I’m pretty sure they did. It has vocals recorded on the song board, and I think it did get vocals. My guess is it could be the 2nd or 3rd track on the demos list. I wonder what song title Lost had at the time of being on the board (because it was recorded with the rest of the songs). I was thinking Serpent but it seems everyone thinks that’s Nobody’s Listening, which makes sense. I feel like Lost has a flute sound on it too (as heard in the Summer Sanitarium video) so it could be Serpent still right? If not it had to have been either missing from the board or maybe it was actually Cumulus or Resolution who knows. Also if Plaster II and Figure.09 were two different songs on the board, how are they the same song? Was Plaster II like a different variation of Figure.09? So many questions but hopefully we’ll get answers on this anniversary. My theory is this: Plaster II was another version or perhaps the original of Figure.09 they kept for a while. Numb was not a working title on the board yet in the pictures we’ve seen because it was one of the last if not the last song they did right? Serpent is the working title for “Lost” Nocturnal is the working title for “Nobody’s Listening” “More The Victim” and “Fighting Myself” are Cumulus/Resolution just maybe. I don’t know if anything about this has been confirmed yet so if it is correct me if i’m wrong 👍

Wow, if we actually get to hear Lost (Thoughts That Take Away My Pride) for the first time this week or if not next that’d be incredible! I know there’s been people around the community much longer than me who have wanted to hear that song for probably almost 20 years now, or ever since the Making of Meteora DVD got released. Those little seeds LP hid in their vids like Summer Sanitarium LPTV and Mike’s Shirt LPUTV, makes me think that song was probably decently known by the band and not just a forgotten demo. It’s one of only very few unreleased songs heard in LPTV videos. Seriously though, it’s been known about longer than Pictureboard, despite it being not as high up of a grail. It’s gonna be cool to finally hear after years of knowing only clips of it. Hopefully the band will talk about it a little bit too. As for the rest of the songs, I’m really excited to hear those too. One of those titles from the Unreleased Demos list is probably Cumulus with vocals, which would be cool to hear too. The Rob Drum Track would be cool to hear too. Everything on that list got me way more hyped up than I already was, and I can’t wait to see an official announcement hopefully very very soon of all this legendary stuff by the band.

I hope we get some Meteora 20 teasers. Stuff like footage snippets on their instagram and such like Hybrid Theory got in 2020. That would be really cool. Obviously it might not be as big as a box set but it’s surely gonna be something big if Mike’s teasing it. And of course, it would be cool if they dropped an unreleased song this month in celebration, much like the “She Couldn’t” release. Any way they do it, I’m excited.

There’s gonna be something. They wouldn’t have teased “exciting things” for 2023 AND a picture of Delta if they weren’t hinting something big coming for Meteora 20. We’ll probably get info sometime next week. They said January and were barely halfway into the month so they’ll tell us when they’re ready. If you notice too, LP has been pretty quiet for months, not posting a whole lot. Similar to how it was the months before HT20’s first announcement, this is probably because they’re prepping… I mostly think it’s Hit The Floor. It just seems like the title fits with the powerful aggression of the track like i’d imagine a “One Step Closer 2.0”
-
i’m probably getting ahead of myself because i’m remembering how we got a ton of teasers in early August 2020 for HT20. It’s not gonna be exactly the same setup as HT20 for sure. Maybe we’re just getting less teasers or they’re waiting till mid-late January to reveal the stuff. I’m hoping stuff gets revealed soon just because it’s possible unheard LP stuff we’re talking about! It’s always too good!!
-
I find it a bit odd though that NOTHING has been said since that email on December 13th. It’s been extremely dry and silent. The suspense has never been realer with an LP thing. I really hope they can start teasing stuff in the coming days. It’s about time we saw something for their second biggest anniversary.

