Teagan Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Really interestings the reviews but are saying different Things... Check the 3. and 8. (?) its saying different things because the song is heavy at the beginning but ends the way you heard it in the snippet. Quote
VavourasLP Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 its saying different things because the song is heavy at the beginning but ends the way you heard it in the snippet. have you been to the pre-listening? Because I want to trust you lol Quote
Teagan Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 have you been to the pre-listening? Because I want to trust you lol yes, two times, lol. as far as I remember it starts with Mikes rapping, and later the snippet-part is following. Quote
bramante Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 yes, two times, lol. as far as I remember it starts with Mikes rapping, and later the snippet-part is following. Tell us more about the heavy part of the song Quote
Teagan Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Tell us more about the heavy part of the song I don't remember that much, I just know that Mike was rapping Fort Minor-like again. At least this was my impression. Quote
LPxDC Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 *editing and moving sorry for me being slow on everyone, hard to mod from an itouch and my moms computer. i need my laptop back ! XD the song sounds great! Definitely has potential Quote
LPPanther Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Interesting. Definitely want to hear the full song before I make my judgments but I like the direction it's going. Quote
Ashwhisker Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 It sounds very chill, and very radio-friendly. I like it. Quote
LPPanther Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 (edited) Lyrics: "I know what it takes to move on. I know how it feels to lie. All I wanna do is trade this life for something new. Holding on to what I haven't got. Yo, yo, what was left when the fire was gone? I thought it felt right but that right was wrong..." It sounds like Chester says "gone" at the end of the chorus but that doesn't make any since so I'm thinking it's "got". Edited September 3, 2010 by LPPanther Quote
Adam Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 This song gives me chills every time. So good. Quote
Andros Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 This song is awesome but is a shame that we no longer have the clips because with this song gave me more desire to listen to the album now Quote
luki9875 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 i am not listening to the new song or the snippets but reading all the positive comments gives me a massive smile on my face! cant wait.... so fucking excited for this albim seriously.... Quote
rav0k Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 (edited) Not sure what to think from the clip. My imagination is making me think something good will come out of this, hopefully I am right. Edited September 3, 2010 by rav0k Quote

LPPanther Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I have a hatred for reggaeThat's great. Unfortunately that has nothing to do with this song. Jesus do you people not understand? LP has always been about blending styles and this album is no different. Does the rapping have somewhat of a reggae vibe to it? Yes. But you have NOT heard the full song and you don't know how it will sound in the context of the song. I'm so sick of people like you posting stupid ass one sentence replies immediately bashing whatever you hear. At least explain what you don't like. Quote

rav0k Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 You mean something good tonight or later in the day? I was referring to the song itself. I haven't really been a big fan of their more upbeat material since Minutes to Midnight. Right when the clip fades out it sounds like it gets pretty interesting and diverse. Quote
dromani22 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 WH-HOW-I-JU-WHATTT? it's like the catalyst, wretches and kings, and waiting for the end are from completely different albums let alone 'genres' if you can even label any of those songs correctly.. this is AWESOME. Quote
