  1. SMH šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø Itā€™s NOT just one sample, bruh. Itā€™s got the same key, tempo, and besides all of that, itā€™s already been confirmed by a note by Brad in the new Meteora book that Resolution became Lost. The demo got reassembled a lot. People gotta realize that Demos can be very different from the final version of a song. Use Shifter for example, itā€™s pretty different than From The Inside, maybe not as far as Resolution is from Lost but that just means it got changed a little bit more than most.
  2. Likely. It probably was just disassembled down. Like Don Gilmore said in Making of Meteora, ā€œWeā€™ll rip a song to shreds and then build it back up, then rip it back down if thatā€™s what it takes.ā€ Thatā€™s probably what happened to Resolution. They ripped it down into smaller pieces and reshaped it around its base, keeping the working title and everything. Which is why itā€™s on the song board still as ā€œResolutionā€ but being recorded in its final form, Lost.
  3. Iā€™ll never put stuff out there unless Iā€™m positive about it. Ya got my word on that And now It seems obvious Serpent and Nocturnal are definitely Numb and Nobodyā€™s Listening. We just donā€™t know which is which but hopefully we will find this out. with Resolution being the demo of Lost, We get both a fully finished unreleased Meteora song AND its demo version. Legendary.
  4. Well, ā€œMassiveā€ leaked yesterday and I gotta say itā€™s probably one of my favorite Meteora demos, beautiful track. Itā€™s hard to tell but I think I can hear Chester in there in the chorus. Not sure but itā€™s likely itā€˜s all Mike. Ive also heard the A6 demo, which sounds great too, but man I woulda loved it with Chester on the chorus. Cuidado and Interrogation. They sound good. Interrogation is different from Easier To Run tho. Really cool to finally hear the origins of all these album tracks.
  5. It makes sense. Nocturnal was what I originally thought NL was because it had nothing done for it on the board, and if I remember it was like one of the last they finished right? Serpent would make sense to be Numb too, both working titles fit both songs equally I think.
  6. See? Mustā€™ve been the blank space on the song board. Please someone ask him about Resolution, if itā€™s the demo of Lost.
  7. Serpent and Nocturnal Iā€™m pretty positive are the Numb and Nobodyā€™s Listening demo titles. The book might even reveal the demo titles for the missing songs remaining but weā€™ll just have to see.
  8. Thatā€™s three demos already premiered? Can we hear them yet somewhere or do we still have to wait?
  9. Iā€™m not sure what happened but I think People are forgetting that Resolution was on the song board with the 15 final songs at NRG, not just among however many demos were brought into NRG (18 I think). That basically gives away that it became Lost, because of the similarity and no other final song sounds like Resolution other than Lost. Songs can change a lot throughout their process. I THINK the Wizard Song version of Resolution, which is the instrumental released, wouldā€™ve been created around Spring 2002 likely, and the BBB Soundbites version is a later demo of Resolution likely, possibly just weeks before entering NRG. It still holds the same tempo, key, ridiculously similar chord progression, and even though itā€™s got a sample not in the final song, that is probably the same situation as Cuidado and Lying From You
  10. I am fine. Got a little heated, but Iā€™m fine. Weā€™re chilling, no worries. Please try to read my stuff next time and if it doesnā€™t make sense just tell me what doesnā€™t, I wanna make sense to people itā€™s just tough sometimes for me to get through what Iā€™m trying to say.
  11. Welp. Golly Me, Resolution is actually Hit The Floor! Itā€™s gotta be one of the 15 tracks.
  12. BECAUSE ITS A DEMO, SILLY GOOSE! SONGS CAN CHANGE A LOT!!!! And no, They recorded finished demo versions of every song before entering the studio.
  13. Wow guys. You wonā€™t even read my stuff before criticizing me. Come the hell on. We will get this confirmed if it is at one point or another, and if it is I will be very PISSED. If Resolution is not LOST, I will hold myself accountable for my mistake, but thereā€™s a line of whether i think I know and Im damn near positive. I came here to share my knowledge and yā€™all donā€™t give two fucks. Pisses me the fuck off when yā€™all donā€™t read my shit that I put DEEP thought and evidence into. LOST. IS. THE. FINAL. VERSION. OF. RESOLUTION. it just is. you donā€™t gotta believe me but it is.
