  1. Aussie fans. This is now circulating on MTV live on foxtel. Just look out for a Linkin Park world stage performance and it will most likely be the one.
  2. Its the same reason they fly him everywhere else in the world. When your happy with your audio engineer and the way he mixes your shows, then you'll want him to mix all of your shows, regardless of how big or small the set is.
  3. 13 is Brad. There was a LPTV on it (or some sort of video) about it. Phoenix was upset haha.
  4. Wow, seems like such a late announcement IMO. 20-21 Days before hand? Thats crazy.
  5. I have my doubts they will celebrate it like they did HT. But then again, you never know with these guys. They could pull out an encore of Mmm Cookies....Sweet Hamster Like Jewels From America.
  6. The fact that within the first 30 seconds of the video, my emotions were already on edge. Thats how I know this is a badass touching video. Also shows a friend of mine who is very touch and go with music, its hard to get her to like something. She loves the video, I call win.
  7. DAMMIT. Staff.... Save me...?
  8. Hey everyone. Some are aware, some aernt but I was selected by Linkin Park Australia (Warner Brother Australia) to take part in a special Medal Of Honor Tier One training course with Australian Special forces. It was a really rough, hard but rewarding experience. Below is a new video they've thrown up with the promotion of the game. Some pretty cool footage and a fair few shots of myself (lets see if you can see me ) More photos to come after the jump once I upload them -Pez
  9. Mike from Incubus's Amp can be seen hiding under Robs drum riser (its a cute combo amp) and he has his pedal board infront of him too. So hes using his gear which is mic'd up.
  10. Last time I spoke with Pooch regarding the vocal effects. Blackout was done using a Lo-Fi plugin on Pooch's mixing console. Nothing 'controlled' by Mike for that song. For the Numb outro/Radiance thing, Pooch said it was done onstage by Mike using one of these bad boys. I assume its the same for Fallout (even though I though I thought it was Mike's voice just fading in over a backing vocal track) http://www.ehx.com/products/v256 Although this doesn't link with the picture I took of this very pedal back in 2010 Sydney Summit. Thats actually a Moog MP-201 (I think), which isnt what pooch told me he used. I thought this was for more of his keyboard setup. So its either its the V256 for vocals with the the Moog controlling keys only. Or the V256 doesnt exist and the Moog does all the work. Hope that kinda helps you out
  11. Haha Ill be happy to do a 5 minute set of my own stuff no worries haha
  12. Haha yes, that quote is fucking amazing! PS, how long has Brad been wearing Glasses? Its either this is the first time Ive noticed or this is the first time we've seen him with them on. It reminded me of old Meteora Era LPTVs, It was a good change.
  13. Im just gonna quote what I said in the other thread. Congrats LPLive.
  14. Called me delayed but....what?!? Are we talking a full band cover or just some kid with a camera and a guitar?
  15. Thanks for all that info. Any advice on what could be an alternative for this? Ive got the GT-100 now and Im having trouble in finding something to replicate this. This... Also to everyone who has been asking about the xbox kinect cameras, Im working on some info for you guys soon
  16. YEWWWWWWW Happy Birthday LPLive. I remember this back when it was just a HTML site Mark was running. Those were the days....
  17. I'm defiantly backing Jim on this and forwarding this article to my HR at work. I work for an entertainment company called Staging Connections and we have numerous amount of polices in place to make sure both us employees and all guests are safe at any event we are involved in. There's been some serious incidents like a good 70-80 kg Avenger light stand come crashing down smashing a table to bits. Lucky it happened during a rehearsal and no one was hurt. But it is a serious and very dangerous business so I'm glad to see someone out there trying to improve the safety for everyone. /2cents
  18. Ahaha Im still trying to decrypt these bad boys!
  19. Has anyone got a better steam link? This ustream one is shocking for me. So laggy
  20. Also something I thought Id mention... As I was listening to the the radio waiting for the announcement, a Triple M Music Jury add came on which used Victimized with the end bit of Skin to Bone as its like theme music. It caught me by surprise.
  21. Did shinoda change his twitter name from mshinoa? (shows you I dont use twitter anymore )
  22. Tickets here in Australiia always seem to be much more expensive. I remember Metallica was an outrageous price last time they were out here. Over $200 bucks easy. Muse were actually quite a bit too. That made me make the decision not to go. Just a couple of my recent shows have had pretty big price tag. Soundgarden were $139, Foos were $130 (and that was nose bleed seats) and Chris Cornell's song book was $109. I remember LP was around the $115 to $150 mark last time they were here so I honestly have no problem with that $109 price tag
