How much more time until the show starts?
-
It's not like it matters if we get the bonus track does it? We already have Morning After.
-
Not sure why they would change the set after not changing it last show, but who knows. And more importantly, who cares? The band just seems on fire right now, I wish I was going to a show Everyone who is going have some fucking fun.
-
I mean yeah the top form of years ago is something I don't know will ever happen again. Great form was more what I meant by that. Maybe Dead By Sunrise lit a fire under him. I just hope he continues the trend.

I can't get over how amazing Chester is sounding. Seriously. It's most apparent on songs like In The End, Numb and Breaking The Habit (the bridge! wow!). He was never bad at those songs but now he just sounds perfect. I'm no longer wincing at songs like Leave Out All The Rest either. *mancrush* I don't want to get into Chester's personal business, and I don't know exactly why he has regained top form, but I think his decision to quit some old bad habits has definitely contributed.

Mike says that he wouldn't mind playing it but that they'd have to ask Brad and Rob since they haven't played it in a while. He seemed to infer that Brad is against changing the set from what it's scheduled to be. Interesting. Now everyone who gets pissed about the setlists knows who to get mad at XD

The new Bleed It Out drum solo is sick. Rob is a beast.
-
We've already heard part of Fire, its not just an intro. Unless of course you were being sarcastic and I completely missed it. And psh. Sept. 30th is much more like October. Oh well at least now we know what day to look forward to.
-
Here's a new vid of PoA, part of the new intro, and most of the song (no outro though). I have to give it to Chester his voice is really sounding a lot better this year. I'm really happy about it.
-
As far as I know there aren't any plans to broadcast this show anywhere. Anyone else heard anything on that?
-
I think it'll be a different (a rotated) set but it's not like it would be a whole lot different than the last one. If it is though that'll be a nice surprise.
-
New PoA intro sounds nice, distorted, but nice =P can't wait for some high quality audio. It's slower but a heavier beat.
-
LP definitely does not think about the sets as much as we do XD because we overthink and overanalyze them A LOT. And the point of my post was agreeing with you, what LP does and doesn't has nothing to do with money.
-
Chester quit smoking over a year ago. How is LP just in it for the money just because they didnt play those specific songs? You have to remember that they made all these songs and don't think about the sets as much as we do. We appreciate certain songs because they are old, but to LP they are just songs they've made.
-
A harder song on Chester you mean? Yeah definitely.
-
Wow, New Divide seems to be a pretty challenging song for Chester to do. Not that I blame him it sounds like it would be a pain in the ass to try and sing live. At every show too.
-
Some shows will be, this one unfortunately wasn't.
-
It definitely has more of a straight rock and roll sound to it. Classic sounding. I like it. And I want it. Now.
-
Unless you rip the mp3s from the YouTube videos or someone else does, no there are no mp3s. Someone might though. Although I'm not sure why you'd want an mp3 of a bunch of distorted noise.
-
From what I can hear through the distorted sound, this sounds like one of the best live versions of Leave Out All The Rest they've ever done.
-
Chester sounds nice on No More Sorrow, and those lights were like seizure-inducing. New Divide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eHll0NJnxE&fmt=18

I like those songs too. But I was never expecting old songs this cycle, so I didn't have any expectations. I guess that's why I could honestly care less about the setlists. I've always thought that the 2010 tour would have more surprises. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree because honestly if the band performs well then I could care less what songs were played from what album in what order. Seeing some old songs in the set would be great but it doesn't really phase me either way. The only time setlists disappointed me were in 08, as they were pretty much identical to 07. But I got over it. And we still don't know if this is THE setlist for the summer, as there might be 1 or 2 others, or if it's the planned full-length set (LP apparently went on a bit late.) So I think everyone (including myself) should cool it and wait until a few shows are done with.

How can you be "content" with a show that you DID NOT EVEN GO TO? The setlist does not make the show good or bad. Here's a shocking fact I bet you didn't know: I don't think setlist is very good either! *gasp!* But why aren't I bitching like everyone else? Because I didn't go to this show! This show might have been epic! Chester might have been on fire. But guess what? I don't know how good or bad the show was because I was not there. You seem to treat setlists like a fucking pack of baseball cards, like "oh man! I wish I would've gotten this one or that one." How the band performed is what makes the show good or bad. I could really care less about the set when its all said and done. And this is exactly what I was saying. New Divide is new, but that's "to be expected" (and yes it was expected). Session is a new intro, but that doesn't matter because it's a dumb instrumental. DBS is LP giving us an opportunity to hear some of Chester's solo project early. Of course LP isn't DBS, but who is going to be listening to DBS? LP fans. I'm glad I'll get to hear the songs early. But since these changes aren't what you want, LP is just horrible. And I want you to answer this. If this set had had With You, By Myself, APFMH, and Figure 0.9, and Chester's voice sounded like shit, and the entire band was sloppy, would you be happier with that or the show that actually happened? And does it ever occur to you, and maybe you've never played an instrument or been in a band so I don't know how knowledgable you'd be at this, but if LP haven't played those songs for so long, and LP has been in the studio and Chester has been working double time, that maybe this tour would be the worst tour for them to do those songs? Since they haven't touched those songs in almost 6 years as you say? LP has been busy, and they want to put on a good show, so they'll use the songs they have practiced most recently to do so. That makes sense to me.
-
Something new? Like New Divide? Or Session opening the show? Or yet ANOTHER new intro for a song (Points)? Are you telling me that this set, while not a complete overhaul of the old sets from last year, has nothing new in it? And DBS is going to play some dates as well? And you say LP isn't doing anything new? It seems to me that maybe LP did do something new, but since it isn't exactly what you wanted, you complain. And another thing, why are you complaining about this set when you were not even there? Why would a setlist to a show you are not attending matter and get you so worked up? When you hear someone who went to the show voice dissatisfaction please let me know.

I didn't know this was the first time LP played in Turkey. I'm sure they went home complaining about the setlist.
