That's exactly it though... Why should LP come first? Because some of us fans believe so? Because it was around first? Seriously... He was the only member not apart of the original dynamic seed of Linkin Park.. and most of us who heard the Xero demo have realized that Linkin Park could not have been Linkin Park without Chester. Linkin Park is a six man outfit where they all work together to make it what it is... Chester should not owe LP anything, and LP shouldn't owe him anything. Obviously his band members in LP don't seem to mind that he's doing DBS, in fact, from what has been said... they seem to embrace it. If he doesn't want the DBS music in LP, there is probably a reason for that... besides, a majority of LP's creative direction is dictated by Mike it would seem... It's his fucking music, why shouldn't he do what he wants with it? I just honestly can't understand why people are giving a man a hard time for making the music he wants to make, and doing it the way he wants to do it... some of you are honestly no better than the record companies we condemn, and some of you are even more selfish. (This is a broad statement not directed at anyone in particular) I'm sorry but that's how it is, and your blind ambition to get another LP record as quick as possible would seem to cloud your better judgement. (This is a broad statement not directed at anyone in particular) Besides... We all know that the fans with no inside knowledge of how things really work inside LP's camp would know far more about it than the guy who recently toured with Chester.

DBS has been in the making since 2005... you must be misinformed, because Chester put DBS on hold for LP and ultimately Minutes to Midnight... I'm not saying people can't have negative opinions about the band because I always do... However since he has devoted a whole decade to Linkin Park, anyone saying he can't do Dead By Sunrise for himself is simply selfish. There is no other truth... Sorry, but sometimes the truth hurts.

Regardless on if DBS is holding up LP... God forbid after around 10 YEARS of dedication to LP, Chester holds them up for a FEW MONTHS to do his own music vision for once. I don't remember anybody freaking out this bad when Mike did Fort Minor... The fans who honestly have to bitch about this piece of the puzzle do not deserve another LP record... As for thinking that DBS not having some sort of website to formally announce stuff, and thinking its all about the radio, I believe they are VERY misinformed....

Besides the obvious one's already mentioned like KROQ AAC, RaR, and the European shows with RME... I think I'd like to hear 06.05.2007 East Rutherford, NJ, Giants Stadium Parking Lot, Bamboozle Festival the most... It's be the only DSP live version of "Runaway" and that alone makes it something special for the collector's aspect of my brain.

I already joined for my LPU8 package... late I know but it was the most unique package thus far IMO. LPU9 is obviously even better, so I'll be doing this whole thing again soon. Good stuff, this is one of those very exciting times to be an LP fan.

Look, I don't want to beat around the bush... I want the link, and I know its easy for everyone else who has the ability to hear it to threaten everyone with warnings, but I don't feel like PMing everyone who is currently signed in who I have suspicion to believe has what I'm looking for turning what could take a few simple minutes into hours of time that doesn't need to be wasted. Wow, I'm go glad at least Figure.09 has lyrics, it must sound awesome! It's a shame that I haven't heard it yet... I wish I could listen to the tracks right now. I'm upset Stick N Move doesn't have lyrics, but I can deal... if I heard it. EDIT: Just out of curiousity... Who has it? It's hard to guess unfortunately...

Ignorance is bliss. This thread is rather funny in that way... Who's to say which is band is better? It all comes down to opinion, and this is an LP forum. I'm not the biggest Paramore fan in the world, but I have enough respect for them not to drill them into the ground because their fans are cheating in an online award that honestly doesn't mean anything. Band bashing because you don't personally like their music is the most ridiculous and idiotic thing I am forced to witness on the internet... We LP fans know of this, as Linkin Park has been bashed quite consistently for some time now. Paramore is seems to be one of the more down to earth, honest bands around... I haven't really witnessed anything that warrants so much Paramore hate. Regardless, I would have voted for Linkin Park.

lmao, basically every idea was shot down right here... From what I've seen, it seems you you want the LPL download sections to be special and include all of the great exclusive's. I definitely think the demo's should be there... there really is no definitive place to get all of the demo's at once... It really is confusing... Other than that though, I'm really looking forward to it!

I'm confused as to why there is a vote... It should be expanded to include more info.. I was always wondering why it was so thin. It's a common sense thing IMO... but it's cool... good to get a say, which is an obvious yes.

I like this song.. It was initially my favorite the first couple of times I gave the album a spin. And in an interesting turn of events, my mom stole my CD just for this song...

Only on LPL, lol. This is definitely something to speculate. Hopefully we get a definitive answer in the future... I actually love this sample... It's second only to the "You cannot fuck with this band" thing they used to play as well, IMO.

Wow, I was a little kid when this came out! Hybrid Theory is still awesome, and I will definitely play the whole album today in tribute. The first LP song I heard was Runaway, hated it at first. A couple of months later I saw the video for Crawling, and found myself getting hooked on Shinoda's one liner, lol. I eventually became obsessed, and by 2003, I was the biggest LP fan I could find around me, hahaha.

I'm gonna say it's something no one has guessed yet, lol. I hope not though, because you guys have guessed a lot of awesome stuff!

That's very true as well... Let's remember, Chester put this off now for nearly four years to make time for Minutes to Midnight. People often forget that when they get mad that Chester's taking time out of LP for DBS.

I was under the impression you became a fan right before MTM was released during Fort Minor, right? If I had to play the same songs over and over for years I'd be rather tired of them as well, lol. Chester has never been as crowd interactive as Mike. It's been that way since the beginning. Chester really didn't seem all that different during LP's set now than he did last year. He definitely seemed more enthusiastic during the DBS set, but like it was said, why wouldn't he be? It's his first time playing songs that he can say he wrote. It wasn't anyone's experiences but his own. Of course he'd be more excited to play songs he's never played before instead of songs he's been playing now for 3-9 years. Mike has always been the creative control guy in LP, that's why he gave us that stuff. Chester doesn't over analyze that set list... its normal, people aren't as crazy about live stuff like we are. Chester has never changed up the set, or given us random stuff like that... Not because he doesn't care about the fans, but because he simply doesn't think like that. As I said, its been this way since the beginning, nothing is different. I don't really think anything's out of the ordinary here at all. Everything actually seems normal. I think you are simply seeing a clouded picture because the DBS stuff is just beginning, and we are simply not used to it.