Well A.06 isn’t up on the board and I doubt it’s any of the other working titles, that wouldn’t really make sense since it has its own working title (A.06) so it’d be the 17th one we know. The blank space is the 16th track, and probably the rob’s drum track, I doubt it’s A.06 because it has no guitar recorded for it. It’s probably the Rob song because it’s the only one we know that they could’ve dropped right after drums. I’m not sure exactly the third but I thought Rob said he recorded drums for 18 songs, and would make sense too, considering the existence of Robs Drum Track and A.06. He had to have done AT LEAST 16 (If Im right about Nobody’s Listening having no live drums) he had to have done 1. Sick 2. Pretty Birdie 3. Cumulus 4. Shifter 5. Serpent 6. Plaster II 7. Faint 8. Husky 9. Interrogation 10. Figure.09 11. Session 12. Resolution 13. “Rob Drum Track” 14. Cuidado 15. A.06 16. Drawing 17. (Nocturnal Maybe) so if that’s 16 or 17 and he really did do 18, then there’s one or two more he did that didn’t make it any further

I’m pretty sure A.06’s recording at NRG was only the short version. Hearing a version of it with vocals would be cool though. Rob said he recorded drums for 18 songs right? the three that never made it to vocals at NRG were probably the “Rob Drum Track” “A.06” and a third About announcements, I’m expecting they’ll do the first announcements between somewhere between tomorrow and the 20th. Like they said, they’ll tell us more in January. We’ll see what they have to unveil first. I’m sure It’s gonna be very exciting. They might even reveal stuff on this Friday the 13th. Just because that’s a month after they sent out the email. I’m guessing probably the 13th to 20th we can expect a first announcement.

It’s likely joe’s scratching recorded at NRG. It has that sound to it. The song has the dirty guitar “sound” of the songs on meteora. It has the same drums “sound” of the rest of the meteora songs too. The bass sounds very heavy but not distorted, much like BTH. Phoenix did a very different type of chord progression on the verse for TTTAMP so that’s pretty cool. Brad did two guitar tracks. One is the rhythm with power chords D, F, C, and G. Four guitar chords that aren’t normally used on Meteora which is also very interesting. The other guitar track is harder to hear but it’s a fast strumming octave sound, similar to Crawling but only the high A octave and no other notes, similar to the guitar G octave in Leave Out All The Rest. The song is in A Minor or C Major.

I thought the same thing a little while back. I thought maybe that instrumental used for the “Wizard Song” could’ve been a demo for it. It’s definitely possible. TTTAMP likely has a tempo of 105 or 106. Numb was 110. So while it sounds somewhat similar to Numb too, I don’t think Numb was related or derived from to the track. TTTAMP sounds far too original to be a demo of any song on the album. (Another example, In The End and Numb both have a similar chord progression as TTTAMP.) Watch the video Mike’s Shirt LPUTV the verse part of the official TTTAMP instrumental is heard in the background, and we can hear it is very different from Numb.

That’s a possibility. But I feel like they would want to include the album’s unreleased outtakes first right? “Take Away My Pride” is basically confirmed to be one of the three unreleased songs from the sessions. If the song truly had vocals done for it, I can see it being one of the first ones to come. But who knows maybe they’ll do a different song first. Either way, I think “Take Away My Pride” is something I’m really praying finally gets uncovered this year. Whether or not they wanna save it for last or have it be the first to come, I think either way are good moves by LP. I still think kicking it off with that songs release first would be way cooler, because there’s still a lot from Meteora we’ve yet to hear, and that one is a big staple people already know. I think saving stuff we’ve never even heard of for last would be cooler IMO.

I think it’s safe to say that interview with Mike that was in that Spin Magazine from March 2003 (that mentions the titles “Shifter” and “Nocturnal”) was probably done at some point in late 2002. I’ve mentioned I think now that Nocturnal was a demo for “Nobody’s Listening” with the song board having it be the only one without any drums recorded for it. (I’m not wrong that Nobody’s Listening has only drum machine right and no live drums right?) Shifter might still be, but who knows. It could also have been a demo for a song that’s on the album. So much stuff we don’t know still that I hope can be uncovered for this anniversary

I’d love to hear the full version of it. My version was based off the three clips we’ve heard. I think the official version is probably a little bit shorter. I think the only parts of the song we’ve heard is the intro part (summer sanitarium lptv), the first verse (mike’s shirt lputv), and a part of one of the the choruses (making of meteora dvd). Now that Meteora 20 is coming up, i’m really hoping after all this time it finally makes its way out of the dark
