Edit: As I say this it's been posted on youtube (find it yourself, I'm not risking a warn for linking it), and I'm listening to it now. It's definitely guitar, not synth. I have yet to hear a synth play perfect guitar harmonics. Chester's chorus is pretty awesome but it doesn't really represent a shift in the mood of the song like a typical chorus.