  14. On page 22, I explain why Lost has to be Resolution. But if that wasnā€™t enough hereā€™s a visual representation of the Meteora board and the songs the titles belong to Heres the FIFTEEN songs (sixteen if you include the two figure.09ā€™s that received vocals but we know these were combined or Plaster II removed to created Figure.09.) The board status nearing the end of vocal recording before Chester gets sick for several weeks. (mid-late October 2002): Cumulus - More The Victim (1) Interrogation - Easier To Run (2) Cuidado - Lying From You (3) BLANK - Fighting Myself (4) Pretty Birdie - Somewhere I Belong (5) Shifter - From The Inside (6) Serpent - Numb or Nobody's Listening (7) Nocturnal - Numb or NL also (8) Session (9) Resolution - Lost (10) Faint (11) Sick - Donā€™t Stay (12) Plaster II - Figure.09 (13 Husky - Hit The Floor (14) Drawing - Breaking The Habit (15) Figure.09 (16) Reasoning: Cumulus is obviously more the victim. The Blank space has to be a song stopped working on. The earliest they stopped work on out of the 15 was Fighting Myself. NOCTURNAL and SERPENT are guaranteed Numb and Nobodyā€™s Listening just one or the other BECAUSE The Wizard Song, Resolution sounds the most like LOST so what other demo would it be for??? I couldnā€™t possibly tell ya. Lying From You??? It must be, right?? Apologies for so many posts, Iā€™m really trying to get this through.
  15. Lost, Numb, or Nobodyā€™s Listening canā€™t be the blank spot, it made it all the way through the process. The only one the blank spot could really be is Fighting Myself since it was the earliest of the 3 to be stopped work on. It wouldnā€™t make sense to have a blank spot unless it once was a song worked on and no longer is.
  16. But they are though. We just didnā€™t know enough for 20 years.
  17. Ok. Iā€™m trying to explain this so please read carefully. ā€œResolutionā€ was among the 15 final songs recorded for Meteora. Weā€™ve seen it on the Meteora board in footage from October 2002, with FIFTEEN songs recorded in the final process. We know what they ALL are now. this ā€œWizard songā€ which is apparently Resolution, wasnā€™t its own song to be one of them, it was the 12 album songs, LOST, Fighting Myself, and More The Victim. Then, confirmed by Mike in the FADER Interview, THIRTEEN went to go to the mix which was the 12 album tracks and ā€œLostā€. Point is, Thereā€™s nothing else Resolution could be other than an early demo of Lost or some other album track which would make no sense at all. All songs worked on in the final process were on the board. Itā€™s 100%. Thereā€™d be no reason to remove them unless work is stopped on them. The only one that was MAYBE in that blank space was Fighting Myself, which would explain the 2 Figure.09 demos, when the band was likely in the process of narrowing it down from 15 to 14 songs
  18. because it literally has to be a demo of Lost lol. Thereā€™s nothing else it could be. Just likely a very early demo of it. Canā€™t be itā€™s own song because it was on the Meteora song board when the band cut down to 15 songs, which we know all of. Same key and tempo and even the lyrics in Resolution follow somewhat of the final lyrics.
  19. Awesome! Canā€™t wait to hear all of these legendary demos! By the way, since Resolution is on the meteora board in NRG, iā€™ve basically come to the conclusion that itā€™s a demo of ā€œLostā€. Same tempo, key and chord progression and I donā€™t think out of 18 songs they would have brought another Lost into the studio. Itā€™s also among 15 songs on the board which are probably the songs in the final process, which we know all of now, and I think TWS/Resolution resembles Lost to heavily to not be a demo for it. Just saying that because it was on the board, it kind of makes sense that it would be. Also the BBB sound bites video. I think the evidence is enough but itā€™d be good at some point to get it confirmed by Mike if we can. And of course Iā€™ve gotta hear it first too to judge lol.
  20. Wild Stuff. I always thought the instrumental in the Wizard Song sounded like Lost. Must be a super early version of the demo. Canā€™t wait to hear it.
  21. No, someone said Resolution was a demo version of Lost. And one other person claiming they have bad memory said it sounded new. Iā€™m going with that it probably is. The source seems pretty unreliable too, mentions hearing a "Don't Stay" demo, which isn't part of the tracklist. But I don't wanna make assumptions, maybe they're being for real who knows. I'm just gonna wait till Friday to find out.
  22. true, I wish MTV and FM made it all the way through like Lost. Theyā€™re all such amazing tracks. But previously everyone thought it was only the 12 that made the album that were mixed and done. Lost (known for years as this ā€œthoughts that take away my prideā€ track) being a mixed and done song is something I donā€™t think anyone really expected or realized how close to making the cut it always was. For years I had always thought of this track as like the ā€œsecret songā€ of Meteora, because of how much like the finished songs on the album the track sounded in all the clips we heard of it and the fact it wasnā€™t released in any form at all. Crazy that it actually was that one song that just didnā€™t make it onto Meteora.
  23. All those things are just differences in mixing choices made by Andy and Manny I think, as well as to do with the mixes being 20 years apart from each other. Mike said the band and Manny listened to the original mix and then decided to give it the new one. The whole point of the new mix is to keep the familiar classic sound of Linkin Park and Meteora but do it in a way that sounds more presentable nowadays, so it would appeal to more audiences. Makes perfect sense. But also Iā€™m really glad theyā€™re including the 2002 mix too, and not just keep it buried forever.
