  1. Agreed. We still got the song. That’s what matters. I always thought “TTTAMP” seemed a bit unfinished anyways. My initial impression was that Lost made it that far and that was it. Scrapped because it couldn’t get good enough lyrics. But it turned out to be a fully finished song. The summer sanitarium clip kinda first gave me the feeling it was a completed studio track and we’d just never heard it.
  2. Nobody’s Listening might be but Don’t Stay had an interesting demo that’s different from the final. It had like a latin-sounding guitar in it originally or something. Thatd be something worth hearing.
  3. true. That one too. Also Shortcut, the Fighting Myself demo was used in the Work in Progress DVD at some point. I remember hearing it.
  4. For Lost, I think I like the sound of the 2002 mix better, but the keyboards in the chorus are louder in the 2023 mix, and I absolutely love that chorus sample, whatever it is, probably something Brad did because of the BBB soundbites clips we’ve heard. I think both mixes are pretty split for me in terms of which one I think sounds better. For the song itself, 2002 mix. The 2023 mix is definitely more emotional though. I do wonder if the Thoughts That Take Away My Pride demo version actually exists. Be interesting to hear. I’m not counting on it though. The final lyrics were better anyways, though hearing early versions of songs is cool too. Fighting Myself and More The Victim never got mixed back in the day, but I imagine the original rough mixes wouldn’t sound too different than the ones today. Just judging on Lost, which kept its vibe in the new mix. And Where the hell is Sick, the Don’t Stay demo!? LPU just Maybe..? Only time will tell but honestly after this release I don’t think we need any more Meteora demos. This 20th Anniversary basically uncovered everything we didn’t know before about Meteora.
  5. I prefer the 2002 mix of Lost. It’s not that I think the 2023 mix is bad at all, it’s just that the song was made in 2002 originally so it’s so much more authentic and nostalgic for me. The 2023 mix is still beautiful having a more modern and fresh sound, while keeping that classic LP vibe. It also really highlights Chester’s incredible vocals on that song so much better. But the original mix is just so much more powerful to me for some reason. The new mix sounds like a mix of Minutes to Midnight, Living Things, and Meteora, which is great but the original mix keeps the original vibe of Meteora, and it’s almost like hearing the album for the first time again with the 2002 mix. That’s why i prefer the OG Lost over the updated mix, but both of them are beautiful.
  6. The same situation we had with Hearsay/Nursery actually being "Husky". Interesting stuff!
  7. I do hope LP releases the 2002 mix on youtube at some point, so we have it in its original quality. I don’t have the deluxe CD set so Ive only heard the leak, but I am getting it soon. The only real issue is it’s a tad fuzzy in some spots and the synths over the chorus are barely audible, and i’m pretty sure that’s not to do with the mix, but I might be wrong. I’m not really an expert on stuff with ripping CD audio so I could be very wrong, and the it might just be the mix.
  8. Chester and Mike could sing very similarly when singing the less heavy stuff. I think that’s probably why. Massive doesn’t have any heavy, aggressive or high vocals, which is where Chester really stood out the greatest from everyone on planet earth.
  9. It’s hard to tell. I think it’s all Mike, but the higher harmonizing vocals in the chorus MIGHT be Chester.
  10. as it turns out, there’s actually quite a few sounds in the 2002 mix that got sort of replaced in the new mix and some taken out and some added. Noticeably the first (cleaner) half of the bridge is quite different. Andy and Manny both did amazing jobs on mixing the song. I can’t decide which one I like more. Both are different but I honestly think it’s perfectly split for me. I definitely think the 2002 mix sounds a lot more early 2000’s and more retro LP, and it’s cool to hear what the song would’ve sounded like if put on the album back in 2003. It fits in very well with the rest of the albums sound at least I think so.
