If you meant how do people know the 25th being the release date, they don’t. it’s just a rumor (I THINK) since it’s two months before the official 20th Anniversary, March 25th. We’ll have to wait and see but it’s likely we’re going to get the track sometime before February, within the next few days, because of LP’s tease on a reveal for January. I don’t know where martinez got this info about the leaks, but since the staff of lplive has told us that the info is real, I trust them. They won’t lie to us. The LP fanbase is very trustworthy. martinez might have access to things or people not everyone does.

January’s coming to a close in one week. We know something is coming before February… That spells something coming real real soon to me

I don’t think that was a hint to a particular song title. I think that was just a seed about the Making of Meteora. And it’s already been leaked that “Lost” is the unreleased song we’re getting as a first release, like “She Couldn’t”. It is confirmed to be the song we know as “thoughts that take away my pride”, the instrumental has also appeared in some LPTV’s.

January 25th would make sense. It’s two months before the official anniversary. I’m hoping that’s the day we’ll get to hear Lost. It’s only three days away, so I guess we’ll see…

just saw the birthday wish on LP’s instagram. Seems like a tease to both that unreleased track and maybe just maybe, hinting more extra footage coming from Making of Meteora… 🤔

Some are gonna be previously unheard unreleased demos and some are gonna be never before heard demos of album tracks we know.

There are 15 songs on the Meteora song board. Session was on the Meteora board, so it still counts as a track. There are at least 14 songs that are confirmed to have vocals recorded for them, I meant to say 15 that were completely done. 11 with vocals are on the album. Session doesn’t have vocals but it still counts as a track, it’s on the board. That still leaves us with at least 3 remaining finalized Meteora songs we’ve never heard. There’s also 12 other demos on there that we’ve never even heard before, so I’m super stoked.

15 songs were completely finished with vocals at NRG, in the final recording process. We haven’t heard 3. It seems like it’d have to be an odd coincidence for there to be 3 “finished titles” on Meteora 20, so it’s pretty likely that “Lost”, “Fighting Myself”, and “More The Victim” are the three remaining songs from the final recording sessions we haven’t heard yet, and we’re getting to for the first time this year.

My guess (I could be wrong) is that 15 could be the pre-NRG demo from 2002. Lost is confirmed to be “Thoughts That Take Away My Pride” so I’m guessing track 1 is the finalized version (that sounds like a Meteora album track) and track 15 might be the 2002 demo that has the Meteora demo sound to it (like Pretty Birdy, Soundtrack, Pepper, etc)

This one’s probably the most known unknown demo because it has so many cover/concept versions on Youtube. I’m pretty sure it never made it that far at NRG, because Mike did talk about it on a stream a few years ago. He said the rest of the guys didn’t really connect too well with it. Hearing it or whatever the demo is would be definitely super cool. I bet it’s one of the tracks on that demos list we saw.

I’m pretty certain also that all the songs coming to Meteora 20 are gonna be on spotify and all music streaming platforms too, like HT20. Once again we’re gonna likely get a bunch of tracks never even heard before to be released publicly everywhere, which is awesome.

Honestly, these past weeks have felt so ridiculously long with all the hype and stuff. Waiting is the hardest part of knowing something long awaited is actually coming. I’ve been hyped about a Meteora release just as much as a Hybrid Theory release because of the fact there’s still so much we haven’t heard. I’m really excited that we’re getting all of this cool stuff and super eager to hear “Lost” and the other songs real soon.

only Plaster II was confirmed wrong actually. Like I’ve said, I think “Serpent” is almost definitely “Lost”. We still don’t know what Nocturnal was for, but I still think it’s Nobody’s Listening. It wouldn’t make much sense for Serpent (having live drums recorded for it), to be Nobody’s Listening (i hear no live drums in it)

That’s what I was saying before, one I think is Cumulus and the other might be Resolution but only time will tell. How cool would it be if all three finalized titled songs are the remaining ones with vocals from NRG; Lost, Fighting Myself, and More The Victim. If that’s really how it is, that’s gonna be so epic. Lost is for sure one, so how about those other two?

I wonder what these other demo titles we’ve never even heard of before are gonna be. “Wesside”, “Massive”, and “Healing Foot”, which is probably related to the Broken Foot demo. Dude they really weren’t kidding when they said exciting things…

I predicted that they were probably the finished vocal versions of “Cumulus” and “Resolution”. Two more songs we know are unreleased tracks, but never heard them. We heard the original Cumulus demo on an LPU before. The band mentioned they tried to work with it but it always sounded too “poppy”. I think it’d be cool to hear the song with vocals if they got finished. Because if so, I’d imagine it’s probably either More The Victim or Fighting Myself.

The first verse is probably going to be the most accurate part, the rest will probably be a bit different. My choruses are probably gonna be similar to it (probably will be the same guitar chords, from what we’ve heard already). I’m also looking forward to hearing how the song actually starts. My prediction is that the vocals start on the first verse. Let’s see if I’m correct.

Hopefully we’ll get some rereleases of LPTVs LPU exclusives and hopefully even some new unseen footage from touring or Making of Meteora. That would be super cool too. I wonder if Lost is going to have the same lyrics we know, “thoughts that take away my pride, trapped in places deep inside”. Or if they’re gonna be different. Chester mentioned rewriting a song “for the 97th time” at the Making of Meteora part where that song was being recorded. It could be a different song they were talking about though. They probably will be the lyrics we know since Lost was already confirmed to be “Thoughts That Take Away My Pride”

The one where Brad is frozen right? Haha, maybe. But there were probably tons of lyrics written in that time of recording at Mike’s home studio in 2002. Tons of versions of lyrics written probably, so I’d imagine Plaster II is a version/variation we’ve never heard. It might just be an instrumental though, since it’s a working title demo.
