Am I right?

"Soon, the atom bomb will

Heat my room, heal my wounds"

Maybe sooner than we all know, greetings to tehran ;)

Esaul lyric:

Writing with a

Head full of buckets of red, and what I said

Still stuck in my head, a thoroughbred can only be bred if it's

Left in the land where they never come back

Stepping on the thumbtack, you could never run from that

No questions, rising above the horizon

Smellin' the combustion, I wanna collab with the power of my mind

But I'm turning around with the pen, counting down time

In the center of a day, over this

Seeing all my thoughts gettin' lost in the mist

Realizing one not the size of the fist

And the kill us, and they kill 'em with a flick of the wrist

I wanna live in another place

Where no one can say that I lived for them

(Soon, you'll see it's not meant to be for me)

I wanna be in the energy

Not with the enemy, a place for my head

The second I find the weapon of time

It's stronger than a nuclear bomb

Eternity a halfpipe, something that man can't right

Can't fight horribly? Still be around if it wasn't for me

You ain't that, first you end all our plans

So you can see the attraction of the payback

Don't want me to say that? Play back the beat now

Gettin' lost in the chaos, tossin' it down

Singing again to myself, a leg trip, neck twitch

All I do for a head full of hectic

Check this, please don't leave me outside

Adding to the panic in my confine

Blue is fucking dreadful. Thank God it never even made Hybrid Theory recording process stuff.

[slip]

In the center of the silence,

Finally thoughts are going through

The thick smoke of flickering lights

That blind the room

All the things that you wanted to say

Get lost and thrown away

You can maybe hesitate to speak your mind

Can't turn back when you crossed the line

Sometimes it's someone you know who just doesn't care

Has to see you go to know you were there

This is the (??) of the rain

Even then sometimes I feel I can't stand another minute

(??)

But I never look back to the beginning

I know that this is the (??) of the rain

Even then sometimes I feel I can't stand another minute

(??)

But I never look back to the beginning

I know all of this will soon be gone

You don't really have to prove them wrong

Sometimes you got no control of where you go

Taken down a road you don't know

And you feel so lost that you want to hide your face

You don't recognize the place you're in

Sometimes the Sun doesn't shine your way

Sometimes the night doesn't turn to day

Sometimes the light's so bright it burns through the night

and keeps the darkness at bay

This is the (??) of the rain

Even then sometimes I feel I can't stand another minute

(??)

But I never look back to the beginning

I know that this is the (??) of the rain

Even then sometimes I feel I can't stand another minute

(??)

But I never look back to the beginning

I know all of this will soon be gone

You don't really have to prove them wrong

I know soon enough you'll make them see

You me far away from them alone/along with me?

Follow the link of the chain without a name

Seal the light, the dark contains remains

Taken away from the place you've been trapped

Break all you know to bring it all back

This is the (??) of the rain

Even then sometimes I feel I can't stand another minute

(??)

But I never look back to the beginning

So:

Slip: Demo from Lockout

In The End(Untitled): Remastered version, of the demo that we got.

Robot Boy: Different lyrics, mastering

Broken Foot: Mix between A-06 and Faint(I think)

Esaul: Frat Party version, but the lyrics is different a bit.

Blue: Sounds like Stick 'n Move(Mostly the intro)

Am I Right?

Yay for Early Entry, although I feel kind of bad for Non LPU people.

I love that they put Esaul onto the CD. I adore the In the end demo, although I'm sure I heard it somewhere before, jsut can't remember where. Program is pretty awesome. The Instrumentals are way better than the last years, but the Unreleased Demos with Vocals aren't as awesome as for example Pretend to be or above all Across the line.

No no, nothing remastered. According to the booklet this appears to be the first demo of the song. So every other In The End demo appears to be newer.

Same for Esaul.

You probably know it from the hidden Esaul video on the Frat Party DVD.

Ok I understand, but the very first version of Esaul was the Xero one, right? That was the first demo what Chester heard from the band. Edited by raulgabi

Slip is the "unknown song" that we heard in the video "jammin with HT" by marc ostric

Yes, it's true, good find! :)

Anyway, after having listened to the cd 2 times, I have to say it's pure gold. I'm totally enjoying the old school spirit that lot of the songs have. To me, Slip could even have been on HT instead of Runaway. Broken Foot is kickass, even though the intro/outro riff makes me think of A-six and lacks of originaly. Program is really really good too.

And strangely, I feel like Robot boy is in better place on this CD than on ATS. It brings on a calm and cool vibe after some heavy riffs, while in ATS, it comes way too soon on the record, only making me feel more sleepy after The Requiem and BITS. But maybe that's only me :P

Just bought the annual package, so I'll have to wait a few weeks for the CD to reach the UK, but judging by the previews, I'm really looking forward to another great LPU CD!

I might have wet myself a little bit when I realized that Program is, as someone mentioned earlier, a song we hear on Frat Party. I believe it's the scene in the back of the tour bus with Mike and Phoenix, where Mike is demonstrating the Pro Tools rig they have there? Great to see it's finally surfaced on a CD, even if it is just an instrumental.

I'm half tempted to buy the download to get immediate access, wide-eyed and laughing manically as I throw my money into the wind! Although since someone said they're only 192kbps, I'll probably restrain my foolhardy enthusiasm and wait for the higher quality CD.

On another note, it's great to see that it's getting a generally good response on here! I don't post much, but I visit LPLive daily and this is probably one of that most upbeat discussions I've seen in a while :P
