  1. The sounds are all the same but the mix and EQ is very different on a lot of sounds. Most sounds EQ will likely be a lot more raw on the 2002 mix, like how the other Meteora tracks were done by Andy and at the time of 2002. One example, is that scratch effect after every 2nd snare hit in the verses, again heard in Mikes Shirt LPUTV. Another is just the drum track itself, especially the kicks. And overall the mix is more Andy Wallace sounding for sure you can hear it in higher quality in that clip on the extended summer sanitarium episode on LP’s youtube
  2. Listen to the background music in LPUTV Mikes Shirt. That’s the first verse on the 2002 mix. The bass is a bit more “bassy” and noticeable on the 2002 mix. https://youtu.be/IQH5mdAvfyo Also, I don’t think the 2002 mix has come out anywhere yet, so it wouldn’t be getting radio play yet. You probably heard the modern mix but it’s the same song technically.
  3. Again, never said the modern mix was bad. Meteora has an iconic sound and changing it for a more modern touch is a little unfamiliar. New mix is still good but the original mix is going to be better for the sake of authenticity
  4. It’s the first in line of the tracks on the lost demos, meant to serve as the “main” release for Meteora20. So no it’s not a demo, but it’s still unreleased. All other 13 tracks in the CD are technically considered demos so “Lost Demos” actually makes a ton of sense for the name and the placement of Lost. I think a lot of people in the community are having trouble liking Lost right now because we’ve only heard the modern mix. Trust me guys, the 2002 mix is gonna be much better. It’s the actual OG “Lost”. We haven’t heard it yet, and I’m pretty positive it’s gonna sound much more “Meteora” if it’s included on the full album in the Deluxe CD. Most of us myself included will probably like it a lot more. Not to say the modern mix is bad, I love LP’s new music, and Manny Marroquin is great. it’s just that Lost isn’t a new song, it’s from 2002. And with LP, a song from 2002 with its original mix definitely beats any remix or remaster.
  5. no real point of posting this, it’s too blurry to detect the code. also, whatever it leads to is probably not even gonna be up until release day anyways.
  6. It’s also possible they never had a finished version of those drums. (Chorus or verses may not have been recorded or had a finished version). The part we heard in the video clip was of the bridge, we know now. It’s hard to say since we don’t know exactly how soon into the process HF got cut but I’m assuming it had to have been one of the earliest to go. Great demo, but It’s definitely different than the stuff they were trying to do for Meteora at the time.
  7. They probably never found the session with those drums. Either that or they just didn’t sound good (was too overpowering) over the rest of the “demo” sounds in the mix. Sadly I don’t think HF made it past drums at NRG. Maybe bass but guitar is doubtful.
  8. We previously knew "Lost" as the long time grail "Thoughts That Take Away My Pride" demo from the Making of Meteora DVD. Now that "Lost" is out, and we've heard the whole thing in full, there are still many videos the song was hiding in all this time. Here is every video the song has made an appearance in throughout the years before its release: LPTV 1 Episode 4: The Studio II - 7:32-7:39: Lost (Recording process of a verse) (No vocals yet) LPTV 1 Episode 5: The Vocals - 1:37-1:42: Lost (Recording process of the bridge) The Making of Meteora DVD - 24:31-24:36: Lost (Same clip above) The Making of Meteora DVD - 24:54-24:57: A lyric sheet shown for Lost. It includes the final lyrics of the 2nd verse and the demo lyrics over the bridge. The chorus was likely on the same paper, just not shown. The Making of Meteora DVD - 26:33-26:34: Chester's scream after messing up the demo bridge on Lost. This video section with Chester saying they rewrote a song "97 times" could be talking about "Lost". It's possible we'll see more on the new DVD in the box set. In 2007, the instrumental of the finished mix was behind two LPTV videos: LPTV 2 Episode 3: Summer Sanitarium (Extended Version) - 2:10-2:41: Lost (2002 Mix) (Instrumental) LPU Exclusive: Mike's Shirt - 0:00-0:58: Lost (2002 Mix) (Instrumental) I think that's everywhere. Still a lot of places the song appeared for it not even being released at the time. Goes to show how finished the song was to have made it in all these clips.
  9. I think a lot of the songs are probably gonna have vocals. They all did on Forgotten Demos on HT20 anyways. Lost, Fighting Myself, and More The Victim just have more completed lyrics, whereas we heard in Healing Foot, sounds a lot more like demo lyrics. If Resolution is a demo of Lost, It’d be cool if the “Thoughts That Take Away My Pride” lyric was in there. It was on the art wall at one point I believe right?
  10. My guess is there probably won’t be one based on how Lost starts and how Numb ends, and also the length of the 2002 mix is the same (3:19) but we’ll have to see maybe they had one for Lost back in 2002-03. It wouldn’t surprise me as it was literally a fully done album track that just got removed in favor of having 12 songs. I think Mike confirmed that “Lost” was the only other song besides all the album tracks, that they actually took into the final mix in NYC. He said somewhere he thought they took 13 to the mix and 12 made it onto the album. Edit: He did say it in “The FADER” interview on Meteora20 I still can’t wait to have a mix of Lost that will blend in with the rest of the album’s sound.