  11. Lost 2002 Mix has leaked and to no surprise, it’s the summer sanitarium/Mikes Shirt version. Sounds just like a Meteora album track. It’s literally a fully done Meteora song we’ve never heard until now. And those guitars are just orgasmic in it man like Holyyy. So much more Meteora and Hybrid Theory vibes with it overall. Not necessarily better than the new mix, though maybe slightly. But it’s far more nostalgic. Pretty much every song Andy has mixed just gives me purified nostalgia, man.
  12. I put the isolated Lost vocals over Resolution too, and it lines up perfectly in every part. Resolution is definitely similar enough to be a demo of Lost, it’s not like totally different aside from key and tempo. There’s actually a lot of similarities in the tune, the beat, and chord progression.
  13. SMH 🤦‍♂️ It’s NOT just one sample, bruh. It’s got the same key, tempo, and besides all of that, it’s already been confirmed by a note by Brad in the new Meteora book that Resolution became Lost. The demo got reassembled a lot. People gotta realize that Demos can be very different from the final version of a song. Use Shifter for example, it’s pretty different than From The Inside, maybe not as far as Resolution is from Lost but that just means it got changed a little bit more than most.
  14. Likely. It probably was just disassembled down. Like Don Gilmore said in Making of Meteora, “We’ll rip a song to shreds and then build it back up, then rip it back down if that’s what it takes.” That’s probably what happened to Resolution. They ripped it down into smaller pieces and reshaped it around its base, keeping the working title and everything. Which is why it’s on the song board still as “Resolution” but being recorded in its final form, Lost.
  15. I’ll never put stuff out there unless I’m positive about it. Ya got my word on that And now It seems obvious Serpent and Nocturnal are definitely Numb and Nobody’s Listening. We just don’t know which is which but hopefully we will find this out. with Resolution being the demo of Lost, We get both a fully finished unreleased Meteora song AND its demo version. Legendary.
  16. Well, “Massive” leaked yesterday and I gotta say it’s probably one of my favorite Meteora demos, beautiful track. It’s hard to tell but I think I can hear Chester in there in the chorus. Not sure but it’s likely it‘s all Mike. Ive also heard the A6 demo, which sounds great too, but man I woulda loved it with Chester on the chorus. Cuidado and Interrogation. They sound good. Interrogation is different from Easier To Run tho. Really cool to finally hear the origins of all these album tracks.
  17. It makes sense. Nocturnal was what I originally thought NL was because it had nothing done for it on the board, and if I remember it was like one of the last they finished right? Serpent would make sense to be Numb too, both working titles fit both songs equally I think.
  18. See? Must’ve been the blank space on the song board. Please someone ask him about Resolution, if it’s the demo of Lost.
  19. Serpent and Nocturnal I’m pretty positive are the Numb and Nobody’s Listening demo titles. The book might even reveal the demo titles for the missing songs remaining but we’ll just have to see.
  20. That’s three demos already premiered? Can we hear them yet somewhere or do we still have to wait?
  21. I’m not sure what happened but I think People are forgetting that Resolution was on the song board with the 15 final songs at NRG, not just among however many demos were brought into NRG (18 I think). That basically gives away that it became Lost, because of the similarity and no other final song sounds like Resolution other than Lost. Songs can change a lot throughout their process. I THINK the Wizard Song version of Resolution, which is the instrumental released, would’ve been created around Spring 2002 likely, and the BBB Soundbites version is a later demo of Resolution likely, possibly just weeks before entering NRG. It still holds the same tempo, key, ridiculously similar chord progression, and even though it’s got a sample not in the final song, that is probably the same situation as Cuidado and Lying From You
  22. I am fine. Got a little heated, but I’m fine. We’re chilling, no worries. Please try to read my stuff next time and if it doesn’t make sense just tell me what doesn’t, I wanna make sense to people it’s just tough sometimes for me to get through what I’m trying to say.
  23. Welp. Golly Me, Resolution is actually Hit The Floor! It’s gotta be one of the 15 tracks.
  24. BECAUSE ITS A DEMO, SILLY GOOSE! SONGS CAN CHANGE A LOT!!!! And no, They recorded finished demo versions of every song before entering the studio.
