I just answered your Q in the shoutbox... *PASTE* MrXero, Thats where guys like him always work. Very very very rarely they will be somewhere else (like for Soundwave brisbane, he did it in the back of a truck on the side of the stage. Sean posted a photo.

Heres a couple from the shows Ive been too. -20/10/07 - Sydney, My first LP show. I kinda had an idea of what I was going to get set list wise from reading stuff off here, but I still was blown away when the lights went out and One Step Closer intro started with the Kubuki. It was a great "Welcome to your first Linkin Park show" for me. And mention goes to Faint with the extended Outro. That has always been one of my all time favorites and for it to close the show with that massive outro was something real special. -04/12/10 - Newcastle, Well I was volunteering for MFR then so It was pretty much a score show for me. And I was lucky enough to get a M&G for the show. The rest is pretty much history. I was surprised when the guys said yes to getting me up on stage. I go from scoring the show through MFR, meeting the guys to playing with them in a matter of hours! So that was that! Plus I got access to the band and crews catering before the show. I dont know what was better, that or being on stage -15/12/10 - Sydney Night two + Summit, There's a couple of mentions here. First goes to Blackout getting a run. It was debuted two nights before and I thought I wouldn't see it at all this tour (the one song off ATS I wanted to see live). So BANG There it was and it fucking rocked! Second goes to Bleed it out with the APFMH breakdown. I wanted to hear that real bad but only got BITS the other nights. But just my luck I got it. Lastly was the band letting me up a second time to play on Faint in front of an audience which family and friends were in, but not only that let me do it with Brad on bass. Will always be my favorite LP show without a doubt. You cannot top that moment. -24/02/13 - Sydney Soundwave, After already being on a buzz from the Brisbane show the night before and meeting the band before the show, words cannot explain that feeling when I had when I could here that Synth part of Intro for APFMH. I remember just loosing my shit. I waited since my very first show to see that live. And boy did the guys deliver. The crowd went nuts! I'll also mention the stopping of POA by Chester when he saw the guy having trouble in the pit. I had seen them do this before in the past on videos etc but it feels completely different when your in the crowd. And not only did they surprise me, they surprised everyone else in the crowd. They gained a lot of respect by the crowd knowing they give a fuck about the people down there in the pit. Awesome moment. 27/02/13 - Melbourne Sidewave, When I heard Tinfoil/Faint I knew this show wasn't going to be as spectacular as the night before. But come Encore, Mike gave us the choice between A Place For My Head and In The End. Being in the middle of bit you could hear ITE was getting all the votes but the band played APFMH anyway. That was real cool of them. And then Rob threw the drum solo in surprisingly as well. Those two things pretty much made the show for me. 02/03/13 - Adelaide Soundwave, This one isn't so much a LP surprise, but I thought it was worthy of a mention. I chose to hang this one out at the back of the D barrier because my ribs were looking nice and blackish after being on the barrier for the other shows. I met a dude who was hanging up the back next to me, he wasn't an LP fan but was hanging around to watch Metallica afterwards. By the time LP got into Somewhere I belong he turned to me and said "This performance alone is worth the price of my ticket". For someone to say that about the guys performance is pretty cool. I also want to make an honorable mention to two shows I was watching online. First goes on iTunes festival, the guys pulling Rolling In The Deep out in the encore surprised me. I thought that would be a LPU summit only thing but they ended up working into the set. And not only that, every now and again I see MTV, Channel V or one of our TV music channels play that performance randomly. Second pretty much goes to the entire iHeartRadio set the guys did recently. Opening the show with ITE which had that Piano intro was a massive surprise. Not only that but cutting verses out of songs was something I didn't see coming. Basically half the set was all abbreviated songs. So yeah, that was an interesting performance to watch, especially when I had no idea on what was coming.

Like I said in the other thread... Haha but yeah Awesome show. Tied fav show of the tour with the Sydney Soundwave gig. Still awesome stuff though!

Exactly the same for me. Hearing the song Ive been waiting to hear since my first LP show back in 2007 is the best feeling ever. I'll never forget that Sydney Soundwave APFMH shitting my pants reaction.