  11. It’s legendary to hear “Healing Foot”. I never thought that song would have received a FULL version of vocals. Another dream come true with this release.
  12. I think LinkinPedia definitely should update the ‘The Making of Meteora’ page. “Lost” is still not mentioned and “Thoughts That Take Away My Pride” is still labeled as unknown. It’s still pretty early I know but someone who can could edit that on there that would be helpful info to have. Thanks guys
  13. Fighting Myself out March 24th!! Revealed on LP’s instagram story
  14. Homie, You’re overthinking stuff. It’s not that serious. And stop acting like you just know everything about my intents. I was never surprised by any reaction. I never thought anyone “SHITTED” on my claim. All I said was it’d be nice if people listen and take it in. I’m not perfect, don’t think anyone is, so if I made a slight mistake in this, it’s my apologies. Healing Foot is indeed “Rob’s Drum Track”. It’s too similar to Broken Foot to not be correlated with it. I’ve known about this connection for a little while already, but never said anything up until recently.
  15. I haven’t been here the last couple of weeks for one. But I know that people often do that without saying any sources. No, I didn’t tell the sources I got them from because I am the source. I made the sonic connections between Broken Foot and the Rob drum track. I never said anyone was skeptical, or that they shouldn’t be, you have every right to be. I just said it’d be nice if people would just take in the info and think about if it makes sense or not. Because the claim was very logical. Never said I expected positivity, but I expect people to read and look into things before judging.
  16. I think it’s the same instrumental heard in the summer sanitarium video. I’ve isolated both of the music in the videos and the I think the only reason the song sounds a bit different is the difference in background noise between the two videos. The guitar is heard for a brief second at the start of the Mikes Shirt video, and it has the finalized tone, same as in the summer sanitarium video, so I doubt it’s a demo version. Both videos feature the finished Lost instrumental and it has to be the 2002 mix. It was the only mix that existed at the time.
  17. Thank you. It’s nice when people listen, and check my sources i give rather than just saying “you don’t know that for sure.” It’s NEVER a flex, I just hear music very attentively, which is why I was able to figure out Mikes Shirt having the instrumental of Lost in it, some years back. I don’t know what else to say, other than it’s going to be Healing Foot. It’s not just a wild guess when it’s highly evidential. A wild guess was saying “Resolution” is the rob drum track.
  18. It’s not a guess. Listen to Broken Foot in full. There’s a part of the song with the EXACT same drum part, not to mention the demo is the same tempo and key. The correlation between the titles is a dead giveaway. And yeah I hate it too. people are calling it Resolution right now, no idea why. Maybe they just thought the title fit it
  19. I think Resolution is Lost’s working title. Lost had to have been one of the titles on the board with the other songs that did make the cut, since it made it all the way through the process. We heard “Resolution” get mentioned in the BBB soundbites video (unlisted), that had the clip of an early demo version of Lost.
  20. A lot of songs have the same length, so it’s impossible to tell with that. Massive and Wesside are probably gonna be new demos to us entirely. Massive MIGHT be a more completed Soundtrack but we don’t know yet. Wesside is definitely a demo title, so it’ll probably be new.
  21. Yea, just trust me guys 😉😉😉 It’s Healing Foot. I got good ears so I was able to make the connections between it and another familar demo we know. The 2002 Mix was the instrumental behind SUMMER SANITARIUM and Mikes Shirt LPTV’s. It’ll be that instrumental in full with the vocals. Literally, it’s a fully finished Meteora track we’ve never heard.
  22. I’ve got Major news about the songs: The rob drum track is “Healing Foot” “Resolution” is likely to be the demo version of “Lost”. I don’t know what “Wesside” and “Massive” are but will probably be brand new demos to us or possibly more complete versions of familiar demos.. Exciting stuff!! Also, the special QR code could very likely be or include the original 2002 mix of Lost we’re getting also on the deluxe CD. Maybe it’ll be added at some point on streaming services too. That’d be really awesome.
  23. I wonder what that special Meteora Card with the QR code that Mike said we should check out when the box set drops was.. Seems like something really interesting..
  24. it’s a looped part of the verse, before vocals were recorded for it.
  25. That one was when I came across the instrumental also playing in the “Mike’s Shirt” Minutes to Midnight era LPTV. And I turned out to be correct, it was also in that video. It’s the same “Lost” 2002 Mix instrumental in the extended Summer Sanitarium LPTV (can tell it’s the original 2002 mix because it was obviously made in 2007 but also you can hear the more live sounding drums in both videos and heavier guitar in the summer sanitarium video). A lot of fans heard the Making of Meteora clip but never knew or thought to look for the instrumental casually appearing behind LPTV videos.
