP community. I wasn't trying to take away from the fact that these are definitely versions most people have never heard before.

I think It Goes Through might have taken over No Roads Left as far as my favorite Mike singing track. I still have to see the movie itself!

Ok normally I wouldn't care about stuff like this. It's his personal life and nobody's business, but this inconsistency made me curious... Does Mike have 2 kids or 1? On wiki it says only Otis, but later on in the same article it say he has 2 children.

For the record I don't like the set. I hate BID it's the only LP song I dislike through and through. However, it is a single and was a mainstream hit. If faced with a shortened set, LP will always play the singles before anything else. It's just the way it will always happen. I think that's the main thing. I understand your displeasure at how they design their setlists, but it will never change. Singles do and always will take priority. They're the reason the majority of the audience paid to be at the show.

My December brought back for one night only would be pretty cool, although COSE has the most likely prediction.

People seem to think that LP/the LP crew are infallible, which is obvioulsy not true. Just look at Mike's quote in Astat's signature. They're human lol. 324 shows sounds like a number someone said in exaggeration that was mistakenly taken as literal. I think it's just one of those myths that will never die for casual fans who refuse to do any deeper research than "Hey, it's in the book. You guys don't know what you're talking about."

Probably because their management wouldn't like it, if I had to guess. It does seem kind of crazy that the artists themselves have said it's fine to share them, but it's still not OK to do. Even though they created the music, they don't have final say on it's distribution.

Another one that I'm sure had to have been asked in the past sometime, but I still want to know: What does Brad actually hear in his headphones on stage? Since LP uses a click live, does he hear it through his headphones? Or does only Rob actually hear it? lol I'm a noob about some of the more technical things like this.
