Not exactly. Nocturnal is most likely a Nobody’s Listening demo. Serpent is most likely not it, having no clean guitar recorded for it, it couldn’t be Numb. Numb was written late so it could either be the blank space or not on the board yet. Keep in mind, one of the working titles has to be “Lost” because it was still being worked on at the time, and the only one that really makes sense is “Serpent” because “Cumulus” we know was a different demo, and Resolution didn’t have dirty guitar, and probably didn’t end up with it. I’m pretty doubtful that “Lost” has clean guitar on it but we’ll have to wait and find out.

there probably are live drum samples made by LP, just not recorded during the album sessions. It would explain Nocturnal and Session not having drums marked on the board. The most likely case is were left with these 18 Tracks recorded drums at NRG: 1 Sick 2 Drawing 3 Cuidado 4 Husky 5 Faint 6 Interrogation 7 Figure.09 8 Plaster II 9 Pretty Birdie 10 Shifter 11 Serpent 12 Resolution 13 Wesside 14 Healing Foot 15 A.06 16 Cumulus 17 Numb 18 Massive (19 Nocturnal) (20 Session) if that’s the case, we’ve got 20 songs in total worked on in the final process.

that’s why i thought “Nobody’s Listening” was Nocturnal. Only one with No live drums on it. same with Session. I think the 8 remaining that would make sense are 1 Lost (possibly Serpent) 2 Fighting Myself (possibly Cumulus) 3 More The Victim (possibly Resolution) 4 Massive 5 Healing Foot 6 A.06 7 Wesside 8 Plaster II (another demo of Figure.09) edit: I think that “Healing Foot” might be the Rob Drum Track. And like I already mentioned, the first three (“Lost” at least, definitely) are probably the three unreleased finished songs from Meteora, with everything done for them, drums, guitar, bass, scratching, and vocals. (IMPORTANT): One of the 8 is probably Plaster II, another demo of Figure.09. I think that Resolution, Cumulus, and one more (likely Serpent) are likely the working titles for the 3 first songs if they were the 3 completed like we think, which is pretty likely. Then “Resolution” on Lost Demos would likely be the original demo for whatever song it is.

they probably are. They’re the only other two that have “finalized” titles, and we know there was probably 3 recorded during the album recording sessions that were cut. One is probably that “Cumulus” demo finalized with vocals, which would be really cool to hear if that’s what it is. The instrumental of Lost in the clips we’ve heard is definitely different from a lot of the songs on the album. Sounds like it’ll have heavier choruses and more chill electronica style verses. It’s one of those songs that was probably cut so it wasn’t too different from the rest of the album. Still I think It’s going to be a great track.

I hope LP does another Q&A for Meteora20 too. I wanna hear Lost but I also want to know about it. Stuff like what was its story and why was it cut. Warner said it’s a track from the 2002 album recording sessions (NRG), so this’ll be the first full extra song we hear from Meteora, and that’d be cool to know more about it after it being solely just within a few short clips with no info for 20 years.

They totally should do that! @martinezstated it was “confirmed to be” the track it in his leaks list as a side note. If “Lost” actually is not TTTAMP, that will be mildly disappointing. Not on LP’s part of course, whatever song “Lost” is it’ll be awesome to hear! But it’d be the community not being honest. I trust martinez and everyone because people have always been honest in this community. And I only say this because we all have been hyped up and prepared for it to be TTTAMP for the past 2 weeks.

simple misunderstanding by me. My bad on that. Anyways, as far as voicemails go, I’m thinking: today was Numb (28) tomorrow is gonna be From The Inside (29) monday will be Breaking the Habit (30) tuesday might be a “tomorrow” message. (31) wednesday is the day of the Box Set trailer, and release of “Lost”. (1)

I definitely have a feeling “Lost” is going to blow up. Like millions of views blow up just as “She Couldn’t” did in 2020. The iconic Meteora sound is so recognizable by fans. I’m sure there’s also hardcore fans out there who haven’t heard of the “thoughts that take away my pride” track in years, and will hear it for the first time, recognize what it is and be like “i know this from somewhere!” https://youtu.be/HTQJswj5o-E https://youtu.be/Uq3_obTpsaE https://youtu.be/IQH5mdAvfyo

That is possible. But I feel like if they dropped a Numb demo it’ll probably be in March at some point. A numb demo isn’t even listed, sadly. Same with Sick (Don’t Stay demo). Numb and Nobody’s Listening may not have had full enough demos possibly, and the final version we’ve heard might be too similar to the demo version. Sick, though we know it’s different, more “reggae rock” like I think Mike described it. That could be interesting to hear. Either way, even though we all know it’s coming, I’m still going to freak out the day I see “Lost (Official Audio) - Linkin Park” on youtube.