Ladies and Gentlemen, 59:26 on the video, Just Pez rocking the gun show hahaha -
I found it just after I posted this. Is the MTV special (which is what I found on YouTube) any different to the DVD version. I didn't know the DVD had the special on it.
-
This one might be a little difficult. I remember seeing a video years ago, (for some reason I thought I saw it on the Frat Party DVD) but theres a clip where LP were at a restaurant or a bar or something and the cover band that were actually playing started playing Points of Authority (I think). You see the guys rocking out to it. Does anyone know the clip Im talking about and/or where I can find it?

A page with a list of everyone who has joined the Stage with LP before eg Xzibit, Styles of Beyond etc with maybe show page links attached to their name? Edit: 2000 post, yewwwwww

It actually goes by both names, but My Name is what it appears as on Xzibits album. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_vs._Machine

Bumping this because I thought it was worth a mention. Mike discussed before Castle of Glass that the band were given plaques before show from Warner Music Australia in the form of Long Board Skateboards. A video has appeared of the boards actually being made. Its pretty cool so check it out http://vimeo.com/60416568 -
There's no way there. Hes just keeping rhythm like many other drummers do. Plus that bass part isn't even fast enough to consider having a double pedal. The best thing to do is watch the bass drum itself. The shine of the lights helps show you when hes kicked.

This ones a little bit of an odd ball. Well first of all Clarity and Bunker from LPU 12 are seeds that started during the MTM recording process. Second of all, I believe 'Song C - You don't know' could be What we Don't know from LPUX CD. This would make it two songs (the other being Song Q aka Hand Held High) that were originally Brads Seeds that we know of. I think 'Yo!' might of been one too but there no info on if it had a Song # title, LASTLY, I can see something a little interesting, there's a folder called 'get what I deserve' which of course is lyrics to what we know as New Divide. The question is, did LP go back to Seeds and recreate this under the name Megatron (Remember, the Transformer 2 track ideas were called Megaton and Bumblebee) or is this really just a coincidence....
-
I know there not legal here so don't think I'm asking for them but... Have New Divide/SOTD/BTH/BID been cracked into multitracks yet? Just saves me from continually searching the internet.

Agreed, Although its really sloppy sometimes (seeing it hard for Brad to lead the song when he doesnt have In ear monitors therefore no click track to keep time) is actually an kick ass song live. I would of liked to see it rotated with IMR but I wouldnt want it dropped at all. -
For those who had the chance to see the ATS interludes live

I loved majority of then, I really wish they kept 'the radiance' after Numb, it worked so well. -
The guys in the Red shirt, Honda civic tour shirt and the black hat at LPs security. The dude in the Orland magic singlet/jersey is Joes DJ tech, Missy is the one in the purple top like Mike said (Michaelllllllllllllllllllllll, I know youuuuuuu) and I cant name the other two.

I have a couple pop into my head every now and again that why I asked if there was an topic. Here's a couple. -A feature like Setlist Fm where you can click 'I attended this show', could help getting info about shows easier. -a way we can select all shows that has happened in a certain city or state or country. Eg allows me to see what songs and sets the guys have played in Australia without going year by year. -Maybe making the site a little more interactive somehow. It seems like the only interaction visitors can do is through the forums and shoutbox. I'll post a couple more later. I do second a couple more mods/admins idea. It took forever to update the Perth setlist in the main post etc.

Thanks! I'm yet to go through a bunch of Proshots from 2010 onwards to see what I can get. Ive gotten a fair amount so far too
-
Its Australian Slang, I know what it is, I own one and have worked for a company where their main products are samplers :S Its comes from the Term Keyboard and Sampler Pad mashed together = Keypad. It was pretty much just Mike on the keyboard messing around with the chord progression before the long like every other time.

Wow, WTFE Brad actually plays Lead, Just because its not for the entire song doesn't mean it isnt lead. Solo = Lead guitar. Also mike doesnt even touch a guitar In WTCFM, Brad plays the only guitar part (well kinda) in the song in the breakdown. PS, Dont get your hopes up that LP Actually did the harlem shake, all that happened was Joe played the song after the bridge. I would of lost my shit if they did actually do it thought haha. -
