I was under the impression you became a fan right before MTM was released during Fort Minor, right? If I had to play the same songs over and over for years I'd be rather tired of them as well, lol. Chester has never been as crowd interactive as Mike. It's been that way since the beginning. Chester really didn't seem all that different during LP's set now than he did last year. He definitely seemed more enthusiastic during the DBS set, but like it was said, why wouldn't he be? It's his first time playing songs that he can say he wrote. It wasn't anyone's experiences but his own. Of course he'd be more excited to play songs he's never played before instead of songs he's been playing now for 3-9 years. Mike has always been the creative control guy in LP, that's why he gave us that stuff. Chester doesn't over analyze that set list... its normal, people aren't as crazy about live stuff like we are. Chester has never changed up the set, or given us random stuff like that... Not because he doesn't care about the fans, but because he simply doesn't think like that. As I said, its been this way since the beginning, nothing is different. I don't really think anything's out of the ordinary here at all. Everything actually seems normal. I think you are simply seeing a clouded picture because the DBS stuff is just beginning, and we are simply not used to it.

Well, nobody really knows. Chester said he would like to do the songs acoustic again, but he never necessarily said for sure if he would put out studio versions of them. As for the cover of Misfit, that's just a live thing for their shows, he never said they would record it themselves and put it out there.

You guys are so silly, lol Anyone who honestly believes that Chester would leave LP for DBS is either on drugs or very misguided, lol. This was a very good interview though. It's one of those rare one's where we get a lot of information we've never had before, lol. Metacritic is probably the worst thing on this side of the millennium, internet-wise. The fact that people take it seriously is an even bigger joke than the last LPU CD...

I personally don't see it happening. For many of the reasons Astat stated. I personally wouldn't mind it, but it just doesn't seem likely. Especially seeing as how the band will have over four albums worth of material to play on the next tour cycle.

Good observation... But regardless of that, this is like... my second favorite track on the album right now... I love this song!!

I honestly don't know if any songs will be dropped. They did alternating setlists last time, so they may just alternate more songs... But probably not, so I'm saying Points of Authority for sure... It's hard to say about the others... From The Inside is also a good candidate. I could totally see them dropping a good song like Faint or something just to make fans go "WTF" lmao

Hahaha... I don't know... I haven't had enough time with OoA yet to make a logical decision. It's VERY hard to say as of now, so I'll have to come back later, like maybe in a week or so. Both albums are very good for different reasons.

I'm guessing intentional, but that's of course, speculation. Actually, this song is probably my least favorite on the album... But that's an early call, we'll see how I feel next week when the album has a chance to sink in better.

Geki already mentioned 'She Couldn't' I think the only demo that stands up well to the finished song is Esaul. Although I do love the little verse Mike has in the Crawling demo... It makes it interesting, should've been kept. The verses from the In The End demo are HOTT!

After all this time... I still love Let Down. The studio version is awesome... although the ending on the acoustic version was far more epic, it is still my favorite. Inside Of Me, My Suffering, Into You, End Of The World, Walking In Circles, and Morning After are all awesome as hell though.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with the 2009 studio version. The remix is epic at times though.

I know of one you have forgotten. Forgotten is fitting, because the only time LP played FRGT/10, Mike played a short piano outro that sort of transitioned into Breaking The Habit. You are also forgetting the intro used on Don't Stay from November of '03 to March of '04.

Oh Jeez... LP has used so many different intro's and outro's for a bunch of their songs over the last nine years... It's be a headache (A very fun headache) to get a comprehensive list together. Your list is pretty good, but you are missing a lot. I should make an interactive list of everything they've used with downloads as examples.

You people really are far too serious here (i.e. Boring). And I don't care if it's his decision or not... If it was a live show he recorded or something.. fine, but this is different, he didn't make it himself. There really is no excuse why people cannot share things like this. EDIT: I'm sorry if I seem like an idiot from this post, but when people cannot do something as simple as sharing an audio track because they are too greedy to let everyone else experience it, it really pisses me off... I'm sorry, but other than greed there really is no excuse.

Wow, awesome. I'm definitely excited for Too Late, Let Down (although I think I'll end up liking the version they played in '05 better), Condemned, You know what, I'm going to enjoy the whole album most likely. I'm sure these songs will grow on a lot of people who have shrugged them off so far... I'll just wait for it.

Yeah and I'm sure Chester really cares if you, of all people, want to hear his wedding song or not, lol. Wait... You've actually heard that song in question, right? And Chester makes more than enough money with LP, so I'm sure there was some eagerness just to get his songs out there and have fun with it... I'd speculate money is one of the least of his worries with DBS.

Well, isn't it obvious? People are haters, lol. The lyrics are fine and anybody who is calling this "Given Up part 2" is obviously suffering from some kind of mental illness. And anyone who thinks that the lyrics/music on this album is weak are obviously not Linkin Park fans for overly obvious reasons that I don't need to state, haha... Green Day? Auto-tune? lmao... honestly...

This song goes with the other songs very well... I think this album will be very good overall. I'm loving the guitar solo in this song, I'm loving the tune!

Holy shit! Hopefully a rip of this turns up... This is the best from DBS that I've heard personally, I'm totally loving the style of this song.
